Even with the wisdom of Solomon man can lose his way, focus on Jesus. We are children of the King, we must do HIS will and we are told why in HIS word. The Bible is our moral compass on how to live and who to live for. We must follow the instruction of the Holy Spirit and watch our thoughts, guarding our minds from being captive to what is negative. Allow the Holy Spirit to remain on the Throne!

Shelly, The 1611 King James translation, which took 7 years to translate is the tried Word of God. It may be profitable for you to diligently study Proverbs 1 again and Ecclesiasticus Chapter 30 in the Apocrypha. I think some of Proverbs was mistranslated. The part where it said spare not the rod and spoil the child. It should said say spare not the rod or method of correction or the child will be of no good. Some people misunderstand that. If you are a christian you will teach your child in the right manner. Some kids respond differently than others. That is why we have to be careful about the method.

Proverbs gives you the knowledge to help others understand why you believe what you do, behave the way you do, and gives you the strength to walk away for that which is not good for you.

Scripture is necessary for wisdom. If we dont read then how can we know how to live? Proverbs instruct all on how to live rightly in Gods eyes.

Proverbs 1 is a word of wisdom. Anyone that have lack let him ask of God. Wisdom is what we all need. We need to know when where, and how to use wisdom.

i recommend this very chapter for every child, teenagers and youths. the lessons here are enough to make them fulfil their destiny in life if well attended to and followed.

proverbs chapter one is one of the scriptures every Christian must be familiar with,it explains how good it is to have wisdom and again explains wisdom.

If we are obedient to the word of God and help our children to appreciate the truth that is written in His words, then no doubt we will have a fruitful generation. If we do otherwise we will have a lost generation.

It is a life saving power to see and know the clear cut truth of why how what went wrong in our lives and get you back on track to right way of livung...

This Proverb is spectacular if you are looking fo direction in your life, if you are looking for the right kind of wisdom or advice in something... This proverb also should motivate us to want to do better to get into heaven. This is also a great proverb because Solomon simply puts it as is there is no black or white when asking for wisdom from god his wisdom will not make you have a double-minded decision it is a simple and clear cut decision if you are seeking his wisdom

Chapter one should motivate the reader to continue to search and hunger for more, and apply it 's principals of life to his or her daily life. In this chapter one will notice the rewards of receiving and following the Godly instructions verses the results of rejecting God 's instructions for life.
