Read the bible like a book. Start from the beginning to the end. It will be much more clear. GOD BLESS YOU ON YOUR SEARCH FOR THE TRUTH. In Jesus Christ name, Amen.
Gabby, God Bless You and you are absolutely right about reading God's word from beginning to end we will be blessed, but not only that, we will not be easily tossed to and from with every wind of doctrine, God helps is to remember his word so false prophets and teachers won't be able to deceive us! Stay strong in Jesus! Shar
Dear Netta it's good that you are wanting to read the Bible. When I first started Bible Studies I became very confused because of the Writers contridicting each other. I asked God for His Wisdom James1:5-8 which none of us were Born with and so need Proverbs 4:5 Jesus is now Leading me into all Truth if I'm not sure I ask Him and He confirms in my Heart and by Scripture. His Truth. Blessings-Anne.
if you read it wrong there will be contradictions BUT there are truly no contradictions in the King James Bible. You have to study it by dispensing the right verse to the right people and the right time period. Dispensation is key. CORRECTLY DIVIDING THE WORD.
Welcome Netta we all need to study All the Bible. May I suggest, if you have Dish network as a t.v. provider. Tune to channel 354 Shepherd's Chappel study with Pastors' Arnold Murray Dennis Murray. Chapter by Chapter, verse by verse. Hope I'm not stepping on any ones' toes. This is very good teaching true to the KJV 1911 Bible.
Hi Netta! As you study the word of God, this Psalm instructs us not to take counsel or advice from those who do not know God or does not believe in His power or holiness. Be very careful where you go and with whom or where you position yourself. It is good to know and believe God.
