Please Lord Jesus continually strengthen Andrew with your Grace and Holy Spirit please Andrew in biblical scriptures to help with having peace and comfort!
Please consider reflecting on 1 Chronicles 4:9-10 and John 16:33 / Psalm 23: 3-4.
As a simple man, my understanding of faith is based on belief, trust, obedience, and thanksgiving, from our mind to our heart, a relationship offered by God through the sacrifice and resurrection of His Son Jesus, and the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Faith is a responsibility likened to marriage referred to many times in the bible. Our commitment and love are shown by our actions, which come from our hearts to our hands as in James 2:14-17 which is sometimes misunderstood as works for salvation.
This faith is a gift we have been given, its growth is dependent on how it is fed. Jesus said faith as small as a mustard seed can move a mountain, that shows how large it can grow in the word of God and prayer. We can sometimes hinder its growth as said in Col. 2:8 following the majority down the wide road when the truth is down the path that has grown up from the lack of traffic.
It will be tried, we have been told we will be tempted and will have tribulation in this world that many say we will be spared, John 16:33Acts 14:22, but that builds patience, James 1:3. We see we will need if we are here, we will need in the great tribulation Rev. 13:10.
The growth of our faith is to add "virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity' 2 Peter 1:4-8.
This may not be what you are looking for but just my thoughts.
Hi Steve. I see merits from both sides of the Calvin/Arminius coin, so the discussion could be very long even if dealing with the one point of Unconditional/Conditional Election. To state briefly the premise of each position:
a. Calvin: God's Choice of certain people to receive salvation before the foundation of the world, rested solely on His Own Sovereign Will. It was not based on any forseen response or obedience on their part. He chooses the sinner to be saved and not the sinner's choice of Christ.
b. Arminius: God's Choice of certain people to receive salvation before the foundation of the world, rested solely on His Foreseeing that they would respond to His Call. Election therefore, was determined by what man would do when presented with the Gospel. So salvation is given by the sinner's choice for Christ and not God's choice of the sinner.
If I were to agree wholly with the Calvin view, then it seems that there are many (very many) people brought into the world that simply have no hope of ever getting saved, even if the Gospel is presented & the challenge given.
On the other hand, the Arminius position appears to give too much responsibility to the sinner to decide whether he solely chooses to accept the salvation offered or not, without God having any part in it. This seems to leave out the work of the Holy Spirit when the Gospel is given out; the Spirit, when He comes, "will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment" ( John 16:8).
Therefore, my understanding on this aspect is: It is ultimately God's Sovereign Will that determines those who receive His Salvation (Calvin), but I don't agree that His Will has no part to play in the believers' responsibility (Arminius). If the Lord, "is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" ( 2 Peter 3:9), I understand this to mean that God wants all to be saved, but not all will be saved by their own choice - and God knows who they are.
Please Lord help Pamela and her dad that are dealing with heath issues and anxiety. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ that Pamela has peace through the Holy Spirit guidance through prayer and the bible, her dad doesn't suffer as a personal relationship with You Lord Jesus.
Please consider reflecting on this Bible scriptures: Isaiah 41:10-13, Psalm 46:1, Psalm 139: 1 Chronicles 4:9-10, John 16:33, Philippians 4:12-13, 2 Timothy 2:1.
