It 'because You God, I,m still alive. Without You I may in dry land.Looking for water to satisfying my emotional needs. Who else God can supply my needs if it is not You.I 'm still alive and nourish because Your present in my life.Once I was dead.I can move now because of Your salvation spirit.I know You can bring my soul with You one day.
For many saints and servants of God in our day, their so called Christian experience is pitifully characterized by shallowness, hollowness, and emptiness. This miserable spiritual existence has left their soul in much the same condition as a hunted animal Ps. 42 , a dehydrated body Ps. 63 , or a parched wasteland Ps. 143 . Instead of thriving they are only surviving with just a limited awareness of God at work in or through their life. In his classic book, The Pursuit of God, A.W. Tozer said it so well, The world is perishing for lack of the knowledge of God and the Church is famishing for want of His presence. cr. Tom Palmer Thirsting for God
Many times in life we may feel discouraged, but there is a place we can go. David had this kind of day when he wrote this scripture. He had to talk to himself and say you need to trust God. he reminded himself to put his future in God 's hands. What has you down? It may be a doctor 's report, job loss, divorce, child on drugs, family problems, death of loved one, senseless evil or attack against you. If you can turn your eyes on the Lord and see His salvation your heart will be filled with a new hope for living!
My simple thought of the chapter 42 of Psalms is that this is strongly speaking of Israel and how through history they seek the Lord and the desires to be sought by all His children. Shalom

I enjoy the comments on this 42 psalms I understand that god is not moved by our tears cause anyone can cry but may not have faith or trust in God. Now I understand by reading one of the comments.
i have only one way to check myself in my daily walk with him. if my living God all glory be to Jesus Christ the true and only light of the world does not get all the glory in my life then i miss the mark.

Why are you crushed oh my soul? Why are you disquieted in me? Hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise Him. Who is the health of my countenance, and my God. No matter what the trial, God gives us hope, help, and healing. So rather than being depressed, praise God, just as the deer pants after the water brooks, so we must pant after God, the living God. Jesus said because I live, ye shall live also. The thief comes to steal, kill, and to destroy, but Christ comes that we may have life, and that more abundantly.
I came across this today and it really touched me. Thank you for this site and for your Godly ways and beliefs. May God bless each and every one of you.
The "WORD" says as the deer must have water to live; so we must have GOD, THE FATHER, to live. Acts 17:28, For in Him we live, and move, and have our being.
During my readings this morning I was convicted to memorize Psalm 42. I read from a new translation arranged in daily readings to take me through the Bible in a year, but when I want to memorize Scripture, I like to use the King James Version. Since I couldn't find one today and wanted to begin memorizing right away, I came to your website. Thank you for providing this easy access to specific parts of God's Word in the KJV.
