Yes, I am a christian and so is the family member of mine. I love and believe in God, but I haven't known him very long sadly. And my family is currently trying to get a public offender know to see what we can do. And I also like to believe that the person will win there case before God 100%. But, Thank you so much for your help Mishael I appreciate it. Stay safe and take care and God Bless you. :)

    All I know is that Jesus is your Advocate;

Your attorney who speaks for you when Satan accuses you before the throne.

    1 John 2:1

If the defendant is innocent; then he should win his case before God.

    I'm not an attorney.

I'm going to note that you have not said if this person is a born again Christian. Are you a Christian? Meet with legal aid and find out if evidence can be reviewed. Write everything down.

Someone needs to be brave and just get it down to bare bones about the Rapture; and the Second Coming. Two separate events.

The bare bones is this: quit waiting for some big sign post in the sky that says it's going to be tonight or next week. Our time for sin is done. Quit wondering and open up the door of your heart that Jesus is knocking on.

Give your life to Jesus Christ... and take His Life. Accept him as your Savior and Lord.

Take yourself OFF of the throne of your heart....and PUT Jesus on that throne. Do it now!

End your fleshly, worldly lifestyle and begin to live for Jesus only. If the Holy Spirit cringes in your home....get rid of the idols.

You cannot learn the Bible with media all over your home. Stop now and read this passage: it's about the media!! Isaiah 8:18-22. Wizards that peep and mutter are computers that are hooked up to internet, Facebook, evil Twitter of voices of heartless hell bound people. Verse 20, because there is NO LIGHT in them! People feed themselves on garbage every day. No wonder there is no sense of stability in their christian walk.

We're living in Bottom Line days here! The moment Jesus speaks COME UP, we are gone. The door is shut.

Avoid all the confusion of varying opinions. BE BORN AGAIN NOW. Then you won't have to wonder when THE MOMENT will be. Your ticket is punched. You are ready to board!!

We are surely going to see Matthew 24 bloom and spread out across the world. Time for lively debates has passed. If you care so much, go next door and see if your neighbor is ready....and to others on the street. Romans chapter one.

If other people are not saved; do not want to be saved; ask you to leave ( Romans 1)

They are dead already. Noah's world drowned. This world is going by fire.

It blows my mind that people are not one bit curious about New Jerusalem? Are not highly excited about meeting the Son of God. Beloveds, look forward. Be ready. Keep your eyes on Jesus.

Suresh, Frankincense is similar to Incense, in that it too can be used for providing aroma & also of have some medicinal value. Of course, we note that Frankincense was brought as a gift by the Magi to the new born baby Jesus, usually understood as a symbol of Jesus' future priestly role (as Gold was for His Kingship & Myrrh, prefiguring His death).

Whereas, Incense in Hinduism, though similar in providing a sweet odour, is essentially used in the performance of puja & prayers to a deity in an offering made in love to the deity. And incense is used in other religions as well for similar purposes, other than to given a sweet smell in a house, generally used today. In pure Christianity, incense is not used, as we believe that the God Whom we worship delights in His people coming to him anywhere, anytime & without the need of any paraphernalia to bring Him any further delight or acceptance. We come to God in simple love & faith & believing He hears & answers our prayers to Him.

I need someone to help me figure something out, a family member of mine was locked up for something that the person didn't do. The person has to do 6 years. And I know that the person didn't do it because the person is a very good, loving caring person. My family got the best lawyers just for what the person was accused of, the lawyer stated that she had never lost a case. Well, she lied and took are money to use for drugs and their own personal problems. But, the trial, the whole court case was messed up. They got the victim to lie on the stand, but yet my family member has to do time. The family member of mine has lost all hope. My family member used to have super strong faith in God but know he has very little faith, maybe not any and I know that this probably isn't something to say but I really don't blame him. Having your whole life stripped away. Not to mention the money that was spent ($82 thousand). And where I live the governor is lying about how many cases are in the jails, and prisons. So I am very worried about the person, not to mention that the person has health problems. So, know for my question what should my family do, we have tried literally everything that we could. I keep being told that God, has a plan, God, has a plan. But I just don't know what to think anymore. And it really hurts my family. So, if anyone has any suggestions please, please comment on my post. I would greatly appreciate it.

