We were always in the heart of God. What God did in Christ is Gods dream of the ages look at 1 Peter 4-12 the prophets looked for this time, the age of grace Gods family born again of His spirit by believing Romans 10:9+10 presenting us perfect making us righteous in Christ. God does nothing in vain. Two of my favorite verses. Jude 24+25 Now unto him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before his presents of his glory with ever exceeding joy to the only wise God our Saviour be glory and majesty dominion and power both now and ever amen. What a God.

James keep in mind we got born again because we believed Gods Word Romans 10:9+10 which is His will, we never willed or it wasn't mans plan we all were lost dead in trespasses and sin without God and without hope it wasn't done by any of our works this was all freely given by God through Jesus Christ also his will. Jeremiah 10:23 It is not within man to direct his own steps, thats pretty bad. Something to think about

To be baptised in His name is to confess Romans 10:9+10 which equals John 24:29 which equals Acts 1: 5-8 water has nothing to do with it its receiving god's Holy Spirit.

    Dear Trigo,

Prayer is POWERFUL Your prayers can be instrumental in your parents being born-again and the healing of their bodies.

SALVATION - John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. Romans 10:9-10 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Confess your sins to Jesus Christ, repent, and believe in your heart that he has saved you. He will give you a new heart and a new life in Him. Ezekiel 36:26 "A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh."

HEALING - I've had miracles in my own life. Almost four years ago, I couldn't walk due to an illness. Friends and family prayed. And not long after, I just got up and walked. My great-nephew was so sick in the womb that doctors advised abortion, but his mother refused. Family and friends prayed. And the symptoms left that child. And he was born healthy and thrives today at four years old. God is on the throne. He hears prayer. God can heal immediately Matthew 8:13 or after a period of time Mark 5:5. Remember, Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. What He did while He walked the earth, he can do sitting at the right hand of God in Heaven. God bless.

In John 14 Jesus Christ is sharing the things that will become and now are available when an individual confesse Romans 10:9+10 and believes it in their hearts and does the will of God which is His Word, His Spirit takes up resident LITERALLY in our bodies and He begins to make the way He operates and wants you to do known. The more you walk the more He makes known. The real mind blower is verse 12 and this guy raised the dead, and He said us who believe will do greater works than he did. Now we can believe it or not.

Hello! Sorry to hear about your husband. Matthew 4:24 "And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them."

First, if he hasn't already, he needs to go to the doctor for antibiotics and ear drops. Second, here's something that relieved my pain when I had a toothache. I got it from a woman who used it for her little boy when he had the earache.

    1. Wet a washcloth in super hot water and wring it out.

    2. Put the washcloth in a mug and then put the mug in the microwave for 20 to 30 seconds

    3. Have your husband put the cup near or over his ear, being careful not to let the hot washcloth touch his skin. This will relieve the pain and drain the pus inside the ear.

    4. Repeat until the earache is gone.

Remember, this home remedy is not to be used in place of going to the doctor for infection can linger without pain and lead to worse conditions.

    God bless.

Being born again is very simple....First we must realize that all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God....

    Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

Sin is anything that goes against God's standards and rules...this goes from lying to thinking bad thoughts...to murder and sexual perversions..ect... God says there is a price for these sins...and that price is death...and not just our bodies dying because our bodies are only temporal on this earth...but our SOULS are eternal...so this death God speaks of is in terms of ones soul to be eternally separated from the God that created us in His image..SO Hell is the punishment for sin...

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

BUT God!! Sent Jesus to pay our sin debt and it is a free gift to any that believe that Jesus died, rose, and is now at the Right Hand of the Father we also can live eternally with God..but we MUST KNOW we are sinners!! And just like a child that does something wrong seeks to be forgiven...we must seek the same from God through Jesus...with FAITH!!

    Romans 10:9-10

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Confess we KNOW Jesus as our Saviour!! Believe in our hearts we are sinful...but God loves us enough to have mercy on us...believe God raised Jesus up...and He WILL raise His children up as well...Jesus defeated death...God raised Him from the grave! He can give us rebirth!! IF we will just accept it! Praying God give you wisdom and understanding in this if you have never been born again!

