The Deity of Christ bridging over from the old testament on to the new testament.
Malachi 2:17- Malachi 3:1. Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment?
Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.
Isaiah 40:3. The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
Mark 1:2-4
As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.
The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.
John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.
NOTE: In Isaiah and Malachi the plural form for God is used. ( El-o-heem' ) as it is in Deuteronomy 6:4.
Who was the messenger preparing the way for God as mentioned? 'John the baptist'
When God came who did he show up as? " The Lord Jesus Christ. God bless.