Matthew 16, if you read the following chapter: Matthew 18, this should help you understand deeper,
note, Matthew 18:18-20,
the word bind & bound is- "deo" Greek, as per Strongs Exhaustive Concordance = to bind, be bound,
Loosed - "Luo" Greek, also in Strongs Exhaustive Concordance, = to loosen, break, destroy, dissolve,
Luke 13:16, this is a great example. It appears as believers, we have been given authority to make rulings, set free, etc. James 1:5, Mark 13:34, Matthew 28:18,19, John 16:23-28
It is imperative to maintain a balanced perspective of the Lord by scripture reading along with meditation and prayer. We should seek to obey the Lord because we love Him ( John 14:15). We need to pay attention to those associations we have; as many today have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof. ( 2 Tim. 3:5). We are to AVOID all those who would claim to be Christians but living in a LIFESTYLE of continuing sin. This would include those teaching in ministry who are hobnobbing to benefit their popularity or financial stance with those who are promoting compromised or heretical doctrine at their conferences. There is a difference between those in the world who are lost and those who are putting Christ to shame. The house of God these days has become a place where there is often more concern for how visitors feel rather than a place instilling the fear of God and sound doctrines. The Lord will vomit out those who are lukewarm in the Laodicean style churches. We need to be careful not to be using empty praises while our lives are far from the Holiness He demands.
Also according to 1 John we must love our brothers and sisters in the Body of Christ. ( 1 John 3:15). I find no need to name names; but we must be honest when those "heroes of the faith" that have written certain doctrines that we adhere to have lived less than exemplary lives. This is why it is dangerous to obsess on any teacher of the Word; Christian author or musician. Pride leads to a fall and we all need to be humble before God.
In saying all this; it is important that in loving God with all our being (1st Commandment) certainly our emotions should be affected; but that is always secondary to the Holy Spirit's truth. The primary purpose of the Spirit is shown in John 16:8 (conviction of sin; righteousness and judgment to come). Our hearts need to produce good fruit as He lives in us. Only a true believer can love being chastised to conform us in Him
Please Lord bring peace, spiritual encouragement and direction as her family suffering in family conflict. Please Holy Spirit enrich her with Your spirit gifts to be a light of Jesus Christ in these family adversities I pray in the name of Jesus Christ!
Please reflect on John 16:33 and Philippians 4:12-13.
How to pray & how to endure through crisis = Luke 22:40, Matthew 6, Luke 11, Romans 8:26-39,
Psalms 139, (remember the guy that wrote that, had to live in caves for a time, while fleeing unjust persecution,) Jesus himself had to encourage himself knowing while everyone else would abandon Him, GOD would not. John 16:32,33,
Mark 14:38, Mark 11:13-26, Luke 21:36, Hebrews 13:3,5,6,
Luke 18, John 14:16,
2Timothy 2:3, 2Timothy 4:5, Matthew 24:13, Romans 8:18,
Since you are saved and a born again Christian, what are you saved from?
Is Christ not the passover lamb of God?
Does not death pass over those covered by the blood?
John 5:24 ....he that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath EVERLASTING LIFE, and shall not come into condemnation, but is (present tense) passed from death into Life.
John 8:51 ......if a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.
Lukewarm Christians don't keep his sayings, his words.
Have you come to truth of what being born again is?
Philippians 2:13 For it is God (the life in you) that worketh IN YOU both TO WILL and TO DO his good pleasure.
Ezekiel 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and you shall keep my JUDGEMENTS, and do them.
John 16:8 And when he is come (Christ in you, the new creation) he will will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of JUDGEMENT.
John 16:11 Of JUDGEMENT because the prince of this world (lies and deception in you) is JUDGED.
Matthew 12:28 But if I (Christ in you) by the Spirit of God, cast out devils (lies and deception) the the kingdom of God has come unto you.
Philippians 2:13 For it is God (Christ in you) that worketh IN YOU both TO WILL and TO DO (his statutes and his judgements) his good pleasure.
1 John 3:9 Whosoever is BORN OR GOD (truth and life) doth not commit sin (It's Christ in you working both TO WILL and TO DO his statutes and his Judgements)
Most Christians want walk in this truth and that makes them lukewarm.
I think what is missing in all of this theological discussion is the personal role the Spirit of God plays with an individual believer.
1 Corinthians 3:16 states that we are the Temple of God now. Thus; as Colossians 2:9 states the "fullness of the Godhead bodily" showed how Christ was fully God and fully man; but also he had the "Spirit without measure". ( John 3:34). We as believers in the N.T. times since Christ's atonement go immediately to heaven after death (see Hebrews 9:27; 2 Cor. 5:8). We are "sealed with the Spirit" ( Eph. 1:13-14) from the moment we are saved (that is TRULY saved); hence the Spirit dwells in us (see John 14:23).
