Thank you, I did not start this thread and I should have known where it would lead. I have laid out my understanding of this over the years I have been on this site. I can give you my knowledge on what you replied, like Matthew 3:16-17 You see all three in these verses The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
What I see is that this message was given to John. When he sees the Holy Spirit alight on someone and remains, he will know that person is the one God has revealed to him as the Messiah, His Son, the Lamb of God, who will baptize with the Holy Spirit. What else I see is God's Spirit was in Jesus, not on, God gave Jesus His Spirit without measure to do all the works God did.
God manifested Himself in Jesus on earth through His Spirit. God's Spirit did not leave Jesus, that is what Jesus said to His disciples, they know him for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. John 14:17, God's Spirit was in Jesus, and If you have seen me, you have seen the Father, John 14:9.
Matthew 28:19 I can say, I have researched this verse and the manuscripts, and many say it is not in the Greek manuscripts but that does not prove anything. I can also say if this was what Jesus told the disciples to do and the method to baptize, we do not see any baptizing done this way. All baptisms recorded in the New Testament is only done in the name of Jesus. Only in Jesus' name, Acts 2:38, Acts 4:12
I love you, brother, if I reply to all you have sent me nothing will change. I feel tensions rising, things are starting to be said, not by you, like I said I did not start this thread, and if you do not mind, I feel it is best if I do not discuss this subject anymore.
4. John 14:16, "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that HE may abide with you for ever".
The word another (in grk allon) and the word Comforter (Parakleitos) are of masculine gender in grk.".
5. John 16:7, "Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter (masculine) will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send HIM unto you."
Jesus had to go so the Spirit took His place in guiding the church.
6. John 14:13-16, "13Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.14He shall glorify me: for HE shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you." Pay attention please, among others, to that " for he shall not speak of himself"
7. Acts 5:3-4, "3But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? 4Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou GAST NOT LIED UNTO MEN, BUT UNTO GOD " Lie to a thing?
8. Acts 10:19-20, "19While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee.
20Arise therefore, and get thee down, and go with them, doubting nothing: for I HAVE SENT THEM" Also 11:12, "And the Spirit bade me go with them, nothing doubting. Moreover these six brethren accompanied me, and we entered into the man's house:"
9. Acts 13:2-4, "As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, SEPATATE ME Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.3And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.4So they, being sent forth by the Holy Ghost, departed unto Seleucia; and from thence they sailed to Cyprus"
Thanks, brother, I'm not the best at putting on paper my understanding. I know some Scriptures refer to the Holy Spirit as he, but the Spirit is the Spirit of God. The Spirit of God dwells in us, Romans 8:9, 1 Corinthians 3:16 and, more. It is the power of the Holy Spirit that does the work of God, Romans 15:19, Jesus did the miracles by the Holy Spirit, Matthew 12:28, Luke 4:18, Acts 10:38, Hebrews 2:4.
Jesus said the words He spoke were not His words but the Fathers and God did the works, this was done by the Holy Spirit through Jesus. John 14:10. Jesus said the Holy Spirit/Comforter proceedeth from the Father John 15:26, Jesus said the Holy Ghost will not speak of himself but what he is told, so the Holy Spirit is under the direction of the Father and Jesus, John 16:13.
All the salutations are from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is not in any salutations. In Revelation 21:22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb is the temple of it. No Holy Spirit, what I see in Scripture is the Holy Spirit is the conduit that God works through and now Jesus as well.
I hope this gives you enough info to see how I see the Holy Spirit and I know that is not what many believe. I do not want to offend and I hope I don't, but this is what I see in Scripture. I do not see the Holy Spirit as a person but as the power of God that surrounds this earth by which God and Jesus dwell in us to communicate, guide, and comfort us.
Was Jesus in heaven before creation? My understanding is no. Many will say Jesus is part of a Triune God, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, three distinct persons, all co-equal, and co-eternal so that would put Him in heaven before creation.
God is a Spirit John 4:24, so if Jesus were in heaven His form would be Spirit. Are there verses on their own that would support the Trinity, yes. But we must keep a verse in context and compare it to other Scriptures about the same subject and not start with the answer, or a preconceived idea. We should let the Scriptures and the Holy Spirit give us the answer and meaning.
A few thoughts. In John 1:1 what beginning is John referring to, the beginning of creation or the beginning of Jesus's ministry, when He was anointed with the Holy Ghost becoming the Messiah, Matthew 4:16-17. We see the same introduction in 1 John 1:1 and others. In Revelation 19:13 Jesus's name is called the Word of God is that saying Jesus is God?
