lifter of mine head, yeah that was a wonderful description of heads and spirits held high, by the Greatest! interesting reading in this format, however, I was looking for a bible to hold today in my house and well had to resort to on line version. sad but true sometimes in our busy world/lives, but praise be shown in all circumstances, for my lord is in control. will relocate The Word in my home and all my way to be lifted and directed by him.

This was a message for me

JESUS IS ON THE MAIN LINE TELL HIM WHAT YOU WANT. HE NEVER SLUNDER OR SLEEP JUST CALL HIM UP

I just read psalms 21 and the comments people made. One lady said she opened the Bible and read from what she opened and it was exactly what was going on in her life. I started reading from Psalms a few weeks ago in order from chapter 1. I pushed 2 but I gt 21. I read the Psalm n comments and went back to 3 so I was in order and it was exactly what was going on in my life! Times are hard and when your down and weak the devil will tempt you!! Stay true to his words and trust that God will help you! He sent his only son to die for all of us. So I say I'm going to try and live for Jesus Christ;my Lord and savior! Thank you God for caring for a sinner such as I!! Amen. Poraise God!!!!

Who ever puts their trust in the Lord will never be ashamed.

The Lord said IT IS UP TO YOU IF YOU ARE GOING TO BE BLESSED.

One of the great names of our God is "the lifter up of mine head." What a glorious thing! (Why art thou cast down oh my soul?) Even the everlasting gates lift up their heads! The Christian may slumber, but he or she must not slouch or skulk about. Precisely because we remain humble before our Maker and Friend, we go out into the world with our shoulders back and our heads held high. In the face of all that is dismal and diabolical and destructive, we hold our heads high. We "lift up our eyes unto the hills..." Every true child of the Most High God must learn in the heart of hearts the difference between the worlds contrived "self-esteem" (read self worship) and the devout person's self-respect. Whatever your situation today, the LORD says to you, "Look unto me all ye ends of the earth, and be saved." It is in this constant and defiant act of looking unto the LORD that our heads our lifted up by him.

Testing time is the time to know those that really trust and believe what God is, represent and can do. It is a time those that knows God do increase their faith.

thats what i need now,help from god

A dear friend died tragically in a car crash (21/9/11). I was devastated and questioned why would God take away this strong christian man at this time... I am greatly comforted by this psalm understanding more that God in His infinite wisdom will comfort us in time of sorrow but will weep no more because He gives us a brighter tomorrow. All of you who lost a dear one be comforted as we pray in earnest, His peace will come upon us to sustain us during these sad times...God bless you.

GOD PLS SAVE US FROM OUR ENEMIES

God's word is so awesome! I have been feeling really down lately with the circumstances of life. I read this Psalm and realized that so much of what I have been feeling have been attacks from the enemy of my soul. God encouraged me and made me realize that the battle belongs to Him, He will protect me and He has defeated the enemy. Wow! i feel so much better. Levita, God so spoke to me in what you posted...It is amazing how God in our lives makes us so different from those around us, even those very near us. I have prayed for you, and for you also Sue. God is Great!

I love the psalms, but today I decided to read psalms 3 and left me in shock. This whole day i've been down, but once i read this i felt like God was talking to me. i've been having a hard time with my cousin, half brother and half sister. They've been acting like the 12 brother's from the story of Joseph towards me.Their all in trouble with the law and are stressed.im not in problems instead(going to school and work) I was looking down but now i'm looking up and know that God intended for us to be with our head held high and that no one can touch us without God giving the authority.:"Bigger is he that is in me than he who is in the world"... Tomorrow marks 1 year since my brother's death and i know that God will put the peace. Please pray for peace in my family.Thankyou and God Bless

Medical conditions called for a high dose of steroids for a long period of time. Sleep deprivation set in affecting me physically and emotionally. After reading this chapter, I cried out to Him that night. I, like David, laid down and slept ... 5 hours straight ... it was truly God answering my prayer and blessing me! His Word IS a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.