We can look at the Holy Spirit (or Holy Ghost) as the pneuma in some extent; or what is breathed into us from above much as the soul of man had life given to it when we are born the first time. God therefore rules over all and determines times and seasons; Christ is the 2nd member of the "Godhead" hence in accordance with God's plan became the sin offering for our redemption and thus was "given" all authority over heaven and earth ( Matthew 28:18-20).
When He humbled Himself a man; he trusted totally in the Spirit to do His miracles as an example for us to do the same. Clearly; there were certain things which are at least primarily limited to the Apostolic era. Nonetheless; we are told to "bear fruits worthy (meet) of repentance ( Matt. 3:8 and elsewhere). There are characteristics of a Spirit filled life; and also various gifts or manifestations given by God to every believer (see 1 Cor. 12). PRIMARILY; the Spirit of Christ brings forth to convict the world of "sin; righteousness and judgment to come." ( John 16:8-11). We know we are one of His children if we have a new heart ( Ezekiel 36:26); and of course if we trust God; obey Him and obey Him to the best of our ability. We desire God and the Spirit will convict us (he chastises all He loves). ( Heb. 12:6 etc).
I pray that you have a personal experience with the Lord
I believe these may be what you're looking for: 1John 3:22,23 in context 1John 3, Philippians 4:19, John 15, John 16:23-27, Matthew 6, Matthew 7:7-12, Matthew 18:19, Matthew 21:21-22, Luke 11:2-13,
John 16:12-14 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE WILL GUIDE YOU INTO ALL TRUTH: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: AND HE WILL SHEW YOU THINGS TO COME.
He shall glorify me: FOR HE SHALL RECEIVE OF MINE, AND SHALL SHEW IT UNTO YOU.
When Christ first came he came for the lost sheep of Israel, When they were commissioned by Jesus and "by revelation of the Spirit" they were to take the message to the world using the old testament uncovering the mystery that was later to be revealed.
Paul elaborates on this in Colossians 1:25-26 "Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;
Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:
Also;
Ephesians 3:9-11 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:
In acts when they received the Holyspirit they expounded from the old testament, Which was the promise to Abraham, Blessing to the Gentiles and the mystery of the Church.
These are the same scripture they had all along!
Truth is revealed to us in that same manner. By the Holyspirit.
Apart from the Holyspirit we can read the scripture all day everyday and never get to the debt of the meaning of scripture.
Also;
Christ "in us" gives us a new heart also causes us to walk as he did.
What ever is not done in the spirit is dead works.
Hiya Tom GBU.....A good question, this is my answer.....These 7 Spirits are what makes up God's being....As these 7 Spirits are refered to as the 7 candle sticks burning b/f his Throne Rev...5:4..And Zech 4 ..And are also refered to as 7 eyes and 7 horns sent forth into all the world in Rev. 5 :6.....And Rev...5:12 Seem to imply that God himself is made up of Spirit but this Spirit is also the same substance in the lamb....Power and Strength, Wisdom, Honor, Glory, and Blessings, Riches and of course a Kingdom HAVING 12 Gates made of a substance as Pearls and the street of it was as pure Gold...But Tom i donot believe that all this is literal....I think its all in the spiritual realm....As God is spirit ..Our Carnal minds cannot comprehend the awesomeness of Godliness...Spirit..Its beyond us....Till Christ will be born in his ppl...The son of man which is the H.G....That Child of Promise...The multiplication of Christ in humanity.....And in Rev 1:13 John said he saw 1 like the Son of man standing in the midst of the 7 candle sticks...Which are the 7 spirits of God...within the Father.. at least thats how i see it...k GBU Tom....Hopes this helps you in some way, in Jesus name i pray it does..In Rev 12:5... we see the birth of the H.G. The manchild which is the H.G...That is gonna rule all nations ...The Spirit of truth that Jesus has already told us of John 16:13 is gona reprove this whole world of sin and righteousness and Judgement....Now all this i think is literally gonna happen soon....k
The Godhead (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) are all of one essence-Divinity. This essence is the very Being and nature of God. This Oneness in nature is "what" God is and only God possesses this essence. As One being in essence, God exists in three distinct Persons who have will, intellect, emotions, a mind, an Who interact with one another within this one essence. This is the "Who" of God.
