My comment is that no-one can preach the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ unless they know Him well. It is a sad sight when someone preaches the Word, but then falls/turns away from the Lord, or puts Him on a shelf to go seek after other gods, money, fame, women, etc.

Sam you are correct the Bible does not say anything about a female ruler.

There is a heresy running around that the Holy Spirit is female called the SHEkinah or the glory of God.

The word SHEkinah is nowhere in the Bible. So they claim God the Father and the Holy Spirit had a child the Son of God.

The King James clearly calls the Holy Spirit HE

My research as to where this female spirit thing comes from is those involved in the so called "Hebrew roots" movement that claims the King James Bible is mistranslated by pagan Greeks and is generally anti-Semitic in nature.

They are the ones pushing the Yeshua instead of Jesus name.

The main group that I can find with this SHEkinah thing is the Chabad Lubavitch group that claim they are practicing Judaism. Their main book is the Zohar, not the scriptures. The follow what is called Kabbalah which came from Babylon.

The Hollywood celebs, like Madonna, wear red strings to ward off evil spirits are into this stuff.

Look into this everyone I am not making this up. This is who many claim to be the chosen people.

John 15:1 says I am the true vine, and the word true means genuine, versus symbolic. I am the genuine vine, and my Father is the husbandman, literally earth-worker, the farmer of the vineyard.

In the Old Testament, the vine was always used an example of Israel, especially Isaiah Chapter 5 Verses 1 through 7, also known as the song of the vineyard, how that God planted a vineyard and it was the nation Israel. But they grew wild grapes, and thorns grew and God allowed the vineyard to be overrun by the wild animals, and that was the symbol of His judgment against Israel.

And so when Jesus, now talking to His disciples, He says I am the genuine vine, not the symbolic one of the Old Testament. I am the genuine vine and My Father is the farmer.

I am sorry if my comment upset you. You don't have all the details and have no idea why I think it would cause people in my life to repent. My little sister followed me into the world of drugs and alcohol. She is now a practicing prostitute, as is her daughter, to be able to support their heroine habit. Because I was the older brother and an alcoholic and addict myself, I know there's no way, other than shock that will reach her at this point. I have lived a deplorable existence and an act such as that would be the most effective way to reach people. By showing them that the wages of sin is death. I find that self control and all the attributes of the Fruit of the Spirit Galatians 5:22-23 are supported by the infilling and indwelling of the Holy Spirit who is our advocate, teacher and concillor without which life gets in the way. He also, guides you in keeping everything focused on the promise of Sake ye first the Kingdom of God and all these things shall be added unto you. Looks like you got it all backwards , Col 2:9. In him another person NOT IN GOD DWELLETH THE GODHEAD. Jesus told us he is the head as the Father gave all things unto the Son in John 5:19-20. The law is the 10 commandments and it shows what God requires of us to be obedient to Him. 1John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin also transgresseth the law for sin is the transgression of the law. John 15:12 If ye love me keep my commandments. Romans 13:10 Love is the fulfilling of the law. 1st 4 commandments are about loving God last 6 commandments are about loving one another. You are correct. In our prayers and confessions we go through Christ. John 14:13 and 14. Verse 14 says" if you shall ask any thing in my name I will do it. Christ is the one who takes our prayers to the Father. John 15:16 and John 16:23,24.I trust these few texts will help you.

Hi Danielle, it's my personal belief that most of the laws from the old testament were fulfilled when Jesus died on the cross. I believe this instruction to not drink blood is for health reasons and I personally still abide by it. Romans 14:13-23 relates to this. Is this your real question, because I wonder how John 15:13 is related to Leviticus 17:14.

I've been raised my entire life under the teachings of Jehovah's Witnesses, but cannot wrap my head around or bring myself to completely agree with the belief that my family and everyone else seem to be very strict about.....and that is what the Bible says in Leviticus 17:14....... I understand the scripture and it's context, but what about John 15:13. Can someone help me better understand these?

Kindly read John 15:1-6. Jesus says He is the true vine and we are the branches. The branches that bare fruit a retained whereas them that bare not are cut off. Baring fruit is keeping the faith of Jesus and keeping his commandments Rev 14:12. Not baring fruit is the opposite, which most of the Jews did, they believed not whom God had sent which equates to eternal life John 17:3 and hence cut off.

John 15 is a wonderful chapter. I follow Jesus' message here as well.