God was manifested in Jesus through the Holy Spirit, 1 John 1:1, Luke 4:18, John 14:10. The life eternal that was with God was manifested on earth through Jesus that we may fellowship with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ 1 John 1:2-7.
I will not go on and on but to me, there is one problem the Trinity doctrine creates I cannot find an answer.
God is perfect and cannot change, in the doctrine that would be the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The law was made for man and a man had to fulfill it. A man who could sin had to live a perfect life without sin to pay the penalty. Jesus did and paid the penalties for sin with His death. God cannot die and God cannot sin nor can He be tempted James 1:13, so He could not fulfill the law. Jesus was born without sin as the first Adam but could sin, the first Adam was not obedient and sinned. The last Adam, Jesus, was obedient to the Father and sinned not Romans 5:19. If God sacrificed Himself John 3:16 is not true.
There are many verses in the Bible that show the human nature of Jesus. But also there are many verses that show the divine nature of Jesus. Some of them are many parts of John's gospel (especially the begining) such as John 1:30, John 2:19, John 3:13, John 8:58-59, John 10:30-33, John 14:9-10, John 14:23, John 20:28, Acts 20:28, Titus 2:13, 2 Peter 1:1, Hebrews 1:8, Matthew 1:22-23, 1 Cor 10:9, Isaiah 40:3, Malachi 3:1, Zechariah 11:12-13, Romans 9:1-5, and many other that I can not recall now. Jesus also accepted people to kneel infront of Him, something that is only permitted for God. Also compare Psalms 102:25-27 where it talks about God to Hebrews 1:10 where it talks about Jesus. Also compare Joel 3:5 to Acts 9:13. Compare Jeremiah 17:9 to Rev 2:23, etc.
So we have two kinds of scripture. One says that Jesus is human, the other says that Jesus is God. So what do we make out of these two? The obvious, that Jesus is the God, one person of the Godhead, who became man.
Lets think it in another way. We know that God loved people so much so that He sacrificed His own son for us. Now lets use another example. Suppose I love my brother and want to help Him. and the only way to help him is to give my own life for him. How does it seem to you that I would sacrifice instead of my own life, my son's life for Him to help Him? Why my son? And not myself? The most sensible thing is that I would sacrifice my own life for him, not somebody's else. That would be very egoistic. Somebody else to suffer for my intention to help somebody that I love? I think you can understand what I trying to say. So what did God do? He sacrificed Himself for us, one person out of the Godhead took on Him our nature, became a man and gave His life for us. So it is God's love that attracts people to Him. It wouldn't be love if He sacrificed somebody else, an innocent person's life, for his intention to save us. I hope I haven't done it so complicated to understand. GBU
Hello Timmywynne. There are many Scriptures that point to the Triune Nature of God, and specifically, that Jesus Christ & the Holy Spirit are revealed to us from the very Being of God the Father. When we think of the Trinity, we know we won't find that word in the Bible, as it is purely a descriptive word of what the Bible declares to be the fullness of God's Being. So to the verses you seek, and you will need to read them fully in your Bible.
Of Jesus Christ: Isaiah 9:6,7 (an Old Testament Prophecy); Micah 5:2 & John 1:1-14 (from everlasting); Matthew 1:22,23; Mark 2:5-7; John 8:56-58; John 16: 27,28; John 17:4,5; John 20:27,28; Philippians 2:5-7; Colossians 1:15-17; Colossians 2:9; 1 Timothy 3:16; Titus 3:13; Hebrews 1:1-3; Hebrews 1:8-10; 1 John 5:7; 1 John 5:20.
Of the Holy Spirit: Matthew 12:31; Luke 1:34,35; Luke 11:13; John 14:26; John 15:26; John 16:7-11; Acts 5:3; Acts 8:29; Acts 13:4; Romans 8:14; Romans 8:26,27; 1 Corinthians 2:10-14; 1 Corinthians 3:16; 1 Corinthians 6:19; 1 Corinthians 12:11; Ephesians 4:30; Hebrews 10:29; 2 Peter 1:21; 1 John 5:6.
The above are a few Scriptures that point to the deity of Jesus Christ & God's Spirit: all showing that they don't work independently from God, but have been sent out from God, from God's Being, to accomplish His Purposes in the world. And we know that Jesus, as the Word of God clothed with humanity, is the very expression of God to the world ( John 14:9; 1 Timothy 3:16; 1 John 4:2). Hope these will help you in your study of this very important doctrine. Blessings.
As we all know, Jesus told his Disciples " I leave you my Peace"
So when Paul testifies to the Philippians concerning Peace, we can witness and declare it to be the truth. We can wait for it!!!
