Teresa, baptism is an outward sign of an inward change. First confess the fact that without Jesus you cannot make it to heaven and then trust in what He did on the cross. salvation is about trusting the finished work of Jesus on the cross. After you trust Jesus pray for God t guide you He will send someone to you to help you. I will be praying for you and God bless you

To Teresa, by reading your bible every day shows you're Truly seeking GOD. Just a suggestion don't allow people to distract you.
Attend church and praying as you search for a church home is most important. Get connected to a church family and a Pastor ask God to show you the way and he will. Believe that you'll found the right Pastor and the right church.
    PrayingπŸ™πŸ™πŸ™ for you.
    LoveπŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•

When One is Saved, They're Washed in His Blood ( Revelation 1:5)Then The Holy Ghost Moves in( Mark 1:8) If Anyone be in Christ, They're a New Creature---All Things are Become New ( 2Corinthians 5:17) You Will be Changed, Impossible not to Know. The Holy Ghost Will Teach You All Things(14:26) You have no Need That Anyone Teach You( 1John 2:27) He Will Teach You as You Read His Word and Tell Others.

I read from the bible every day, but I do not go to church. I try to do what is right, but I am uncomfortable around strangers. I have never been baptized but I have been saved. I want to go to heaven, what do I do

Daughter of Sion (1month ago) re: This is my mantra as I battle with depressive episode....

I pray God restore you. He is omnipotent power, omnipresent in your heart. Omniscient knows all your cares. He said resist depressive thoughts they WILL flee. Look closer, He is not "out there" but on your lips. Tell the devil to flee, he must greater is He that is in you not "out there" God is in you.

  • Cherilyn on Psalms 51 - 6 years ago
Psalms is a book that helped me to accept that I'am a sinner that will need to call on the father everyday, because I can't survive this life in my own strength. This is why I choose to look to and acknowledge GOD daily...
  • Cheryl on Psalms 51 - 6 years ago
Psalm 51 represents not only the prayer of a sinner but repentance. Therefore I would not say that I love this Psalm, despite the fact that we have all sinned and come short of the glory of God. What I will say is that Psalm 51 is a very powerful Psalm and a necessary one. I believe that was the first Psalm I can recite. The word of God says resist the devil and he shall flee from you...

    Daughter of Sion,
Christ lives within us. The mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is CHRIST IN YOU, the hope of glory. Colossians 1:26-27 (I pray that the LORD relieve you of your depressive episode, in Jesus name amen)

10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

This is my mantra as I battle with depressive episodes. I know you are out there God.

It reminds me daily just how great Gods love is, 17: The sacrifice of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, oh God thou will not desipes. We all have sin, an when we call upon the Father with pure heart, he wont desert us, Amen!

This psalm is near to my heart because it is the only offense David had committed. God testifying of him said that David was a man after his own heart and perfect towards him save for the offense with Bathsheba. This psalm is for a righteous man that has endeavored with all his heart to keep the faith but due to a lack of watching stumbled in the way. God's mercy is able to uphold such a one.
  • Hannah on Psalms 51 - 6 years ago
God is so good to us... we sin and mess up time after time, and yet He still loves us and, once we confess, sees only the blood of Christ covering us, not the scars and marks of all our sin. How could we not love Him? He is so much better than we deserve!
  • Solomon Jones on Psalms 51 - 6 years ago
I have always regarded myself as another disobedient David who God has given a second chance so I always read this chapter to remind me of the contract between God and sinful me.
  • Dwayne on Psalms 51 - 6 years ago
We have all sinned and come short of the glory of God. Praise God for his amazing GRACE. For without His grace we are lost in our sins. May God bless each of us to over come the sin in our lives and live for HIM.
  • A disciple on Psalms 51 - 6 years ago
Dear Freda; How do you want to receive this broken heart? and what do you think will best work to give you a contrite spirit? In David's experience, like many of us since then; it was ugly terrible foul sinning without a cause against a good a wonderfully generous God; and the bitter tears of repentance. The troubled part of our life afterwards is filled with treachery and betrayal and sorrow.
  • Freda Acheampong on Psalms 51 - 6 years ago

I am praying for you, Teresa and I agree, you need to talk to someone about this. For your own sake, you need to put yourself first right now. I will keep you in my prayers, and ask the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit to watch over you.
