On verses 44 and 46, why most other versions (not King James Version 1611) remove these verses. I cannot understand the whole intent of why these verses have been removed. But one can have a good idea when one does a little scripture investigating.
1. The biblical term worm is in reference to the form (shape) that the unbelievers become in the lake of fire after the white throne judgment ( Revelation 20:11-15);
2. The fire is a direct reference to the eternal damnation in the lake of fire;
3. I am sure that this will not be received to better understand that the modern church does not want to upset anyone and that the average modern Christian is wanting to be politically correct and enjoy their watered down versions so they do not come under any convictions about the absolute truth of God's holy word;
4. Most modern churches will not teach and preach bible truth that make the modern Christians upset about their unsaved friends that they regularly associate with ( 1 Peter 4).