Dale absolutely Look at Gospel of John 14: 12-14, one of these days were going to believe this stuff. Think of all the works He Did, and to think all someone has to do is confess Romans 10:9+10 and believe. There was a man I think His name was star daily Great man of God, confessed Romans 10:9+10 on death row believed and don't know if it was instantaneous of over time but when they came for execution His visage Changed so much that they believed they locked up the wrong man and set Him free. Another one was a narcotics dealer in south america son of an Evangelist who mother was preaching one night and stopped to pray for her son. At the time she prayed he had a gun in his mouth and pulled the trigger and it shot but the bullet turned to power in his mouth. He new it was a miracle got born again. One more I met a lady born again that was prayed for her sickness, died was rolled down to the hospital area for autopsy and shocked the examiners because before they did anything she woke up and sat up healed. Its available

Dale God designed the human body to be self healing any Honest person in the medical field will attest to that statement now to be healed By God of something from my experience and when you read if I'm reading correctly when Jesus Christ healed with Gods power you always read immediately. There's the difference between the two and since the day of pentecost absolutely available in any and all categories example and this is the mind blower Gospel of John 14:10-14 wrap your head around that one. Thats what available after Romans 10:9+10. What a Father and Saviour. God Bless

Are you a born-again Christian? That is, have you confessed your sins, repented, and asked Jesus Christ to come into your heart? Because having Jesus Christ as your personal Savior is the most important and the thing you can ever possess. Mark 8:36 "For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?" What a pity it would be for you to get 1 Trillion dollars each day and die without Christ and go to hell.

But you can be saved. God loves you. Jeremiah 1:5 "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you." He sent His only Son to die for you John 3:16-18 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." But it's not enough to believe in your head. You must believe in your heart. Ezekiel 36:26 "A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh." May God bless you.

Jesus came to save, to bless, to redeem, and to protect. The Holy Spirit is our great Comforter and Counselor and protector. Isaiah 41:10 "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."

As far as the other things you prayed for, John 16:23 "Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you."

God bless and keep you and yours!

Gen. 3 Fall of man spiritually lost connection with God no spirit still had body and soul. Now throughout old testament Spirit given to certain men i.e. moses, David, Noah, shown how to build ark, abraham Isaac Jacob and so on. Day of pentecost given to all who confess Romans 10:9+10 called in hebrews incorruptable seed also known as Holy Spirit Gods Gift, Displayed in full power by Only Begotten son Our saviour. Right this second, the most important thing your brother needs--above and beyond a cancer cure--if he has not been born again, he needs to take Jesus Christ as his personal Savior.

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

If he is already a born-again Christian, he has nothing to fear. 2 Corinthians 5:8 "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord."

Pray that the cancer and its symptoms leave him in Jesus's name. Prayer is POWERFUL I've had miracles in my own life. Almost four years ago, I couldn't walk due to an illness. Friends and family prayed. And not long after, I just got up and walked. My great-nephew was so sick in the womb that doctors advised abortion, but his mother refused. Family and friends prayed. God can heal immediately Matthew 8:13 or after a period of time Mark 5:5. Remember, Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. What He did while He walked the earth, he can do sitting at the right hand of God in Heaven. God bless.

Chelsea you don't need anyone around to be saved and baptized Confess romans 10:9+10 and believe, I've known people who got born again in closets, hospital beds, jail cells, etc. that is between you and the father also to receive Holy spirit is the same thing, God is more willing to give than we are to receive. Also no body is good enough that's why we have a saviour its not given by merit its given because we need it and God knows that. All things of God are given freely, we just need to do whats written to recieve. Also you don't need water look at Acts 1:4-6 so believe and receive. God Bless

First of all, are you a born-again Christian? If not, take Jesus as your Savior by confessing your sins and asking Him to come into your heart. Romans 10:9-10.

We pray, and God answers, sometimes instantly, sometimes we have to be patient, and sometimes we need to put our legs on our prayers. Praying for peace falls in the latter of the three. How? Seek peace and it will be given to you Isaiah 26:3 "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee." Be faithful in reading your Bible and in praying, have regular daily devotions, go to church regularly. You might even try praying the alphabet prayer by choosing a trouble for every letter and praying over it. For example, A for Alchohol--Dear Lord, please keep me clothed in you so that I won't go out and buy booze to fulfill the lust of my thirst for it.

