I know , isiah 11:6 the lion shall lay down with the lamb, many may scriptures have changed, why some don't see it, i guess their in denial, or never studied the word of god. there are soooo many changes!!!!

Rosanna--scriptures by our Lord do not change--any change is man made by misinterpretation and speaking what they think it is instead of speaking the true scripture. God's word is the same yesterday, today and into eternity.

What is going on with my 1971, Authorized King James Bible then.? Now says wolf shall dwell with the lamb? Excuse me, but it says Adam was married to Eve, called wife. Rainbow is gone says bow, has ass in there many times, camel piss, college, highways, men breastfeeding, gave my friend a nervous breakdown, so much more in there it's unbelieable!?

Hi Rosanna, is your 1971 Bible a New KJV NKJV version ? Also, who is the publisher?

Iknow His word changeth not, sir, but my 1971 King James Authorized Bible has, it has really been disturbing. Repats in the same chapters, modern day language, some things, I can't even repeat, it's so outrageous, I have a friend , tht almost had a nervous breakdown over this. We are Christians, with a daily prayer life, I have studied the Bible many years, I don't why some see it and some do, it'

My Bible was purchashed many years ago. It is an old King James Version Bible, publisher, Thomas Nelson, 1971.

Thanks for sharing. Why do you think the text is changed since 1971? What do you feel the original is? If we look at the original published version in 1611 A.D. which is on this website you can see the meaning and sentence structures haven't changed, just some archaic words have been updated to keep up with 400 years of English word changes- are you aware of this?

I don't think you are understanding the point I am trying to get across. This is my own personal Bible, that I have studied out of all these years, words have changed, scriptures have changed, names and Titles to the books of the Bible have changed!

Please name at least one specific example.

Why has my KJV, now say, Moses came down with tables, in stead of tablets, says it several times.
  • Rosanna Jackson - In Reply - 5 years ago
Why does my kjv, say now, that, the 10 commandments are written on tables, same bible for many years, studied out of, used to say tablets. new testament, wineskins now say, instead of wineskins, says, bottles. the lion shall lay with the lamb, isaiah 11:6, now says the wolf shall dwell with the lamb, many ,many more. same bible i have read since 1971, can you exp.ain it, no one can!

Rosanna, I don't have time to research your other examples currently, but the one you assumed the KJV said wineskins- the KJV has always used the word bottles. So, if you believe you read it as 'wineskins' then you were reading a different translation, not KJV. It's probably the same for those other words. The KJV hasn't changed, but our memories can.

You don't see, but many of us do, the words have changed, I have assumed, nothing, the true word is hid in my heart. I was a Sunday school teacher, I know without a doubt something supernatual is happening.
