Pastors who genuinely prosper a hundredfold now and use their wealth for the benefit of God 's Kingdom should not worry about persecution for it is written that the blessings will be accompanied by blessings.The persecutors are playing the role like that of Judas Iscariot and are heading for hell. Im not in anyway exonerating false and corrupt pastors.
from mark 10 46 52, I now know that Jesus always asks us what we want him to do for us. and am blessed to know that he wants us to mention what we want him to do for us. I pray for long life and life to see my children z children and see them through school. Amen.
All things are amazing with God. I was just married on the beach 2 nights ago and we were blessed with a breathtaking sunset. I know that was the Lord approving. Thank you Jesus.
God knows all things. There is nothing hidden from him. So, what man thinks it is impossible, with God all is possible because is thought and his ways are higher than our. His knowledge, wisdom and understanding is unlimited unlike us. So,there is nothing difficult for him to do.
This is very uplifting to me to know that JESUS is truly a healer, my father has acute leaukima i pray and ask JESUS to heal our father if Its JESUS WILL i will still praise HIM and seek JESUS from now until ETERNITY!!!!!!
This verse has always puzzled me ...I think the young man was addressing what he saw as another human being in Jesus when he called him "good teacher " similar to Plato or Aristotle... Jesus knew his heart and answered him as a human being...in fact if the young man knew he was talking to God, he certainly would have given up all he had to follow Jesus.
Jesus use the word "But " in Mark 10 6 in Matthew 19 4 And he answered and said unto them, Haave ye not read, that he wich made them at the beginning made them male and female, and that is the word of The Lord.Amen.
I believe the 31st verse is concerning the previous verses Peter was ready to leave all and follow Jesus to spread the good news of the Savior but they had much to leave behind family businesses etc the natural things and Jesus was just encouraging them that they would have even more a richer life a secure eternity and it might seem like a huge sacrifice but in reality they will be honored and a great reward would await them if they trusted and put spiritual ahead of natural least that s how I see it
Who are the first and who are the last Are the first now the rich successful and powerful Are the last now the poor dispossessed and powerless If they accept Jesus Christ as their saviour then even the last now can be first then in God s new kingdom on earth after Armageddon And the first now will be last then in the kingdom of God For it is written Mark 10 25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God Is this not so
We should accept the love we feel in our heart of hearts. Without trying to describe it. The inate sense of oneness, meaning that we are not alone, is a constant current educating us through instinct. If you aknowledge the love of God feeding your soul and leave it as such, then Heaven herself will open the gates to bliss.
just wondering what 2 do regarding getting divorced from husband who left more than 3 yrs now and has been with many women since.he returned back in town. I have not spoken to him, tho many others have, including Pastor who used 2 counsel us, and Pastor, as well as many others believe I should divorce him. I don't have desire 2 be with him, yet the covenant I made unto God is why I hesitate to take action!I wonder if I should or not. Any scriptures or thoughts?
Humans should not separate whatever God has joined together because God would never do what He did if it was not good for us. God Himself joined man and wife together for them to help each other in life and in reaching heaven one day. A direct assault to this teaching of Christ would be divorce because it literally means cutting in half the lifetime of marriage man and wife promised each other. This bond which God had tied is never to be untied.
to me it means no one on earth has the authority to divorce two people joined together by GOD, for as the scripture states the one who marries her will be committing adultery, if caught in the act of adultery, the word of GOD say `what sin is there that is unforgivable, only the blaspheming of the holy spirit, so if CHRIST forgave us our sins who are we then not to forgive those who trespass against us!