Although this Oneness is impossible for us to completely understand, as God is infinitely Divine and the Persons of the Godhead are inseparably unified within the Godhead. It is not that each Person of the Godhead has the same mind, will, or love for each that makes them One. It is that there is only One Divine essence, which is eternal, infinite, totally unique and unlike anything else. There is none other like Him, nor will there ever be anyone else like Him because everyone else is a created being and cannot acquire this divine essence. This essence (or nature) cannot be added to nor subtracted from. It cannot be communicated (given) to any other being. God alone possesses this nature.
Also, as Jesus said, The Father Himself are one and that He is in the Father and the Father is in Him. ( John 14:9-11) ( John 14:19-20) Jesus came forth from the Father t become Man ( John 16:28) even though the Father and Himself remained One concerning the Divine nature. The Holy Spirit come forth from the Father and the Son to abide within us, but He also remained One with the Father and the Son concerning the Divine Nature.
As human creatures we can admit that the Godhead is beyond human understanding because His essential Being is completely "other" than anything else. This is called His "transcendency" because His Being is beyond our ability to comprehend or even describe as human words cannot fully describe His Being, His Oneness, and being three distinct Persons in One Being. We know what He has revealed to humanity about Himself, but cannot totally understand Him.
Ephesians 4:4-6. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
GOD IS A SPIRIT: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. John 4:24.
I CAME FORTH FROM THE FATHER, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father. John 16:28.
No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, WHICH IS IN THE BOSOM OF THE FATHER, he hath declared him. John 1:18.
God is spirit, Jesus came forth from that Spirit, and we are baptized by that spirit.
John 17:22-23. ppAnd the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
QJohn 16:12-3 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:15-16. Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: To whom be glory for ever and ever. Grow in grace and true charity 1 Corinthians 13:1-13. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. The time is at hand. We will see more changes and mark this day. Watch carefully. Revelation 3:2-3. There is a spiritual message in Job 20:1-29. Be careful for nothing Philippians 4:6. Hebrews 10:31, but Revelation 21:8. I comfort you with these 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18. As you walk in the Spirit of God, Proverbs 23:4-5. Those who are in Spirit understand Psalm 90:10 read the whole chapter. Please Holy Spirit enrich Diane with Your spirit gifts that she will have a peace and comfort. Please I ask God to bring opportunities for support for Diane through a good bible base church that would encourage her and give her opportunities for stewardship and service for Your Glory I pray in the name of Jesus Christ!!
Please consider reflecting on the following scriptures:
But the Bible speaks of things to be revealed beyond what's written,
...for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. ( Revelation 19:7)
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. ( John 16:13)
But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. ( 1 Corinthians 2:10)
Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, ( 1 Cor. 14:39)
And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: ( Acts 2:18)
And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: ( Acts 2:17)
Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. ( Amos 3:7)
John 16:23, "And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you." The disciples of Jesus were continually with Him, talking with Him & asking questions - whether for knowledge or making personal requests. And Jesus dealt with those questions. But He was to leave them soon & they would no longer be able to speak with Him as they were doing now. So, He tells them to make their requests direct to the Father, asking in the Name of His Son. Does this mean that we can't speak to Jesus directly in our prayers? I believe we can, as we can also talk to and ask of God, even as Jesus directed His disciples. But what Jesus spoke to His disciples was giving them a Word of comfort & direction concerning their requests, that they could hereafter speak to God in His absence.