John 14:27
"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."
Philippians 4:7
"And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

" Language you can understand, ruler, you belong to God and God is in you.
According to God's Word, Jesus isn't only with us; He's unremittingly for us ( Ps. 56:9; Rom. 8:31). His presence is always a favorable, advocating, affectionate embrace of us. ( Rom. 5:8; 1 John 2:1) We are wrapped in His Presence-even after we sin because He always intercedes for us to the Father.
Our Savior refuses to sit back and watch us suffer alone. God the Son became fully human and always will identify, suffer, and walk with His people while saving us, forever binding himself to us intimately. God has not left us alone in our suffering. Jesus suffered for us; we have a God who loves us with empathy. And, the Holy Spirit suffers along with us, groaning as He intercedes for us with the Father (8:26-27).
Compassion causes one to cry out with those in misery, to mourn with those who are lonely, to weep with those in tears.
Compassion moves one to be weak with the weak, vulnerable with the vulnerable, and powerless with the powerless.
Compassion means full immersion in the condition of being human. And this is true of God incarnated, the Word, Son of the Father, enfleshed (John1:14) He did all these things in His divinity and humanity and continues to fully identify with, is pained with our suffering and misery. He became sin for us and thus knew the condemnation of sin on the cross.
And thus, Jesus is the Father's most compassionate gift to mankind. It is only by and through faith in Jesus Christ that we are forgiven of our guilt and rescued from our deplorable condition ( John 14:6; Acts 4:12).
The compassion of Christ can be clearly seen in the Gospel narratives. For example, in Matthew 9:36, we observe Christ's compassion for the harassed and helpless. In Matthew 14:14, we see His compassion for those who are sick and suffer disease. In Matthew 15:32, we witness His compassion for those who hunger.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
John1:1-3
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
John 14:8-9
Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
These and other verses make it crystal clear that there is one God. And that one God is the Father', the Son, and the Holy Ghost.
The Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, IS eternal God himself. The Father IS eternal God himself. The Holy Ghost IS eternal God himself.
There is only ONE God.
Our finite minds cannot grasp the full nature of God Himself. We read what God chooses to reveal about himself in the Bible. And we must accept that as it stands.
If the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, were not eternal God himself, he could not be our savior. He could not have born every dirty rotten sin that has or will be committed by everyone whom he came to save. Nor could he have fully paid the full penalty required by the law of God, for those sins, which is eternal death, and then have risen again.
So again, when we go down a path of trying to work all this all out in our finite minds, we get into a Gordian knot that we cannot untangle.
We are the creature, and God is the creator. And we must accept what the Bible declares about the nature of God, and leave it there.
Prayer Request for God to provide provision for my family so I can pay our bills and put food on our table I ask this according to John 14:14 In Jesus Christ Name i pray Amen
Hello MotherMac. As you have read Romans chapter 8, the whole speaks of the life filled & led of the Holy Spirit. And then we come to Romans 8:26,27 which teaches us that the Holy Spirit helps God's children in their infirmities; and this I feel refers specifically to how we should pray to the Father when we are ignorant of the facts of the problem (whether of ourselves, of others & of matters of the world). So when we earnestly come before the LORD in prayer, with heavy hearts over some matter deeply affecting us, the Spirit of God enables us to pray, intercedes for us & takes our maybe disjointed uninformed prayers, conveying it intelligently before the Father's Throne.
This thought then leads me to verse 27, of the vital inseparable relationship between the Father & His Spirit Whom He has sent out into the world & especially into the lives of His children. It is God "Who searches the hearts" and it is God "Who knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit". To those who believe that God's Spirit is just a force of God would have to concede that the Spirit of God is not a mere force from God but a very real Being (Person) of God Whom God has sent forth to accomplish His Will on the Earth. His Spirit has a 'Mind', which means He holds & expresses the very same mental attributes & Will of God to fulfil God's Purposes. The Spirit is truly God in us ( John 14:16,17) & God working before others.
This can be confusing as we can somewhat understand Jesus, God's Son as walking on Earth & living a sinless life, perfectly performing the Father's Will. But when we speak of the Holy Spirit Who can't be seen, having a Mind (v27), or demonstrating intelligence ( 1 Corinthians 2:10,11); having feelings ( Ephesians 4:30); or having a Will ( 1 Corinthians 12:11), & many other Works, then our understanding of this is quite tested. Even as Jesus holds all the attributes of the Father ( Revelation 2:23, "He which searcheth the hearts & reins"), the Spirit's Mind fully aligns with God.