Repent: The meaning for those with eyes to see and ears to hear:

Acts 3:19 REPENT Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your SINS sins may be blotted out, (change your mind on SIN)

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, REPENT Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of SINS sins,

Acts 8:22 REPENT Repent therefore of this thy WICKEDNESS wickedness,

2 Corinthians 12:21 And lest, when I come again, my God will humble me among you, and that I shall bewail many which have sinned already, and have not REPENT repented of the uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness which they have committed. ( repent uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness )

Revelation 2:21 And I gave her space to REPENT repent of her FORNICATION fornication; and she repented not.

(IS FORNICATION A SIN OR A CHANGE OF MIND?)

Revelation 2:22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit ADULTERY adultery with her into great tribulation, except they REPENT repent of their DEEDS deeds.

Revelation 9:21 Neither REPENTED repented they of their MURDERS murders, nor of their SORCERIES sorceries, nor of their FORNICATION fornication, nor of their THEFTS thefts.

1st Corinthians 6:9 311 know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived neither fornicators nor adulterers nor idolaters or a feminine or abusers of themselves with mankind Northeast nor Covetous nor drunkards nor revilers North storage nurse shall inherit the kingdom of God and such were some of you but you are washed but you are Sanctified but you are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the spirit of our God. You see bob that the blood of Christ washes away all the sin of the Believers so when God sees the believer he sees perfection it's clear that we were all of those things before we trust in Christ as our savior the only difference is we are washed sanctified and purified in the blood of Christ it's his blood that washes us not our Behavior Romans 4:8 blessed is the one whose sin the Lord will never count against him ! did the dying Thief repent of sin? or did he believe on the Lord? Meaning he changed his mind about Christ and believe that he was truly the Lord and that Jesus could save him and Jesus did indeed save him saying today you will be with me in Paradise he had no time to repent of sin or get baptized he was dying on the cross with Jesus and Jesus required nothing of him but simple belief.
  • Ken - In Reply on Revelation 7 - 4 years ago
I think what you need to do Bob is prove to everyone that repent means to turn from sin because it doesn't it means to change your mind God changed his mind many times and in order for anyone to be saved they have to change their minds and if you had to turn from sin to be saved you become the savior and therefore you're not going to be saved Romans 11:6 and if by Grace then it is no more of Works otherwise Grace is no more Grace but if it be of works and it is no more grace otherwise work is no more work Ephesians 2:8 and 9 for by grace are you saved through faith it is not of yourselves as gift of God not of Works lest any man should boast 1st John 1:8 if we claim to be without sin we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in US

This is the barley harvest after the first fruits are sealed the faithful church in Revelation 3:10 and the church that is watching and praying they are worthy to escape these things in Luke 21:36 it is the rapture but not like you have been taught it's not the trumpet sounding and the dead in Christ rising in 2 thess that happens at wheat harvest which is at the last trumpet the 7th trumpet in Revelation which the barley wheat and first fruits will also be apart of the grape harvest comes later with those who didn't take the mark are raised to life again to rule and reign with us a 1000 years there are 3 harvests after the first fruits 144000 are sealed so it's the rapture of the faithful church that is watching and worthy to escape the 7 trumpets it's the barley harvest
  • Bob Hilt - In Reply on Revelation 7 - 4 years ago
Ken You write "if repent means to turn from sin then God is a sinner because he repented so many times"

Do you dare to compare yourself with a sinless God by claiming repent means to the same thing for both of us?

Sinful man vs a sinless God? Have you never known words to have more than one meaning?