God is perfectly able to heal you. But sometimes He expects us to put legs on our prayers and seek help. That's what doctors are for. Perhaps you have a kidney ailment, a spinal dysfunction that needs addressing. Also, one of the symptoms of menopause is incontinence or not being able to hold your urine until you get to the bathroom. If you have seen a doctor and know what is going on with your health, make sure you are following his orders. Pray, read your Bible, cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

First--and most importantly of all--are you a born-again Christian? If not, take Jesus as your Savior by confessing your sins and asking Him to come into your heart. Romans 10:9-10.

God is perfectly able to heal you. But sometimes He expects us to put legs on our prayers and seek help. That's what doctors are for. When you ask God for something, always say, "Your will be done in Jesus's name." The hard truth is sometimes it is not God's will to take our ailments away. Paul asked God to remove a thorn in his flesh (which some people believe was poor eyesight in that he depended on Luke to write out his epistles), but God refused, saying, My grace is sufficient for you. 2 Corinthians 12:7-9. Paul moved on just as some of us must also do.

if you are a born-again Christian--you must understand--you received the Holy Spirit the second you were saved. Luke 14:16. You need not ask for God to send Him to you for He does not come and go. He is with you always.

Cast your cares upon Him for He careth for you. 1 Peter 5:7. He will answer according to His will. He will always sustain you. Psalm 55:22. Pray continuously, especially for His will in these matters. Read His Word and wait upon him. He will not fail you. Let your needs rest in Him. He may not answer your prayer the way you want, but he will make a way for you to have victory over this matter.

Baptism by water does not get you to heaven. Jesus Christ himself was baptised, But he was and still is the son of God.

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. This means that you Believe and confess that you believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that Jesus died on the cross, shed his own blood for the forgiveness of our sins, always and forever.

While hanging on the cross, Jesus said "It it finished". He was saying this has been done for you. so that you may have eternal life with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit in Heaven. Water doesnt save, but Jesus blood has and did.

    thanks and God bless.

With as much Love and grace of the Lord Jesus Christ that is with in me; I ask that you look into Luke 16: 22- 24. Not all will be with Christ forevermore. 2 Peter 3:9 tells us of God's desire for all, but not all will be with Christ forevermore.

May the Lord bless you in your search of God's righteousness and His wisdom not our own. 2 Peter 1:20

Revelation 20:11-15 depicts the great white throne of Christ Jesus. Not all will be with Christ forevermore.

God gave us these passages, as well as the one's you gave, to help us all to become "Christians or born again believers" in order that we are able to be with Him forevermore.

God's desire is that we be with Him forevermore as you brought forth in your discussion. But only through Scripture, His way. 1 Corinthians 15: 1- 4; Romans 10: 9, 10; 1 John 5:10-13

Pray that this discussion helps everyone on this Forum. God bless you. Love in the Lord Jesus Christ.

I trusted in the Name of Christ and His work on the cross for my salvation ( Romans 10: 9-11). The word of the Lord is not open to any private interpretation, not my words but the Lord's word in 2 Peter 1:20.

Therefore as I grow in God's word my desire is that all will be included in God's Heaven. 2 Peter 3:9. That is why I go in Jesus Christ Name ( Acts 4: 10-12) and testify and witness to others about the gospel of Christ. It is my responsibility, my love for my Lord and Savior and also for the Lost in Christ to bring them to Christ. Matthew 28: 18-20.

If you read and study the Word of God, it will become evident why there are two gates. God is love and will not force anyone to trust in Him. Everyone has a choice, you choose. Or find a Bible believing church or a person whose been saved, reads the Bible, and serving God to help you make your decision about God's salvation and heaven. God is Love, but He is Holy first. God's desire is for all to be saved. Titus 3:5, 6

Call on God!! Before we pass into eternity and it will be too late.

Hello Lex. Others here have responded, which should encourage you that we are mindful of what you are going through, identifying with your struggles, & by being in Christ, there is always hope ahead & only His Light that is at the 'end of the tunnel of despair'.

Re-reading your comments over & over again, I'm wondering whether you have really been taught in God's Word & therefore unable to believe & hang on to its Truths. You only know what took place when you first repented of your sins, turning to Jesus for forgiveness & then subsequently baptized in water. The Word of God tells us that we can know that our salvation is both real & secure: Romans 10:9 "if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou SHALT be saved." And verse 13, "whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord SHALL be saved." If we have called upon the Lord, putting our faith in His Work for us by His death & resurrection, God will fulfil His Promise that we will receive His Salvation & be welcomed into His family.

