Divorce is adultery in the bible. I have been divorced and remarried and believe Jesus Christ has the power to forgive my sins. I believe Jesus Christ has the power to forgive any sin because he is judge. As long as we repent in sincerity and do not continue in the sins we have repented for. I believe divorced people can go to heaven but thats between you and the Lord. Pray to him repent and ask for guidance.
Matthew 5:32 - But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.
John 8:2-11
2 And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them.
3 And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst,
4 They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.
5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?
6 This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.
7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
8 And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.
9 And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
10 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?
11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
1 John 1:9 - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
If he was an unbeliever and divorced you; you're ok.
If he beat on you regularly, you're ok.
( you're called to be at peace)
You're not going to hell.
Matthew 5 and 1 Corinthians 7 have divorce or marriage info.
Busting up a marriage for other reasons; you may qualify for adultery, if you both were Christians at the time.
Jesus forgave a woman caught in adultery.
No one could condemn her except Jesus; and he forgave her.
Confess, and Pray for forgiveness. I usually say to meet with your Pastor for this. It helps to hear some wise counsel. Vows before God are very sacred and binding. Our society disagrees. Follow Jesus and your conscience will always be at peace.
That's an easy no .

I hope this helps. Mishael
