    My respond to Delories's Genesis Chapter 2 comment on 9/08/2013, 7:51am: In Matthew 3:7 and Mark 1:11 God said that Jesus is His beloved Son. In Isaiah 14:12 the one fallen from heaven was Lucifer, son of the morning. In Job 1:6 it's written that the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them. But it's not written there that Satan is among God's son. Now in Romans 8:14 it says, "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God". Therefore, God need not a wife and have sex like human beings to make children. In fact in Matthew 3:9 Jesus says, "And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham". So for God to create His own children is by spirit and not by flesh.

    The Holy Spirit is what we call a possessive adjective. There's only one way of saying a possessive adjective in the Old Testament times. The Spirit of the Lord. The Spirit of God. The spirit of Elijah. The day of the Lord. But, there are two ways of saying the same thing in the Greek, that is: the Spirit of the Lord or the Lord's spirit. The Spirit of God or God's spirit. The spirit of Elijah just Elijah's spirit. The day of the Lord or the Lord's Day. When it comes to gender there are two genders, masculine and feminine. There are there no neuter gender. However, in English, there are three genders. Let's look at a sripture. Matthew 16:18 "And I also say to you that you are Peter on this rock I will build my Church the forces of Hades will not overpower it." Most people are not able to read the Greek so I will call attention to a Spanish version. If you look into the equivalent Spanish version it will say in the last part of verse "y las puertas del Hades no prevaleceran contra ella." That means "The gates of Hell will not prevail against her." the same thing happens in the Greek. The church takes on a feminine ending.the The translators change all the feminine and masculine endings on any neuter gender that they knew were inanimate objects to "it." However, when they came to the Holy Spirit they left the gender the same and capitalize the word Holy Spirit. Luke 3:22 says, "John saw God's Spirit descending like a dove and resting up in Jesus." Matthew 3:11 says, "I baptize you with water but one who is more powerful than I is coming and he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit." You don't want to be baptized with a person but you want to be baptized with the power and your spiritual essence of that person: the spirit and power of Almighty God. Denounce the doctrine of the Trinity. It is false doctrine. It is polytheism. I have been to Bible College and was taught this doctrine of the Trinity, but the Bible does not teach it. So, I dumped it.

    The water is Jesus' baptism that fufill all rigteousness Matthew 3:15. The blood paid for our sins Romans 4:25; Hebrews 9:22. The spirit bears witness about it. Matt. 3:16. This is the bases for our salvation.

    Children, we must remember that people are watching our conduct, to see how we act, and, even they, might not be aware of there observation on us; cause our subconscious eats more, than our conscious does; So if we are claiming God in our lives; than we must, read, study, and know the word; than obey what it says, so that we faithfully walk uprightly before everyone, after God; For if we walk contrary to the word of God, than we give our allegiance over to the devil, and now become glorifiers of the devil, and not God. ... So we now have a higher responsibility to examine, and watch ourselves daily, that we walk upright at all times; till God comes up on us, and transforms us to become righteous effortlessly (WHICH IS WHEN WE BECOME TRULY BORN AGAIN) For John the baptist said in Matthew 3:11, " I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire.

    Lev, I believe it means that we must be willing to endure persecution. Romans 8:17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
    Matthew 20:22 But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.

    Sorry, part of the text was missing in my previous letter; Please, reply me on this one;

    I'm not native in English language, but still have a great desire to be able to understand each word, that belongs to Jesus Christ;
    My question would be:
    1 Corinthians 4:12 sentence ends like that ,,being persecuted, we suffer it"
    In this case, ,,suffer it" means - "to bear" right?

    I know, that "suffer" also means - "allow someone to do something" but, I think, "bear it to be so now" might be proper, also.

    Please, help me understand. .

    The problem is, each gospel that mentions this says all. Peter tells them in Acts 2 repent and be baptized everyone of you for the remission of sins, this salvation that is being required is a national salvation for Israel, that would have facilitated the immediate step into the tribulation period, and finally Jesus the Messiahs return to Israel as king. See Mark 1:5, and Acts 2:38, We cannot pass over Matthew 10:23; But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come. vs 22 sets post ascension period.

    @Erika,
    I can see how the Word of God can be a little confusing sometimes. That's why we must study. God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are one. John 1:1: "In the beginning was the Word, (meaning Jesus), and the Word was with God (Jesus was with God in the beginning), and the Word was God (meaning Jesus is God). How do we know that the Word we are referencing is Jesus; one might ask. Let's look at John 1:14, "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. We can say that Jesus is the fleshly part of God. There's so much to this, so you will have to read and grasp the full meaning of His word. Also Jesus is at the Father's right hand in heaven. Sorry I can't expound more because I too must study. I hope this helps.

    John was a famous teacher of his day, an ascetic monk who people wondered if he is the one who should come to save Israel. But he deferred to his cousin, Jesus, whom he knew as a child growing up. Then Jesus began his career along the coasts of Zabulon and Naphtali saying, "Repent, for the kingdom of God is at hand. I believe that this is your born again moment. To learn what repentance looks like, read Psalms 51.