I think you're referring to the song with the first line, "I come to the garden alone." And possibly the lines, "And he walks with me - And he talks with me", that is causing you concern. You're right, Jesus is now seated at the right Hand of the Father in Heaven, but I know that by His Spirit (as is God's Spirit), He is with us and in us. Physically, Jesus is in Heaven (according to the Word), but His Spirit still lives in us to minister to us in every way. Does He then walk & talk with us? I believe so - as my relationship is to the Triune God & I have access to God through His Spirit. Then I should be able to converse with Him & enjoy His company as if He was right there beside me.
And why you have not heard sermons on the above, or even isolated references to them, I cannot say. But you can always make mention of these matters to your pastor/elder for clarification. Sometimes we hold these things in our hearts & stew over them, when often sharing them with our leaders & seeking their help, will bring us clarity & peace.
Hi GiGi. What you say is correct; God is an omnipresent God but I think that John 16:7,8 may help us here. If God sent forth His Spirit specifically as those verses suggest, then it would be safe to believe that God can take away, or even hold back His Spirit for His Own reasons. If the restrainer is the Holy Spirit & He is taken out of the way, then those who enjoy His infilling, must needs be taken too. But if the Spirit is only held back, then that might give weight to those who don't subscribe to an imminent rapture.
And then to add to this mystery, the other option that is also given, is the one who restrains is human government. In any case, Paul's readers seemed to have understood what Paul was referring to.
Jeff yes i believe there is a Population left on this earth after the 2 nd coming.... Revelation 11:15....The Kingdoms of this World have become the Kingdoms of our lord and his Christ and he shall reign for ever and ever.
......And Revelation 12:5 ....She brought forth a manchild that is gona rule ALL NATIONS with a rod of iron....Why wd God send this manchild which is the H.G....The Spirit of truth that Jesus tells us will reprove the WORLD of sin and righteousness and judgement...If God were gonna do away with this beautiful earth...(All Nations )... John 16:8 ....When he the spirit of truth is come he will reprove the world of sin and judgement and Righteousness...So this world has no end...It even mentions that God will destroy them that destroy this earth...In Rev. 11 :18
......In Rev. 14 :6 I saw another mighty Angel having the everlasting Gospel to preach to all that dwell on the earth...To every Nation, ppl, kindred, tongue....Saying give Glory to him that made the earth and the heaven and fountains of waters.
......Why wd God send this angel to preach the everlasting gospel to all that dwell on the earth...If there were no Population to preach to....And y wd God have to send this mighty Angel to preach the everlasting gospel to all that dwell on the earth if the Churches had the everlasting Gospel...Plz note the Kingdom of God does not come till the woman births the manchild which is the H.G...That Spirit of truth...The Children of PROMISE....Our new heart and new spirit...We have to birth a new innerman via his good seed the word And Jesus said that he wd abide with us forever...So there is gona be a great Population right here on this earth....Seed time and HARVEST FOREVER.
Dear "Abigail Watts" i see that you have not received a reply for several days. It is correct to understand that only adultery can justify remarriage. If it is important to a person. Now this applies to the husband.
Join me on a little journey in God's word. Jesus says several times that He is one with the Father, example John 17. Actually, you get your answer there. We are also one with Jesus through the Holy Spirit.
We have a Father God, (and a husband Jesus). So when we are unmarried, for example, when we meet Jesus we become one with Him as a spouse would become. And we become one with Him if we are married too.
Now it is the case that Jesus knows all our thoughts and needs of various kinds. Because He Himself has experienced things by being here on earth as a human, right? But the gifts we get by believing in Jesus, i.e. the Holy Spirit, will guide us to the whole truth. John 16:13 and mm. The Holy Spirit should be able to make us strong to stand against all evil, including carnal desire.