So in Revelation 2 when the Lord told the Believing church to repent, what were they repenting of?

Their unbelief? A change of mind.

    Revelation Chapter 2

    1 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;

2 I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:

3 And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.

4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.

5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

    except thou repent.

    except thou repent.

    except thou repent.

    except thou repent.

telling the BELIEVING CHURCH to REPENT OF WHAT?

    UNBELIEF?
  • Ken - In Reply on Revelation 7 - 4 years ago
Hi Bob this is Ken I agree with you on the first two Commandments these are the Commandments of Christ The Ten Commandments were nailed to the cross as you are well aware of by the scriptures Jesus himself said not to put new wine into old wineskins he was referring to the age of Grace the church age in which we are living right now and if repent means to turn from sin then God is a sinner because he repented so many times I can't even count for everyone who wants to know that the Commandments of Christ are 1st John 4:21 and this is the Commandment we have from him that we he who loveth God loves his brother. 1st John 5

Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.

2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.

3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, OUR FAITH......

5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that BELIEVES that Jesus is the Son of God?

Revelation 2:11 he that has an ear let him hear what the spirit says to the church is he that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death. We learn in 1st John 5 that the Overcomer is the one who puts their faith in Jesus Christ or believes is finished work what is his finished work? John 6:29 Jesus answered and said to them this is the work of God that you believe on him who he sent! And when he was talking to the church. And when he told the church in Revelation to repent he wanted them to come back to his first work ,which was to believe on Christ and go forth with that teaching! what they were doing as we have in this day and age and which you have presented is another gospel in which you mingle works with our faith Works cannot come until we have faith.
  • Bob Hilt - In Reply on Revelation 7 - 4 years ago
Greetings Ken, Agreed we need to believe and depend on HIS WORKS, not our own.

However Jesus said some things to consider

Jesus said in John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Someone asked Jesus what was the most important commandment.

Matthew 22:36 - Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

Mat 22:37 - Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

Mat 22:38 - This is the first and great commandment.

Mat 22:39 - And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Mat 22:40 - On these two commandments hang ALL the law and the prophets.

1 John 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

Mark 6:12 - And they (12 apostles) went out, and preached that men should repent.

Jesus speaking in Luke 13:3 - I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

and again Luke 13:5 - I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish

    Repent of what?

Act 2:38 - Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the REMISSION of SINS, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Revelation 2:21 - And I gave her space to repent of her (SIN) fornication; and she repented not.

Rev 2:22 - Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit (SIN) adultery with her into great tribulation,

except they repent of their deeds.

Jesus speaking and telling the BELIEVING CHURCH IN EPHESUS TO REPENT

    Revelation 2:1 - Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write;

Rev 2:4 - Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.

Rev 2:5 - Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent,

and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. Jesus told the believing church to repent...of what?
  • Ken - In Reply on Revelation 7 - 4 years ago
Hi bree this is Ken, God never said to turn from sin to be saved if you are hearing this which I would say 75% of all Christians who claim to be saved preach another gospel that Paul talked about one in which will not save this is why Christ says I never knew you when these people come to him and say we did all these things in your name we cast out demons and we prophesied in your name you see Jesus never said I knew you once and lost you because you kept sinning he said I never knew you because they believed that they had to turn from their sin that they had to get baptized that they said they had to give Jesus their heart that they had to make Jesus the Lord of their life see when you do all that and rely on that to assure you of your salvation you become the Savior and not Jesus if you take the Lord at his word hey you just have to Simply trust in his finished work that he traded places with you he took your sin and paid for them all of them past present and future and he gave you his perfect sinless righteousness as a free gift and if you would just simply receive this gift the Bible says that he gives you power to become the sons of God

I agree. As we read the Bible, we come up with slightly different perspectives and one of those has to do with the time of the Rapture.

Please, show me your timeline of events recorded in Scripture about the End Time? I will list mine below. Please clarify. Thanks.