    The first example in the gospels where God tells us directly that he and his son are NOT the same person! Not only does he say that Jesus is his "dearly loved" son, but we hear this from a voice from heaven. Jesus is not up there anymore, so who is that supposed to be!

    Remember that the baptism of John the Baptist is a baptism of introduction of the lord Jesus Christ as he is about to fulfill all righteousness as prophet, priest, and king. It was the custom of the Jews to baptize in coming kings and for the father of the king to state this is my son who I am well pleased.

    Verse 12: Whose fan is in his hand,.. The fan is the word of GOD BECAUSE IT DISCERNS THE THOUGHTS AND INTENTS OF MEN ( HEBREWS 4:2)AND JUDGES MEN'S EVIL WAYS ( Revelation 20:13). ...PURGE HIS FLOOR, -THE FLOOR IS THE EARTH AND ALL ITS CREATION, IN THIS CASE THE HUMAN BEINGS. IF THE FLOOR MENTIONED HERE IS THE CHURCH, THEN WHAT ABOUT UNBELIEVERS, SINCE THEY ARE GOING TO BE JUDGED TOO AND THEY ARE NOT PART OF THE CHURCH? THE WHEAT IS THE CHRISTIANS AND THE CHAFF STANDS FOR UNBELIVERS ( ROMANS 10:16). THE GARNER IS HEAVEN AND THE UNQUENCHABLE FIRE IS THE LAKE OF FIRE MADE FOR SATAN.

    I thank God for verse 11 that says I indeed baptize you with water unto repentant but he that cometh after me is mightier than I whose shoes I am not worthy to bear, he shall baptize you with the holy ghost and fire. There is big difference between water and holy ghost and fire, and John knew it, thats why he was so hungry for that of baptism of Jesus.

    John was a humble man that did not think so highly of him self. Even though he baptized others. But when ask by Jesus he did not think he was worthy enough to baptize him. But he let us know that there was one that cometh after him that would baptize you not with water but with the Holy Ghost and it would cleanes you from all your sins. Also when Jesus came to John to be baptized, he to did not think so highly of him self that he could not be baptized by John. Instead he let him know you are the one I choose to baptize me.

    John the Baptist; what a marvellous example of a witness for God to lay a straight path for Jesus
    Christ. To choose John as a prime example to preach,teach, and to spread the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Then Jesus being baptized and fulling scripture was the on the cake and sealed the deal. As Esaias prophecy in Is40:3; if you would read verses 4,5. it is a similitude of what
    you heart goes through. Every valley shall be exalted, and mountain be made low: what seems impossible for you God will help you. AS the bible reads in Matt6:33 Seek first the God and his kingdon and all these thing you pray for according his will it shall be done. We must seek God every day to guide you. As read in Rom5:14,20
    nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses. But
    not as the offense,so also is the free gift. The gift of life eternal through Jesus Christ washes us from our sins. As read in Is4:4 when the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion. If you allow Jesus to work his miracles. The results of it will be tremendous. As it reads in Matt3:17 The Lord will be well pleased in you.

    Thank you for your words of Wisdom. I believe we have a natural body and that "i" am my soul. I allow my soul to be cloathed with one of two spirits, the spirit of God or the other spirit. At any time in my life i am therefore serving one of the two spirits in everything that i do. However baptising with water (The word) is not as good as a righteouss deed, and the deed done within the body of Christ (The Church) is what i need to do in the hope of salvation. (Show deeds worthy of repentance - we are not already saved and can therefore live as we want - we need to work for others. God the Father = The Word, Jesus Christ = GOD the Father, GOD the son, GOD the holy ghost. (Ice water and steam all have the chemical formula H20) God The Father = The creator who brings "light" understanding,God the Son = when that word is put into a deed, and God the Holy Ghost the attitude, victory that is the result of the two ie Love, giving someone a present makes you feel Good we therefore say we are in good spirits.Thank you and may God Bless you.

    Mt 40.3 "For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight."
    Matthew 3:1-4 Is speaking about John the Baptist, and it is calling the prophecy by the reference on Is 40:3
    In the Bible I am reading the verse from the Gospel is identical but Is 40:3 goes like this:"The voice of the one crying: in the desert prepare the way of the Lord, make his paths straight."
    As you can see the notch is before "in the desert" and not after. This little thing makes a total difference in the meaning of the picture one can get of Joh the Baptist, and confuse the careful reader.
    For the record just because of this I made some research, and discovered that text from the Bible I am reading is right.
    I know the people who read the bible their whole life (the same Bible as I do) and this means nothing to them. When I read it for the first time I was confused because I saw the disagreement between the verse from the Gospel and its reference from Isaiah.
    If somebody judges me for this I forgive him.
    GOD BLESS YOU ALL
    P.S. MIKE if you are reading this you can see how I function and what struggle I fight with myself.

( Matthew 3:16-17) Here we see God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit; three, and yet, one God.

    In verse 11, I see it happening this way: John looks to the people waiting to be baptized and says,"He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost", then looks angrily at the Pharisees and Sadducees gathered to find fault with what John was doing and to them shouts, "and with FIRE!". Going to the lake of fire in Hell is a baptism of fire indeed! The baptism of fire was the self-chosen destiny of those who did NOT accept Jesus.
