Prophesy on Judas Iscariot39s Betrayal Against Jesus on Revelation 4 - 4 years ago
Acts 1:10-20
This took place in a Upper Room. A prophesy Peter found about Judas Iscariot is discussed by the disciples. They are about to appoint a new 12th disciple.
I believe the Holy Spirit showed Peter of the prophesies about Judas Iscariot's betrayal. Jesus knew of the prophesy; He's God. It would explain lack of closeness with Judas.
The Commentary Page on this website says the prophesy is about Judas Iscariot.
This is one of those studies that you have to read at a snails pace, all of the center column references to get a clearer picture of prophesy with present circumstances.
I'm going to list the passages and let the scholars in here piece it together with Holy Spirit, our Helper: helping us rightly divide the Word of Truth.
Acts 1: 10:20
John 18:3
Matthew 26:55-56
Psalms 41:9, 55:23 (The Prophesy)
Isaiah 53:7 (Ch 53 all about Jesus)
Daniel 9:26
Lamentations 4:20
Leviticus 25:15
Deuteronomy 16:9
*when you Google on Judas; just use his last name & it'll get you to the right Judas.
Last I quoted from Zech. Ch. 11 about the Raider emblem rep me, says he will eat the fat of the land, and tear their claws in pieces. I've quoted on record to someone about myself being the one. Only here, in Ps. 41, I'm depicted as concerning the poor, which I've done by not focusing in making an income with some exception, not to mention my going bankrupt, and sadly to take my fathers life at the breast of Ps.55:19 20 . I want also to show what is said of my consideration. It says in vs. 3 "The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness." I need a quick recognitiion by the Raiders change of plan, to bring attention to my cause.Y.R.!
It sounds you're interpreting Matthew 6:13 as God being the one tempting you, but that isn't the case. It says 'lead us not', it doesn't say 'tempt us not'. God can lead or offer a direction for you, but its up to you using your freewill to choose it. This prayer by Jesus is asking God not to lead us down a path where Satan may tempt us. This is not a translation error as you suggest.
Adam I do agree with your understanding of James1:13 God tells us He does not lead any of us into Temptation but by the wording in The Lords Prayer Matt6:9 Jesus is telling us to ask God not to lead us into TemptationV9 So why the Contridiction it must be someones Translation error Jesus would not tell us to Pray for what God tells us is not True. My Heart agrees and no doubt yours does too Adam
I'm not yet understanding what you think is the contradiction. James 1:13 says God doesn't tempt people to do evil, nor can God be tempted to do evil Himself. The other is Jesus giving an example prayer to deliver us away from the temptation, which is from Satan. Can you please explain in more detail why you think this is a contradiction?
It is more blessed to GIVE tribute due unto GOD than to receive the love of money which draweth men into perdition. It is written, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money. For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.
I can only agree with GOD, my Holy Father. There is no greater love than Christ laying down his life for his friends. Ye know Christ is come but confess not. Thy envious desire is for men to never repent: that the body of Christ is separated from the head, who is the very Christ. Yet, that man's repentance shall be thy end O Wicked MAN. It is written, For the love of money is the root of all evil:
Because it seems to be a Contradiction Adam, I'm sure Jesus would not tell us to say what His Father tells us not to say..... Matthew6:13 And lead us Not into Temptation..... James1:13 Let No Man say when he is Tempted I am Tempted of God.....So is it a Translation error Adam or am I misunderstanding it's wording ?
Adam I would appreciate your view on the Sciptures below, God has shown me Translation errors in the KJV but they were not to deceive like Cult Versions and some other well known Bibles not yet reconized by many as having Cult deception in them too. In The Lord's Prayer we ask God not to lead us into Temptation but God tells us not to say He does in Jas1:13 should it say Keep us from it Mt26:41.