But to cut a long story short. Shall we say that the day we made the choice to follow Jesus we were married to Him. On that day we put away all sin, for sin shall have no more dominion over us. Romans 6:1-11
Because we have been born again into a sinless human being. Became a lover with Divine love and got to meet the Truth Himself, and receive all the good gifts Lord Jesus gives.
Now the question is? Are you standing in this first love. Yes, you will be because nothing should be able to separate us from God's love. Romans 8:35-39
We will always long for Him, have fellowship with Him whom we love, right? Revelation 2:1-7
I read the word that you refer to as adultery on all sides. The only one who can do right is the one who has become a simpleton. Or the person who has never married, he does not get carnal desire either. And that is good. In marriages of true love, there are never questions or accusations. Jesus will also be there He loves us, i loves u in Christ. John 19
The theme of "was; is and is to come" is seen in both Revelation 1:8 and 4:8. With the book of Revelation talking about the "Alpha and Omega" and describing the glorified Christ where John fell at His feet as though dead (1:17); not to mention the theme of His opening the seal judgments; being the sole victor at Armageddon; and ruling on earth it is inconceivable that some have actually suggested that Christ ISN'T the main theme of the whole book of Revelation.
The fate of every individual; whether taking the mark of the Beast or not; and of all who are saved or lost; what their judgments will be; and the absolute determination of the time and manner of judgments is determined by the Godhead alone; specifically the Father and Son. Only those who have the Spirit are those "wise who will understand". ( Daniel 12:10; to be read in context with the rest of the verse). God will indeed use the Tribulation to sanctify some; to do a quick work on the earth. But the unregenerate despite whatever facts that they have at their disposal curse God; and rebel against Him whether during the worst trial the world has ever seen ( Mark 13:19); as well as after the descendants of the survivors of the Tribulation into the Millennium who have the BEST world imaginable who follow Satan in the last rebellion.
The wicked truly will think they are doing God a favor in killing true believers ( John 16:2). We have seen these things before in history with martyrdom; but never at the scale and madness of the Tribulation. We need to see the intensity of that time as part of the great final harvest; a purification to finally wake up the nation of Israel (the one third who come to faith in Zech. 13:9) as well as bring in those of an uncountable number who hear the message of the 144,000 ( Rev. 7:9-17). The consummation of the ages brings His church back to rule and reign with Christ and then final judgment of the wicked. Then comes a sinless new heaven & earth.
In this chapter, the tabernacle is described in detail, from the curtains, to the pillars, to the hooks and fasteners, to the wood overlayed in gold or brass, to the brazen altar for sacrifice, to the roof of skins, to the veil before the Holy of Holies. There were a lot of specific measurements concerning the tabernacle. God was exacting in his requirements since the tabernacle was a representation of what was true in heaven.
For me, what stood out was the care that was taken about making the tabernacle enclosure somewhat impenetrable except when one went through the front entrance. There is only one way to the presence of God, that is through the body and blood of Jesus Christ, the door. No other way is possible to come into the presence of the Godhead.
Also, once inside the tabernacle, there was an outer court and an inner court which was curtained off. Inside this Holy of Holies was the ark where the presence of God was manifested to the high priest only, once a year. This reminds us that it is Jesus only who can stand before the Father, who dwells in impenetrable light. Jesus is worthy to stand before the Father and live, not us. He is the Mediator between God and man, He alone. No other being can reconcile us to God nor bring needs and prayers. Jesus is our intercessor before the Father. All of our prayers and requests go through Jesus to the Father. That is why Jesus told us that our requests will be answered by the Father in the name of Jesus. ( John 16:23) In Hebrews it says that because the curtain was torn in two between the Holy Place and the Holy of Holies, giving us entrance to the Presence of the Father, however the curtain is Jesus body, sacrificed on the cross for us. So, if we are ever to stand before the Father, it will always be with Jesus, not on our own, and it is because we are "in" Him that we can be brought into the Father's presence.
We shall see how this goes when we get to heaven and possess all of our inheritance.
It will be tried, we have been told we will be tempted and will have tribulation in this world that many say we will be spared, John 16:33 Acts 14:22, but that builds patience, James 1:3.
