We are just pilgrims-- passing through -- this world is not our home. (If we believe in Jesus Christ) Jesus said in John 14:2-3, In my Father's house are many mansions, if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you, ... that where I am, you will be also.
Thank you very inspiring word for Jacob and Esau In this story it teaches us that, God sees inside of a men and not outside. The inner part is GOD most concerned about. So He makes his own decision regarding inner man.Thank You!
This is a great message of our Lord, so we can not be in straggle at all in this 2016. the promises of his comfort "which is in the Holy Ghost," and is sent by the Father in his name, even this will help us to remember and to teach everything that he is telling us, and as he said in verse 27. "Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."
Yes , Jesus did go : He was and is Triumph over death , hell , and ,the grave : Because He triumphed , I am more than a conqueror through Him : what I do here with my Lord God and Father and Jesus Christ, I will have in heaven. So : Work on and get that mansion : don't want a cabin !!! He is coming back to get me : He will not leave me behind.
It's a relief to know that our Savior wants us back with Him! The place Jesus has for us is out-of-this-world beautiful! :- I find comfort to be in His Presence, Power, and Light Forever!
l love Jesus, from this verse we see that Jesus does not rest, for our sake, after being crucified for us on the cross He is not resting so that we have also a wonderful life not in the physical only but also in eternity. He going to heaven did not mean Him resting but that he is still continuing bringing us to light, still continuing preparing us to be true heirs of the kingdom of God.wow.I LOVE JESUS FOR HE NEVER SLEEPS,HE NEVER SLUMBERS BUT IS OUT OF LOVE EVER CREATING GREAT THINGS FOR MY FUTURE.I AM BLESSED
It is very comforting to know that Jesus cares for us so much that he even prepared his disciples for his death and in a way also comforting us by telling us His followers that he will send us another Comforter who shall be with us forever. It is encouraging to know that Jesus has loved us with such great love that he will never leave us nor forsake us. The Holy Spirit is the Comforter not Muhammad as one person commented earlier. John 14:26 is very clear on this. It specifically states so. To argue otherwise would be to contradict the Bible itself. God cannot contradict his own word.
That's food for thought, however, there has to be more to the beginning and the end, the Alpha and the Omega....GOD, Our Father, through His Son, Jesus Christ, Our Lord. The water, the WORD, and the Spirit. Amen
Carol, There is no reference that I know of in scripture that says the actual tree of life still stands.
It is no longer needed; Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. John 14:6. When you wonder about such things you are turning to the right and turning to the left. God warns us not to do this.
John 14:30"Hereafter I will not talk much with you;for the prince of this world cometh, and have nothing in me."(prince of this world=prince of darkness,Satan) (and have nothing in me=he cannot accuse me of any crime/sin) V.31 ";and as the Father gave me commandment"=(God's commandment to his Son was to let them arrest him and go willingly to the cross.) Many scripture tells us Jesus was obedient
Reading scripture does not assure understanding as the enemy is here as well. Ask the Father to hear His voice that you might see His Word and understand. These are gifts given by His Spirit not by ears or eyes of the flesh. 17 Even the Spirit of truth whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
LU2677- - - You said that in JOHN 14:10 is the answer who's the Prophet that Jesus mentioning to. I've read it but Jesus just says "Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.". Jesus still did not tell us who is the Prophet. Help me plz. Tq
responds to Shiyam; the LORD was, as I understand it, saying that if you walk in the path set forth through Jesus, that you may/will become children of the LORD. Jesus showed us the truth, the way and the life ( John 14:6) - how's that sound to you?
Yes , Yes , and Yes , God does still heal today : It is always the will of God to heal . God's salvation is 5 fold : Healing ; Preservation ; Deliverance ; and Soundness of Mind ; and Safety : All we have to do is hear what God says and believe and receive, And Stand on His word till we have the manifestation. God is not a man that He should lie.
I just love this word its like Jesus is washing my soul and building up my faith and I know how much he loves me thank u for these precious words my sweet Jesus
Christ tells us that none of us are worthy except by grace. I find that remembering that I serve a "hands on God" not just something out there keeps me on track. The Holy Ghost guides us every step and yesterday's sins aren't remembered anymore because Christ as our intercessor has blotted them out. Perfect we are not but forgiven we are. Just keep praising God and reading and learning.
The lord will be with you even when you don't feel his presence when it looks like the world is on your shoulder he will do something to let you know I'm right here with you.it's like he will wacth and see just how much you can endure.
It is no longer needed; Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. John 14:6. When you wonder about such things you are turning to the right and turning to the left. God warns us not to do this.
Those that do not heed Christ's words; The Lord will require it of him = The wage of sin is death.
