Regina, I am so sorry that you lost your son; but I am also so glad/happy that he and you also have faith and read this psalm. I read it over and over and i think it is my favourite psalm. i look it up and listen to it often. You will always miss him. He will always be a big part of you. I hope you the best; and may God be with you and him always. I am so sorry for your loss. Have faith. Love.
I would like to tell everyone who believe that there is God or not. Please use just only one minute of your time to read it and see the wonders of God. I read this scripture and God saved me from a car accident that was about to occur. It could cause me a very serious problem but I was saved.
My son "Matthew Paul Hamm" passed away on November 29th, 2016, he was 32 and as my heart is breaking I learned that Matthew was reading the bible and asking questions and praying with some older Christian men he had befriended, and that he found comfort in the passage of Psalms 23 this has brought me so much comfort and peace although I miss him dearly I know he is with God in Heaven an Angel.
its a powerful psalm that I always wish to read. A powerful psalm that most people did not know or take very important. It always remind me that God is always there for me if I obey and have faith in Him.
I love it. It gives me peace when i read it and i rember when my brother was dying in the hospital i had the greatest honor of reading it to him. I know he is not suffering any more
Psalm 23:1 "The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing." MY MY MY! NO MATTER WHAT IS GOING IN THE WORLD OR IN MY LIFE, I WILL LACK NOTHING CAUSE OF MY SHEPHERD! MY SHEPHERD LEADS ME AND GUIDES ME EVEN WHEN I AM STUBBORN AND HARD HEADED! CAUSE OF MY SHEPHERD I DON'T HAVE TO STRESS OVER TEMPORARY THINGS IN THIS TEMPORARY WORLD! THANK U LORD FOR BEING MY SHEPHERD EVERY DAY OF MY LIFE AND NOT JUST ON SUN
I have been looking for such a commentary on the King James version of 1611 for a long time. This interpretation is simple and makes the reading of the word that much more meaningful to me. Thank you.
I love to read Psalms 23. When I was a little child my mother would say this verses all the time around the house. She said it do much, i learn the words listen to her. She would tell me to recite this verse everyday. One of my favorite today.
Psalm 23...You are right, John. I discovered the reality of this "living" Scripture during a very low, intense struggle in my life "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil" Psalm 23:4We have the Lord's promise never to leave us nor forsake us Hebrews 13:5.
Its comforting to me knowing the Lord is there and he's always been there. Some people have to be in my life he's always been there sometimes we just don't realize and dig deep in our hearts you will find what you're looking for the Lord is always there you have to just want him into your heart. So many times in their life we were so caught up in the everyday grind if we don't stop to give thanks.
This is a beautiful psalms to me. Letting me know I am never alone and I can find peace and rest when I trust in God. That nothing I will go through in this life that I am well able to make it through because of the Shepherd. Thank you God for your words that have blessed your people in the past, present and future. Selah
Psalm 23,it's a beautiful verse. It's one of my favorites in the Bible. It gives me hope and assurance that I and my family, we are under His eye. My God will never forsake us. He is our Umbrella. The Lord is my Shepherd. What else do I want? That is the best gift. May the name of the Lord be praised for ever, amen!
Psalms 23 comforts me when I am afraid. When I miss my son in Heaven I always feel better saying or reading this scripture to myself out loud, to the Lord. When I am feeling afraid because my husband is sick and his life may be taken before mine, I know I must be strong and when I don't think I can handle anything else, I must find these words for the strength to go on. The Lord gives me hope.Amen
This prayer means so much to me my late husband would read this every morning before he would start his day and every night before we go to bed just to know how much this meant to Robert and to know that God is always there for us I hold this prayer so dear to me it's been 7 months since I loss my love to cancer 23 psalms gets me through so many days Thank you Lord for son
My dear mother and greatest cheerleader in my life suffered from Pick's Disease from her 60's until The Lord took her home at age 78. As her only daughter and caregiver seeing her through was such a hard journey for us both. Every night we (tried) to end the evening with Psalms 23 in The Old King James version and, although she could not communicate otherwise, she repeated this Psalms with me.
On Psalms 23.
It is the most beautiful passage in the Bible.
It shows that I an not alone and no matter what are the circumstances of life.
