    2 Timothy 3:12 "Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution." Cain murdered his brother because he was wicked and rejected the faith in Christ our Redeemer and Saviour, and because his brother Abel was a Believer and righteous. Jesus' entire discourse at the Last Supper was about what would be our purpose and calling and what we must expect to encounter in the world.