Whom God the Father has joined together let no man think he can put his wife away but he needs to remember for what is bound on earth is bound in heaven , a man and women in marriage are joint in a holy covenant before God the father weather you were married in a church or not if you are a believer you will not break God's covenant but work to keep it as all covenants made with God are holy and under God's law. Amen

I can't separate Mark 10:7 from Mark 10:8, they strongly belong together.... "...and the two become one flesh". The biology, physiology, and emotional and psychological bonding that God has designed into mankind is for a man and a woman to be married - one man, one woman, for life. My feelings or desires for multiple women or for a man in this intimate and life-long bonding relationship is restricted to one man and one woman for life, regardless of reproductive results. One flesh can imply child, but this same language is used in 1 Corinthians 6:16 with regard to having sex with a prostitute - ONE FLESH, and clearly a child is not the byproduct. As human beings, we must RESTRICT ourselves from all kinds of desires, wants, wishes, and urges. It is healthy and good. One flesh is all encompassing, involving the whole human being - not just our bodies but also our emotions, desires, heart, mind, and even dreams. We mess up with this, and we are simply in pain, confused, hurt, frustrated, and a bunch of other negative emotions; and we often deal with these things for much of our lives when we don't restrict ourselves to one man and one woman for life when it comes to sexual activity.
The rich young ruler called Jesus good. Jesus responds: There is none good but God. The point is: Since there is none good but God, if Jesus is good, then He must be God. There is no denying that Jesus is good. He does not just do good things, He is good. He is inherently good because of His deity. Because of this, had the rich young ruler fully believed who He was and trusted Him, he would have been willing to do anything Jesus asked him to do.
In order to get the proper meaning, one must consider two things:
1. The Greek words used in the text, as this passage was written in Greek, and
2. How this scripture corresponds to others, rather than making it stand on its own.
Due to the translation of the Greek word used, many Bible scholars choose to translate the latter part as "a God", or as "divine". This would support the rest of the Bible, both Old and New Testaments which refer to Jesus as having been created by God, serving as his only begotten son, and "the firstborn of all creation." Colossians 1:13-16. Jesus himself stated that "the Father is greater than I am." John 4:28. The scriptures as a whole support Jesus being the only-begotten son of God, sent here to make Gods name and Kingdom known, demonstrate the benefits of that Kingdom for humankind, and to provide a "ransom in exchange for many".- Matthew 20:28, Mark 10:45.
He loved him. He demonstrated that love for him by telling him what he must do in order to worship and become a disciple. The rich young ruler could have had vast satisfaction and blessing in obedience, but rather chose to be rich, how sad. He could have had great comfort in knowing he had forsaken all for The Master. Instead he doubtless lived a life of misery, never being satisfied with the wealth he loved more than his Savior.
Do we repeat this same mistake? Surely this man was a child of God for Jesus 'loved him'. Nevertheless, his selfishness hindered his joy in this time world.
If baptism isn't important to be saved then why does Christ say it is so often in the scriptures? Because it is very important. Mark 16:16 | Read whole chapter | See verse in context

You guys are entirely missing the point. Jesus is God. Him and the father are one. He is the express image of the father. The perfect imprint. The very icon of the father. Jesus in addressing the man, told him no one is good but God. Why? Look at the previous verse 17. This very man called him good teacher only because he witnessed his acts and not because he was convinced he was son of God. Jesus was trying to tell the man that one is good not because of only his outward act but also that he possesses the nature of God. There is a difference between right living and righteousness. You can only live right if you have the righteousness of God. The righteousness of God is the expression of the nature and will of God. Christ gave full expression to that. After all, its God that judges what is right and wrong. You have to know the will of God to know that. You can't just see a man and say he is good if you don't have the correct standard to judge by which is the will and nature of God. When you receive Christ, this is given to you as a gift. Only then can you rightly judge. Please study your bible very well. Spiritual things are foolishness to the natural man, 1 Corinth 2:14.
@Laoshang and Grant,
In verse 18:
1. Jesus is the son of God and he is God manifest in the flesh, read John;
2. God calls men throughout biblical history:
a. Man of God;
b. Friend;
c. One after my own heart; etc..
I do not recall God calling any man good. You need to look through the eyes God. We are all sinners in need of redemption and only Jesus deserves to be called good because he is the sinless lamb of God that taketh away the sins of the world.
@Grace,
On verse 11:
1. This statement is true under the law which at this time in history they were still under until the cross. Under grace in the church age the qualifications for divorce without spiritual consequences changes a little.
2. All things before salvation are forgiven by God and remembered no more;
3. Desertion in I Corinthians 7:10-15 is not held against the one who has been deserted.