Trust YAH/GOD [ Proverbs 3:5-6] and go to HIS Word and let it lead you and guide you.
HE and HE alone IS the Great Physician [ Isaiah 53:5 & Psalm 103:3] although HE has HIS representatives on the earth, they are in the vast minority because as it is written satan has deceived the "whole" world [ Revelation 12:9]
Pharmakeia [pharmaceuticals] by its very definition in the Greek means witchcraft. [ pharmakea, far-mak-i'-ah; from G5332; medication ("pharmacy"), i.e. (by extension) magic (literally or figuratively):-sorcery, witchcraft.]
So be very discerning and ALWAYS ask the HOLY SPIRIT OF YAH for Wisdom [ James 1:5] that you may understand HIS Word to sift out truth from fiction or truth from half truths, that HE may guide your feet to [ Psalm 119:105] where HE may want you to go and to whom, if any, that HE may want you to go to.
Also that most of all, HE would teach you about the power and authority that HE has placed in you, even from the foundation of the world [ Ephesians 1:4-6]; and which HE reinforced in the forming of the template [Adam] of material man [ Genesis 1:26 ] when HE [ELOHIM- I.E. THE PLURALITY OF HIMSELF] said Let US make man in our own image and likeness; and again when YESHUA/JESUS said that you can do all that HE does and even more [ John 14:12]
May YAH continue to Keep you. In YESHUA MIGHTY NAME.AMEN.
John 3:16-18 says, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God's one and only Son." Apart from the work of Jesus Christ, every human is condemned to an eternity in hell ( Revelation 20:15). But God has freely offered the gift of heaven. What determines if a person goes to heaven or hell for eternity is whether that person has been reconciled to God through Jesus Christ ( Romans 4; Galatians 3:23-29; Hebrews 11).
Going to hell is the default position of humanity. Going to heaven is the free gift of God's grace, received by faith, offered to all people ( Ephesians 2:1-10). God wants people to be reconciled with Him, so He provided the way ( John 14:6). Every person is invited to go to heaven.
Going to heaven or hell has everything to do with God's act of rescue. When God created the world, everything was very good ( Genesis 1:31). He created humanity in His image. He provided food for them but told them there was one tree from which they were not allowed to eat. They were to trust His provision, follow His commands, remain in close relationship with Him, and experience fullness of life. But they were also free to disobey Him, which would result in death ( Genesis 2:15-17; Romans 6:23).God, I know that I have gone against your ways, that I rightly deserve condemnation. I know that you are loving, merciful, gracious, and just. I believe that you have made reconciliation possible. I believe that Jesus is the only Savior, and I submit to Him as Lord. I believe He is fully God, fully human, lived a perfect life, died on the cross for my sins, and rose from the dead bodily. I believe His sacrifice is sufficient for my sins.
Going to heaven-how can I guarantee my eternal destination?
Answer
Face it. The day we step into eternity may come sooner than we think. In preparation for that moment, we need to know this truth-not everyone is going to heaven. How can we know for sure that we are going to heaven? Some 2,000 years ago, the apostles Peter and John were preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ to a large crowd in Jerusalem. Peter made a profound statement that resonates even in our postmodern world: "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved" ( Acts 4:12)
Many people today hold to a watered-down gospel that does away with the need for repentance. They want to believe in a "loving" (nonjudgmental) God who never mentions sin and who requires no change in their lifestyle. They may say things like, "My God would never send a person to hell." But Jesus spoke more about hell than He did about heaven, and He presented Himself as the Savior who offers the only means of going to heaven: "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" ( John 14:6).
Who will actually enter God's kingdom? How can I guarantee that I'm going to heaven? The Bible makes a clear distinction between those who have eternal life and those who do not: "He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life" ( 1 John 5:12). It all goes back to faith. Those who believe in Christ are made the children of God ( John 1:12). Those who accept Jesus' sacrifice as the payment for their sins and who believe in His resurrection are going to heaven. Those who reject Christ are not. "Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son" ( John 3:18).
Bible says there is one and only one way to heaven-Jesus Christ. Follow Jesus' command: "Enter through
These are important questions, and you should study for your understanding and conscience. It may take a while but pray and let the Holy Spirit lead you. Do not go to the Scriptures with preconceived ideas, when we do that our eyes and ears are closed to the truth and Holy Spirit.
We know Jesus is the only way John 14:6, Jesus was sent by the Father and He did the will of the Father. God was with/in Jesus Acts 10:38. The works Jesus did were the Father's works, the words Jesus spoke were the Father's, and Jesus was totally obedient to His death, and by that we are made righteous, Romans 5:19.