Gods Blessings Come from His Heart of Love - In Reply on Psalms 41 - 4 years ago
I agree with you Adam and Eric it's more Blessed to Give than receive Ac 20:35 Organizations are using Money to Control People and even some Christian ones are focusing on money more than on God who Loves a Cheerful Giver not one made to feel they have to give. He tells us not to beg His Work done in His Way never Lacks His Supply He knows our Needs we Pray and Receive His good Blessings for us.
Blessings in Knowing God'sTruth - In Reply on Psalms 41 - 4 years ago
Iam, To know God's Good Will for us and His Truth we Trust Him and do what He tells us in Scripture. We need His Wisdom Prov4:7 we weren't Born with it we all lack it James1:5-8 We are told to Ask, Seek and Knock in Lk10:11-13 and when we ask in agreement with God's Good Will for us including for The Holy Spirit we will Receive them and we will know God's Truth and His Heart of Love for us 1Cor2.
If thy sayings come not from God himself, of whom do they come, thine own self? I can of mine own self do nothing: lest mine own judgment be found to be unjust. It is written, God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Has in these last days spoken unto us by HIS Son, whom he has appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds:
Yea, ye agree O rebellious house. Yet thy agreement with hell shall not stand. Verily, I tell ye, my Holy Father sent me not to fund that man's pride, enticing men to continue following thy pernicious ways into hellfire. It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them.
Do think it's more Biblical to hoard money instead of helping someone with it when possible? This isn't instead of helping people other ways too, but in addition. I agree with Eric's comment.
Remember this Holiday- Emotions are infectious. If you are blue, you will make those around you feel the same way. If you are stressed, your tension will spread like the tide. But a smile, a cheerful word, a kind look, a laugh, a warm embrace, an uplifting conversation- - those are gifts that go right to the heart and spread the true meaning of Christmas. LOVE!!!
Nay. My Holy Father teaches me that the love of God is Christ the Saviour, not money. Much money or no money is neither rich nor poor or else Satan appears as many rich and many poor. Let the proud man repent, and then consider the poor. It is written, Blessed ARE the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. and, Hereby perceive we the love OF GOD, because he laid down his life for us:
Ultimate of surprise is doing the unexpected. That can only come from our Holy Father. Being helpful to others in need or sickly giving your finances- when God gave you a chance to follow a long lost dream you always wanted. Giving up your way of living- to help someone see how precious they truly are after others misused them. For God wants us to show His Love through us to others. What a joy!!!
I believe true happiness is having the means to help out and actually following through with it. If you're doing well and have the money to spare, take care of somebody by giving to someone in need. Choose somebody who would be as righteous as yourself if given the chance. The reward is seeing them grow and follow your lead!
Abriel: Yes. Our God Shall Supply All Your Needs according to His Riches in Glory by Christ Jesus( Philippians 4:19) The Lost People Need Our Help. First,Take Care of Their Need. Maybe their Hungry, need Better Clothing. Then We can Tell them How to be Saved. Always have 1 or more with You when You Help Others. Never by Your Self. We don't have to Really Beg, Just let Him Know Your Need.
I avoid Giving Money to Anyone as much as Possible.I will Buy them Clothing, food, Gas,Electric,Never Money. They Use the Money for Cigarettes,Drugs,Alcohol or Other ungodly Things/The True Riches are in His Word. This is what They Need Most.Tell Them The Way of Salvation By The Blood of The Lamb. That's More Valuable than All the Money in The World.
AS I READ THIS PSALM I AM WONDERING ASKING GOD TO SHOW ME WHO CAN I HELP? (AM NOT BRAGGING SOMETIMES I WILL GIVE A PERSON RANDOMLY SOME MONEY,MY CIRCUMSTANCES ARE LIMITED, I WOULD DO MORE, AS GOD PROVIDES,I DONT SEEK PEOPLE OUT,I AM POOR ENOUGH MYSELF,PERHAPS GOD WILL CHANGE ALL THAT,
There was an Old Testament prophesy about the event. Judas fulfilled it.
Psalms 41:9 Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.
