Timothy Wayne George on Revelation 16 - 12 years ago
Revelation 16:15 When Jesus says I come as a thief, this is not the pre-tribulation rapture, because that happens in chapter 4:1 Come up hither. This is in reference to His second coming at Revelation 19:11 and it will be sudden with the saints coming with Him who were in heaven. Christ is coming to stop all of the murder, sexual assaults, and witchcraft that are taking place on the earth. The tribulation will last seven years and consist of 21 judgments that will take place to purge the world of sin. Men will continue to blaspheme God, rather than repent of their sin. The goodness of God causes men to repent. The 144,000 Jews will be saved during this time. Christ will come right after the battle of Armageddon. God is not willing that any should perish, but that all men would come to repentance. We are told to watch, and pray so that we can escape this time of great tribulation that will come upon all the world that rejects Jesus Christ as their Lord.
Imight be wrong' but ithink we all ought pray and ask GOD for understanding of his WORD. Because if he don't give you understanding your like walking in the dark groping trying to find your way.But the word is sprit and you have to be in the spirt to understand it.AND as for CPT.GOD is warning his people to get your house in order becauseJESUS is coming and all that reading is going to be left. Andis comming with his army of saints to set things in order AND 1 MORE THING YOU CAN NOT BE DECEIVE IF YOU READ YOUR WORD BECAUSE WE KNOW AN antichirst IS COMMING SAINT OF GOD STAY PRAYED UP STAY IN THE SPIRT BE READY TO CAUGHT UP IN THE AIR WITH CHIRST. YOU CAN MISS A BUS ' A PLANE' TRAIN SAINTS OF GOD THERES ONLY ONE REPUTRE DOT MISS THE MOVEMENT OF GOD (DON'T BE LEFT BEHIND)! LOVE YA'LL BE READY!
In Isaiah 2:10-22 we read of the day of the Lord of hosts in which the Lord Will arise to shake terribly the earth. In chapter 24:5-6 Isaiah of says (of this day) the earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate. Therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned and a few are left. Jeremiah says: a noise shall come even to the ends of the earth: for the Lord hath a controversy with the nations, he will plead with all flesh: he will give them that are wicked to the sword ( Jeremiah 25:27-38 ). The nations shall drink the cup of the wrath of the almighty God. God had promised Abraham a blessing to all the nations through his seed, that is Christ. He was given for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles. Before the desolation of Jerusalem Paul had these words to say to the Gentiles: and if some of the branches broken off and thou being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them partakers of the root and the fatness of the olive tree: boast not against the branches, but if thou boast, thou bearest not the root but the root thee. Thou wilt say the branches were broken that I may be grafted in. Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standeth by faith. Be not highminded but fear: for if God spared not the natural branches take heed lest he spare not thee.--- for if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be grafted in their own olive tree ( Romans 11:17-26)? The beginning of the gospel was foreran by Malachi 3 messenger ( Mark 1: 1- 3); Jesus pointed in Mathew 11: 10: for this is he, of Whom it is written, Behold I will send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare the way before me. He was the forerunner of the first coming and he went before him in the the Spirit and power of Elijah, and many of the children of Israel he turned to the Lord their God ( Luke1:17) .He, Christ is the author and the finisher of our faith. He promised in Revelation 10:7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he declared to his servants the prophets. We read in the scripture, concerning the second coming: and at midnight there was a cry made, behold the bridegroom cometh (25:5) there is the messenger that is to forerun the second coming, the supper time messenger( Luke 14:17, Revelation 19:9). The forerunner of the second coming will have the spirit of Elijah just as the first forerunner. He will have a world wide ministry because the curse of Isaiah 24:6 will follow after the days of his ministry. The Gentiles (church) will be Judged just as Jerusalem was destroyed by General Titus. The Malachi 3 messenger with the spirit of Elijah ministered the other side of the the atonement before death burial and ressurection. The messenger of Malachi 4 with the spirit of Elijah minister this side of the atonement before the rapture of the church
I find it interesting that the word "sword" here is the same word used for sword in Revelation 1:16; Revelation 2:12,16; Revelation 19:15; and Revelation 19:21. ([Greek #4501 - in a James Strong concordance [cover and pages missing])
In other usages, #3162 is used for sword.
The #4501 is always referencing Jesus and the Word of God; whereas, #3162 seems to reference a physical sword.
Once in Hebrews 4:12, the #3162 is used saying the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword... So the word of God is being contrasted with a physical sword.
Also, in Ephesians 6:17 the #3162 is used; but, the sword we are told to take (the sword of the Spirit) is the Word of God.
I find it interesting that the sword in Revelation 6:8 is #4501.
Its about a 5 to 20 minute war with 180 hail storm of rocks at the Armageddon or translated the gathering place. The antichrist or translated instead of Christ and his small people of kenites and his fallen angels ministers and the decieved that went there to fly away with their little rock jesus. Hammered with stones to the head.