God's plan was before creation all was in this plan from the beginning to the end and Jesus was the beginning of this plan 1 Peter 1:19-20.
Acts 8:39 - And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.
In the Greek text, this phrase "caught away" is the word HARPADZO, same word for the rapture. God's Spirit snatched Philip away, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing. Many believe that this was a miracle where Philip was just there, and he's gone. But that doesn't necessarily have to be the translation as we understand it.
God Spirit just grabbed him by force. This wasn't a casual goodbye. It's one of those "I got to go!" And the eunuch saw him no more: and he (the eunuch) went on his way rejoicing. History tells us that this eunuch was the one who started the church, the body of Christ, in Ethiopia. Interesting when he got home!
Acts 9:2 - And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.
So, he went to the high priest and desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of "the way," and please notice the literal translation.
It is not "of this way." It's actually a title. The Christians were called or said to be of "the way." It is the word for road. It is the word for way of life taken from John 14:6. Jesus said, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life."
So, they did not see it as a religion. They saw it as a way of life, these people who are of "the way." Of what way? Of Jesus. He is their way of life. It's interesting that if he found any of "THE WAY," whether they were men or women, so he didn't care who they were, that he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.
The word "bound" is in the Perfect Tense showing condition. He wants to get as many as he can find, both men and women, and bind them, put chains or ropes around them, and bring them into Jerusalem in this condition.
Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein. ( Luke 18:17, KJV)
One day, I walked into the living room and saw my granddaughter sitting at a child's table, pretending she was a teacher. As I walked by her, I picked up the D volume of the Britannica Junior Encyclopedia she had on her table/desk and sat on the couch. As I thumbed through its pages, I heard her getting onto one of her imaginary students when the heading DEAM caught my eye, and I started to read. One paragraph really stood out that read: "There are two kinds of daydreams which children have but adults do not: the daydream of the imaginary playmate, and the daydream of the adopted child. A child, if he has few friends to play with, may daydream that he has a playmate. Such a child may find his imaginary friend so interesting that he spends long hours in this daydream play. Another child likes to imagine that he is "special"--that he is really a prince or princess and that his parents are king and queen. Such a child then daydreams that he has been adopted, and that his real parents are royalty."
Paul said, "For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father." ( Romans 8:15, KJV) The daydream of the adopted child?
Jesus said, "If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. ( John 14:15, KJV) The daydream of the imaginary playmate?
As a SPIRITUALLY ORDAINED and SANCIFIED MINISTER of Jesus Christ God Almighty, according to Romans 13:1-4, come as prophesied MANIFEST WITHIN ME, according to Isaiah 9:2, 6-7; St. Matthew 4:16; St. John 14:1-21, highlighting verses 20-21, and 2 Corinthians 4:1-7, I have recently sadly discovered that at least two (2) highly important chapters of the OFFICIAL KJV of the Bible of THIS WEBSITE have been wrongfully and shamefully removed, being 1 John chapters 4 and 5! I know for a fact they have been present this year. Suddenly they're now both gone! Please return these chapters of the Bible immediately, including any other chapters I'm not currently aware have been removed as well! Please note, the last chapter of the Bible, Revelation 22, verses 18-19, as it is written (KJV)
Revelation 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
Q: Jesus asked his disciples 'whom say ye that I am" and it leads to the keys to the kingdom. Was the offer only limited to Simon Peter?
A: Not it was not. St Peter answered correctly but being first did not confer any particular advantages other than a certain gift and it came from his relation to the Father and not from their relation to him. The passage from the gospel reads thus: When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?/ And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets."(Matt.16:13-14) Jesus commends Peter fro his answer which came for from above. He is referring to the covenant. "Flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven." He is blessed under the covenant and it was made manifest there. God the Father had given the men to him which we know from his prayer to his Father. "I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me." ( John 17:23) The disciples were to be made perfect as was in heaven. So the outpouring of the Spirit was a sign for them. "At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you."( John 14:20)
The everlasting covenant gave every believer in the Man component a certain volume which was absolutely determined by the Law of the Spirit. "But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you."(Ro.8:11) His death and resurrection "made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light." Col.1:12)
His gifts are " for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man," (Ep.4:10-16)
I care too much for those on this site.

God bless,

God bless,

GBU

We love God for his Love!!!
We praise God for his Kindness!!!
We worship him for his Works!!!
We will pay our Vows !!!
We will Glorify his Holy Name !!!

Pt. 2

Your post has attracted a lot of comments.
Do not be confused.
Answer
God bless you,
