    who were the people that god created in chapter one of genesis when he said he created male and female because adam was created in chapter 2

    In Genesis chapter 1, God's creation of man & woman in His Image are the same people in Genesis chapter 2, where this human creation on the sixth day is further amplified & discussed. I don't see any contradiction or even the creation of two different races of people here: the first account is just giving God's Activity on each of creation's days, & the second account gives more detail of that creation.
