When we face challenges and persecution, we must learn to confide in, depend upon and run, as it were, into the strength of the Almighty God. This Psalms 3, points to the fact that in his says, the Psalmist went through all manner of trouble, and yet what he did was to look, unto the LORD. It is very encouraging to note that we can trust God, and find solace in His Word. And hence, when we agree with the Word of God and learn to permit Him, as the dwelling place and the habitation of our resolves, His protection becomes guaranteed. God is the refuge and strength of they that love and put their trust in Him. In fact, the fact that, as born again Christians, spirit filled, blessed and empowered of the LORD, through the grace of the Holy Writ, connotes that we should learn to trust God; no matter what the situation is, and also learn to speak our lives to protection, sanctification and purification.
