    The Apocrapha was included in Reformation editions to show it was NOT Scripture as claimed by the Romanists, that in addition to the abuses of the Romanists that resulted in the Protestant Reformation. As that violent time passed, some Biblically illiterate Protestants began to accept it, so then it was properly removed from Protestant Bibles. Errors prove that Apocryphal books are not Canon.