The other point that you can take confidence in is the fact of your distress over the state of your soul after being saved. A person who doesn't belong to the Lord, has no such concern, simply because the things of Christ are meaningless to him. The fact that you are agonizing about your salvation & unbelief must prove God's Spirit working in you: maybe keeping you restless until you take God seriously for all that He has said. If you have doubts & fears about your salvation or the Truth of God's Word, then these are not from within you but from the enemy of our souls who wants to keep you bound & therefore weak in faith & Christian experience. Spending time on things that are contrary to the Bible & your salvation, instead of God's Word, gives Satan a fertile ground to work with. Remember, God does forgive us our sins, but we still have to believe in that fact & continue on in our walk with Him.

    Hello Lex,

You have been given some pretty sound biblical advice here. If I might add, Hebrews 6:4-6 is not talking about a born again believer losing salvation as salvation cannot be lost.

I would like to also share with you what I get from Mark 9:24, the verse you shared. I'm glad you brought this verse up.

It says, "And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief."

Nowhere in the Bible does it challenge someone to come up with their own faith so that Jesus can perform in your life. That's the cry of a person. I believe, but Lord Help my unbelief because I can't believe. Only God can give me that. Help my unbelief!

It is always the strong point in a person's life when they can approach the Lord, even as a nonbeliever, even if you don't understand the things of God, you can still approach Him and say "Lord, if you are real, make yourself real to me!"

I mean, even a nonbeliever, somebody who doesn't believe in God, they are asking God to do it all because they realize their human inability to figure Him out.

If you have ever looked at the awesomeness of an electrical storm, you can just sense that there is an awesome God behind all of this because this is just a drop in the bucket compared to the universe.

But how are you going to find God? How are you going to know about Him? You know, when you come to Him and say, help my unbelief, I am empty, magnify yourself to me, show yourself to me, because I don't have the ability to know, and He reaches down to those people to manifest Himself.

If you have truly called out to the Lord to save you, His promise is that He will do so ( Romans 10:13). And once you are saved, your salvation can never be lost!

Good day to you my brother Earl. As I also enjoyed reading of your post of Scriptures put together.

A couple interesting things the Holy Spirit has led me to today studying the Scriptures.

One thing just interesting was that is was a "sin", or not allowed, for a high priest to rend his clothes. Leviticus 21:10. As the high priest is said to have done in Mark 14:63.

On a more divine note that in the OT in Joel 2:32 stating "whosoever shall call upon the name of the LORD shall be delivered/saved". Speaking of YHWH Almighty God. In Romans 10:13 almost the same words though now speaking of Christ. John 10:30,

Have a Blessed day brother Earl.

    Dgjot,

I agree with what you are saying.

Although witnessing Christ to others is a good thing, no one should put a heavy burden on us to do so. There are some who even say that Jesus would have come back by now if we believers were out there "doing our jobs."

It should never be about putting a guilt trip on a believer to get out and do their job so that everyone will be reached.

Besides, John 1:9 tells us that the whole world has already been reached.

The word, the Logos, enlightens every person coming into the world. Every single human being born into this earthly life will be enlightened by God to the truth.

There will not be one person that will stand before God that will ever say "Hey I didn't know anything about it." Here is why. I'll give you three scriptures.

Psalm 19:1-4 says that creation, the language of creation goes throughout the world. There is no language that does not understand the language of creation. And creation speaks of the Creator.

So much so that in Romans 1:19-20, the apostle Paul even says that what is known of God is clearly manifest as God reveals the truth of the invisible God to every person.

Romans 10:18 is a verse people will use to motivate Christians to help support missionary work around the world. Unfortunately some stop at Verse 17 when it says faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

"So we have got to get the word of God out there and reach those people."

Except in Verse 18 Paul says, but I say have they not heard? Yes they have. Their sound went out into all the earth and their words unto the ends of the world.

So it's not up to us to reach everyone. In the book of Revelation, we are told of God's plan to reach every single person.

There will be the two witnesses, an angel will be flying around in mid-heaven for 3-1/2 years warning everyone.

And there will also be 144,000 Jews who will be evangelizing and reaching the list. So God has it pretty much covered!
