    The oath was or is to Christ 6:16 when God swore by himself David wrote psalms 110:4 "The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, tho art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek. Who was a king and a priest. We as well as Abraham are joint-heirs with Jesus Christ Ro. 8: 17 therefore we receive the promises and the oath of God as well Heb. 7:21. Glory be to God in the highest. Amen!
