This reminds me of Matt 7:21,22
This reveals the utter deceitfulness of sin, that Satan has no lack of power to deceive 2Thess 2:9,10
He even has such power to call fire down from heaven. Rev 13:11-16 this is describing false Christianity, listen to what the Scriptures reveal, Rev 13:11 had an image like a lamb, but spoke like a dragon. Teaching that one can be a Christian & know God & continue in sin for life, despite the testimony of Christ, John 8:24, 1John 3:6
Then we have Hebrews 10:26-29; the whole context of these Scriptures here is " sinning is past tense, over, done away with."
They pray, but they regard; Psalms 66:18; in light of the above Scriptures, who do you thing is answering their prayers?

Folks, I speak as one concern, I found that in life motions one can be caught up in doing this or that, the swiftness in which life is pasting by, & the world continually drawing us to it concerns, one doesn't stop & truly consider what Holy Spirit plainly states in the Scriptures or why they have not experience it,
Churches are teaching contrary to Scriptures, all are singing a lullaby; cause everybody else is doing it, some more some less, status quo, so it must be true? NOT ! 1Thessalonians 4:7
When God is not answering our prayers there are a couple of things that might be going on. First, we are likely asking amiss, meaning we are asking outside of God's will. We are asking within our own will. James 4:3 says Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
God's ways are higher than our ways and God's thoughts are higher than our thoughts. We are finite and cannot see the entire picture but God can!
Secondly, we can hinder our prayer life with unconfessed sins. Psalms 66:18 says If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:
Isaiah 59:2 says But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.
These are two reasons that prayers are not answered...The first is in my opinion more often than the latter...
Another reason is...it is simply just not time yet! We always have to remember everything is in God's perfect timing! Not in our timing as I said previously, we cannot see the whole picture but God can!
So continue to pray and ask the Holy Ghost to lead you in your prayers or maybe just simply ask if your prayer is really within God's will.
God's unanswered prayers are sometimes His greatest blessings!

The vessel (our body of flesh will return to dust, at the harvesting of the new (SPIRIT) man), the new man (CHRIST IN YOU) will BECOME ONE (be married) to CHRIST.
Ephesians 4:4 There is ONE BODY (CHRIST), and ONE SPIRIT (the FATHER) ( John 17:21).
What CHRIST has always been, the SON of GOD, you will be.
Seek you first the Kingdom of God (created by the birth of truth and life) and all these things (comforts of life) will be added to you ( 1 Corinthians 4:7).
Hi Larry , it depends on what you call comforts . I have everything I need , food warmth shelter clothing and a nice husband . Try to make the Truth your greatest comfort , your Bible , your relationship with God and with Jesus and with your brother's and sisters in Christ . Take comfort in all the ways you can help others ,Christians and none Christians also . Be comforted most of all by the love that God and Jesus show you every day in a million different ways . Make the things that pertain to the Everlasting God , the Holy One of Israel your treasure because where your treasure is that is where your heart is also .
I do not know your situation, sometimes we can go through some pretty lousy times, that is hard to for us see an out. It can look so dark we cannot see any light. Let me assure you there is light out there if we hold fast to our faith. Start with prayer, ( Psalms 66:20) Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me.
Matthew 6 is a good chapter, if we strive to live in this way the Spirit of Christ will lift us up and give us the strength to get through. Preachers who forbid inter-racial marriages would usually have to quote the Old Testament, where God forbad Israel from doing so (e.g. Deuteronomy 7:3, Joshua 23:12, & many others). This was given expressly to prevent the 'purity' of God's people from becoming tainted with the spiritual harlotry of the heathen around them. Conversely, the prophet Hosea was instructed to marry a promiscuous woman, Gomer, we understand from another nation, for the purposes of giving Israel a vivid example to the extent of their unfaithfulness & debauchery. So, it was never seen that Israel was to have anything to do with the heathen around them, whether in business or marriage.
Then comes Jesus & His Cross. The Cross not only became God's implement to provide a sinner destined for eternal punishment, a way out & into the Arms of a Merciful God, but also brought together all peoples, of every nation, tribe & tongue, into that one Body, which is Christ. The Apostle Paul says it well here: "For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus...There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus."( Galatians 3:26-28). That is, those who have come through Jesus' Cross & have been born again of His Spirit, are now one family, regardless of nationality, gender or anything else. I understand that we have God's permission to marry whomever we wish, but only those "in the Lord".
The care however that a believer should take in this regard, is for finding the partner in life who has similar goals & direction in life & who truly keeps the Lord as the preeminent One in their lives, in their thoughts & decisions. Disunity here can lead to unnecessary turmoils further down the road. Our common love for our intended spouse & for the Lord Who saved us, ought to be the criterion for our decision to marry someone, rather than using their skin colour, appearance or background as the criteria.
I need it very well explained to me about what the Bible says about interracial marriages. Some preachers say it is wrong some say it is not. But from what I read, in the King James Version, it is wrong to mix. Please help to understand this.

Mishael, yesterday I sensed that you may have needed an extra measure of the Lord's special Touch. I hoped it may have been just busy-ness at this time of the year, but felt a special bearing up was needed before the Throne of Grace. I know you spend many quiet moments at the Saviour's side & was confident that you were not withheld from His Touch upon your life. Blessings & strength upon you as you feed on that Living Bread.
In 1 Kings 19:12, we read: "And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice." "Still small voice" = a sound of gentle, soft stillness.
We see Elijah in great conflict of soul: he was on fire over the horrible spiritual condition of Israel as well as for his own life being cut short, as Jezebel sought to kill him (v 10). Elijah was in mental & emotional turmoil & was running away in fear, considering his own desperate situation in self-pity, rather than seeking the Lord Who was able to deliver him. And often we find ourselves in the same predicament, when we wallow in self-pity & not immediately call upon the Lord for strength & wisdom.
So, the Lord demonstrated to Elijah how insignificant he was & his problems were, when compared to the power of the Almighty. The mighty wind & earthquake should have jolted Elijah to Whom he was really dealing with. And after all that noise & destruction, came a 'sound of gentle stillness'. It was in that sound, that the Lord chose to speak with Elijah, "What are you doing here, Elijah?" I think that it was a much more subdued Elijah who spoke (in v 14), when the Lord, in quietness, told him what he needed to do (v 15 onwards).
As Christians, even in the midst of inner turmoil that might overtake us, if we take the time to listen out for God's quiet voice (by His Spirit), it will certainly come to us direct to our spirit, teaching us & comforting us concerning the matters we face. When we grow & mature in Christ, then whenever we get into conflict, we've learnt to run into the comfort & help from the Lord. The Psalmist learned this ( Psalm 121), that help, any help in conflict, can only come from the Creator of the World & us.

I know God/Jesus wants fellowship with us, Christians struggle & God works all things for good. When you say that you feel God in my spirit, Is it like a voice coming from within your chest ? I experienced that once, but when I told my pastor & he told me to just ignore it & now I feel like I'm going crazy. I know God knows our heart & if we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins & cleanse us from all unrighteousness, but Psalms 66:18 says - If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear [me] and Isaiah 59:2 says - But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid [his] face from you, that he will not hear. I am struggling with unforgiveness, so I don't think that God hears me. The church I go to all read the KJV Bible, but I don't always agree with the pastors interpretation of it & they don't believe that the spiritual gifts are for everyone & say that they were only for the disciples & that if we all have the gifts then we should all be able to walk on water & heal the sick. Mark 16.17-18 says - And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Nobody speaks in tongues at this church, but a lot did at my old church.