    1. THE ANTICHRIST. Daniel 7-12

Daniel 9:27 - And he will confirm a covenant with many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of the temple will come the abomination that causes desolation, until the decreed destruction is poured out upon him.

    2. THE ANTICHRIST EXALTS HIMSELF OVER GOD IN THE TEMPLE.

Matthew 24:15 - when you see standing in the holy place 'the abomination of desolation

    3. THE GREAT TRIBUALTION.

Matthew 24:21 - at that time there will be great tribulation, unmatched from the beginning of the world

Revelation 7:14 - These are the ones who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Revelation 20:4 - I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the Beast.

    4. THE COMING OF CHRIST and RAPTURE.

2 Thessalonians 2:1 - Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to Him

Matthew 24:3 - when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming

Matthew 24:29 - Immediately after the tribulation

Daniel 7:13 - and I saw One like a Son of Man coming with the clouds of heaven

1 Thessalonians 4 - we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds

Mark 13:26 - At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.d And He will send out the angels to gather His elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of heaven.

Revelation 18:4, - Come out of her, My people.

19:1f For the marriage of the Lamb.

Thank you for breaking this down i just had someone tell me that i needed to know what gate i was going in because if i wasn't in the 144,000 i wasn't one of Gods chosen to make it to heaven no matter if i repented and turned away from my sins and was living a Christ like life. I was very puzzled like why growing up in church i was taught that if you live faithful and serve God without sin that I will make it to heaven when he returns to receive his bride the church. I was very lost and confused but your comment cleared up my confusion. Thank you
  • David Hamilton on Isaiah 49 - 4 years ago
Definitely referring to Christians. It's addressed to the whole world, not Israel specifically as Isaiah 48 is addressed. God gives many promises to the gentiles in this passage, to the point that Zion (a reference to Israel) cries out, "You've forgotten us!" God uses comforting language after Zion's concern is expressed. It reminds me of the prodigal son's brother who can't believe how well his father is treating the prodigal; but the father comforts and reminds him that he still has an inheritance. I read that this is the regathering of Israel in a commentary, but I don't see that anywhere in this passage. A parallel passage is in Revelation 7:15-16; and it's clear that this is a reference to people of all nations, tribes, tongues, people, etc...

In street ministry you find that many out there believe in God and Jesus. They might drink and prefer the company of like friends. I've never met anyone abusive. I buy some a hamburger at McDonald's or give them coupons to get one. I could tell so many heart aching stories. Young teens who'd rather live out there, than at home. All willing to be prayed for and happy to get a cool T-shirt or hoodie. It makes your prayer life explode with purpose and direction. You understand how Jesus met those with needs and did good things and the miracles. He wanted his followers to do the same. I know why he went outside the camp to pray alone.

Talk about fire and brimstone! Please recall, It's the goodness of God that leadeth thee to repentance. -- Rom. 2:4. All you street preachers mix some honey with your vinegar. Put yourselves in the shoeless footsteps of the skid row sinner. He is likely using (abusing) to escape their sinful state. They likely have already experienced the wrath of Satan. He and she are trying to find solace in a dark and crooked and perverse world the they have already been subjected and are currently enduring. So you are the light of God to them and representing God's love for them. What an honor, privilege in the exercised authority and (exousia) power you have - in the absence of the physical Christ!
  • K D Harms on Revelation 7:14 - 4 years ago
In the RSV Version, Chap.7, V.14 Must be understood in light of the intermediate context of Revelation Chaps. 1-3 The overall instructions with subsequent promises to the churches of Asia (minor) Rev.3 10 says, "Because you individual 'you' have kept the word of my patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial which is coming on the whole earth to try all those who dwell upon the earth." This promise is to all the churches from the first century until now. Chap 7 v 13, He who has an ear let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. That's churches plural. This admonition is repeated at the close of the addresses to all the churches. The Church is not appointed unto wrath.