God bless,

Please consider reflecting on this Bible scriptures: Isaiah 41:10-13, Psalm 46:1, Psalm 139: 1 Chronicles 4:9-10, John 16:33, Philippians 4:12-13, 2 Timothy 2:1.
note, Matthew 18:18-20,
the word bind & bound is- "deo" Greek, as per Strongs Exhaustive Concordance = to bind, be bound,
Loosed - "Luo" Greek, also in Strongs Exhaustive Concordance, = to loosen, break, destroy, dissolve,
Luke 13:16, this is a great example. It appears as believers, we have been given authority to make rulings, set free, etc. James 1:5, Mark 13:34, Matthew 28:18,19, John 16:23-28
Hopefully these are helpful
Only a true believer can love being chastised to conform us in Him
1John 3, whole chapter, , John 15:12-26, Luke 6:22, 1Peter 4, John 16:1-16,
Examples of Christ to follow = John 16:32-33, John 3:17, Luke 23:23,33,34
James 4:1-4,
Please reflect on John 16:33 and Philippians 4:12-13.
But importantly please know it's Jesus & The Holy Spirit that intercede on our behalf, note Hebrews 1:14, Romans 8, Hebrews 7:22-26, John 16:23,27,
Psalms 139, (remember the guy that wrote that, had to live in caves for a time, while fleeing unjust persecution,) Jesus himself had to encourage himself knowing while everyone else would abandon Him, GOD would not. John 16:32,33,
Mark 14:38, Mark 11:13-26, Luke 21:36, Hebrews 13:3,5,6,
Luke 18, John 14:16,

Hopefully these help you
Since you are saved and a born again Christian, what are you saved from?
God bless you.
Betty:
You want your prayer to always be answer:
Matthew 6:9 After this manner always pray ye:
Matthew 6:10 ....THY WILL BE DONE....
Philippians 2:13 For it is God that worketh IN YOU both TO WILL and TO DO his good pleasure.
Colossians 2:27 ...this mystery .....Christ in you ....
1 Corinthians 12:27 ....ye are the BODY OF CHRIST .....
John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come (the life of Christ in you), he will guide you into all truth .....
God Bless you, the body or life and truth.
Thank you for sharing this, it was the Acts of Jesus and is today, as John recorded what Jesus told them would happen, John 16:7-15.
God bless,

Hopefully these are encouraging
Seeing, they see not, and hearing, they hear not.
John 9:39 ...for JUDGEMENT I am come to this world, that they which see not might see; and they which see might be made blind.
John 16:8 And when he is come (the Holy Ghost, Christ the second coming), he will reprove the world of SIN .....
John 16:9 Of SIN, because not on me (the words of Christ).
If creation would only believe God's words, and understand JUDGEMENT, and SIN, and the WRATH of God.
God has blessed you with his understanding, and his grace and his mercy, and a little child shall lead them.
Thanks for your reply.
Paul elaborates on this in Colossians 1:25-26 "Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;
Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:
Also;
Ephesians 3:9-11 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
Also;
Christ "in us" gives us a new heart also causes us to walk as he did.
What ever is not done in the spirit is dead works.
God bless.
God bless.
I would say the spirit.
Ephesians 4:4-6. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

Please consider reflecting on the following scriptures:
- Psalms 91,
- Psalms 139,
- Philippians 4
- James 5
- 2 Timothy 2
- John 16:33
- Psalms 23
...for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
And then to add to this mystery, the other option that is also given, is the one who restrains is human government. In any case, Paul's readers seemed to have understood what Paul was referring to.
......And Revelation 12:5 ....She brought forth a manchild that is gona rule ALL NATIONS with a rod of iron....Why wd God send this manchild which is the H.G....The Spirit of truth that Jesus tells us will reprove the WORLD of sin and righteousness and judgement...If God were gonna do away with this beautiful earth...(All Nations )...