In others words you receive the mark because your decieved in verse 20.that's how they ended up worshiping the beast they didn't know no better and were marked with him.
Well, its actually Armageddon when earthly kingdoms and thier armies fight aginst Jesus, who now is king in heaven and his armies of loyal angels. It+s gonna be a messy one but earthly leaders simply wont leave over thier power to the heavenly kingdom.

I started to research this verse today and was suprised at how many different answers there were.
The conclusion that I have arrived at is not any of those that I have seen so far.
The one common element in Matthew 24:28 and Luke 17:37 is mentioned just previously to the verses in both books. It is he second coming of Christ.
The only other mention that I can find about "fowl of the earth" that is tied into Christs second coming is in Revelation 19:17-18.
The word "carcase" means "to fall". The carcase are fallen ones, physically and spiritually. Those who are not children of God and are destroyed at the brightness of His coming. The eagles that gather are the fowls metioned in Revelation to feast on the wicked, the supper of the great God. I try to let scripture interpet its self and with prayer this is the conclusion that I have arrive at.
The Words that I speak unto you , they are spirit, and they are life. John 6:63
Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak;(spiritual leaders)and hear,O earth,(worldly people)the Words of my mouth. My doctrine(teaching) shall drop as the rain,my speech shall distil(purify) as dew,as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass: Deuteronomy 32:1,2
For the Lord giveth wisdom:out of his mouth cometh Knowledge and understanding. Proverbs 2:6
God:judge or idol.
His (Jesus) name is called the Word of God. Revelation 19:13
The Word = Jesus (the Word was made flesh)will judge our hearts.
....the Words that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. John 12:48
The idols (gods)of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men's hand's. Psalm 135:14,18.
Our life is to be patterned after our Lord Jesus Christ and not after the traditions of men or men. And not after our own hearts desires.
Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Exodus 20:1-6 ( read )
Think about what the Bible says about the names of the One True God of Heaven and earth.
Genesis 3:13,14 - And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.
Isaiah 9:6 - For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Psalm 83:18 - That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.
John 1:1,14 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God...And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Luke 1:31-33 - And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
Revelation 19: 13,16 - And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God....And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
It was known to the writer of Ecclesiastes how this world had ended in the first timeline. In Ecclesiastes Chapter 12, it illustrates the time of trouble when the sun, moon, and stars will be veiled by the violent ejection of dust and thick smoke from a huge caldera (see Ecclesiastes 12:2 and Revelation 6:12; 9:2). A great star (comet of Revelation 8:10; 9:1) is likened to an eagle (see Ecclesiastes 12:4; Isaiah 46:11). When the ravenous bird (comet) enters Earths atmosphere, it causes a great sound of thunder. Its voice cries out like a thundering trumpet (see Ecclesiastes 12:4; Isaiah 27:13; Zechariah 9:14; Revelation
11:15). The voice heralds the time of the latter-day literal and figurative resurrection for the latter-day righteous who believed this new doctrine (see Ecclesiastes 12:4; Daniel 12:1; Hosea 6:2; Revelation 11:11-13).
Isaiah was also told how our world will end. In Isaiah 13:6, it states that the day of the Lord (who personifies a comet) is at hand. At that time, the light of the sun, moon, and stars will be veiled when dust and smoke explode from a huge volcanos crater (see Isaiah 13:10). These prophecies were written over two thousand years ago. Gods written word is able to declare what is going to take place in the last generation because God (personifying each scroll that records and plays over each generation) has seen the end already take place in the first timeline (see Isaiah 46:10). The same catastrophic event of a great stars (personified as the return of God) impact which causes an immense volcano to explode and release dust, smoke, hot ash, and then lava is written in the writings of the prophets. However, the written prophecies in the Old Testament, which are to be fulfilled in our day, are written as if they could have happened during events that took place in each prophets generation.
With this in mind when reading the Old Testament prophecies, take into consideration that the past types are mixed-in with future, yet to be fulfilled, prophecies (see Job 14:12, 13; Psalm 18:7-9; Ecclesiastes 12:2-5; Isaiah 24:17-23; Jeremiah 4:23-28; Ezekiel 32:7, 8; Joel 2:1, 30-32; Amos 5:16-18; Micah 3:6; Nahum 1:3-6; Habakkuk 3:3-16; Zephaniah 1:14-18; Haggai 2:6; Zechariah 14:3, 4, 12; Malachi 4:1; Revelation 19:11, 20).
God has given this Revelation to mankind so wknow what will happen before JESUS comes back. Revelation 19: Is where JESUS comes back.
SORRY MY FRIEND, BUT THIS IS NOT WHEN OUR LORD COMES BACK - OUR LORD COMES AFTER HIS BRIDE IN CHAPTER 4-VERSE #1 - THIS IS WHEN OUR LORD RETURNS FOR HIS BRIDE!
