but when they came to force him to a cross, he offered himself for he came into this world to suffer, and went to the other world to reign. I believe Jesus was not a man of violence but he knew it was his time to suffer for our sins. In today's culture many would have done Jesus the same turn their backs due to fear and disbelief refusing accept the truth.
