The Bible declares of itself in the King James translation:
2 Peter 1:20-21 "Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost [Spirit]."
We also read in Jeremiah 36:1-4
"And it came to pass in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, that this word came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, saying, Take thee a roll of a book, and write therein all the words that I have spoken unto thee against Israel, and against Judah, and against all the nations, from the day I spake unto thee, from the days of Josiah, even unto this day. It may be that the house of Judah will hear all the evil which I purpose to do unto them; that they may return every man from his evil way; that I may forgive their iniquity and their sin. Then Jeremiah called Baruch the son of Neriah: and Baruch wrote from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the LORD, which he had spoken unto him, upon a roll of a book."
In other words, these men were set apart by God and used of God to speak and write the very words that God wanted them to speak and write, so that (in the original manuscripts written in Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek) every word and every letter of every word came straight from the mouth of God. Those men were "moved" by God the Holy Spirit to speak that which God wanted mankind to know.
Does it merely CONTAIN the Word of God? Or, in the original Hebrew and Greek, is it truly God's Word; that is EVERY WORD EVERY VERSE is truly God breathed from the mind and mouth of God?
We read in Jeremiah 36:1-4 an example of how God wrote the Bible:
1 And it came to pass in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, that this word came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
2 Take thee a roll of a book, and write therein all the words that I have spoken unto thee against Israel, and against Judah, and against all the nations, from the day I spake unto thee, from the days of Josiah, even unto this day.
3 It may be that the house of Judah will hear all the evil which I purpose to do unto them; that they may return every man from his evil way; that I may forgive their iniquity and their sin.
4 Then Jeremiah called Baruch the son of Neriah: and Baruch wrote from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the LORD, which he had spoken unto him, upon a roll of a book.
2 Peter1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
Could this be any clearer?
God is the Author of the whole Bible from Genesis to Revelation. And every word, every phrase, in the original languages, is exactly the word and phrase that God chose to use.
The Bible is truly the very Word of God Himself from the mind and mouth of God Himself.
We do not know exhaustively all of the beings God has created in the spiritual realm. We just cannot definitively say that angelic beings are to look a certain way. Since you were not seeking this experience, I would most likely think that God was blessing you in a way concerning your line of work, transporting young children. So, if it was me, I would thank God and then tuck this event away into my treasure box of blessings received from Him.
I'm not sure but those in Gen 6 may be this group.
And the angels which kept not their first estate, but LEFT THEIR OWN HABITATION, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. Jude 1:6.
LEFT THEIR OWN HABITATION,
I believe that means they sort of disrobed sort of speak or lost their position and perhaps some of the supernatural ability.
" Like disappearing and reappearing
I'm not sure, but I don't believe we have baby Angels running around disappearing.
But who knows, some say one day we're going to have a baby Holy Ghost. Maybe it's one of them.
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing your personal experience! Thank you for trusting us with that. Several people have unique visions & experiences. Please pray for wisdom & understanding, if that's what your seeking. James 1:5,6,7,
It seems though, you said "smiling" was it comforting to you? Encouraging?
Here's another scripture if you feel warning: Matthew 18:10, in context Matthew 18,
Gen 19:5 - men wanted to have sex with the angels (doesn't mean it was possible, but noteworthy it was mentioned)
Heb 13:2 - people have entertained angels without even knowing it. So, they may sometimes not look any different than other people. Other times I think people were afraid at what they saw, so they might have control over how they present themselves.
Angels are not organic or natural beings. They cannot procreate! If they could, God would have allowed them to reproduce with each other instead of creating untold numbers of them.
I'm not sure God created them as babies, They didn't have to grow up.
I believe they had everything they needed the day God created them.
God has shown me two baby angels while i was at work; when God shows u angels, is it a sign of his approval or a warning and the angels were smiling , my bus helper never heard anything nor saw anything. is this a sign? this actually happen seven to eight years ago iam a school bus driverand no one saw or heard anything i was on my bus dropping off kids.this really happen
Since beginning of lent prayer god has shown me several "i am the lord all powerful"each time i open the bible especially in battles but it recalled to mind 3 characteristics of god:omniscient:all knowing, omnipotent all powerful.and the one i was most thankful for:omnipresent!!! thank you jesus+++mary?
This also shows that God was the author of the bible. And he told man not to add to his book or to take away from it so if we are to be his people we must be carfull what we say or quoat . also what we call his word and what we call his Bible he only wrote one.
Doubting God is fatal. Jehoiakim doubted God, the Prophet (Jeremiah) and the Scribe (Baruch), and acted harshly by burning his own life and safety on the fire. Be ware of prejudice.
@Brad Holland,
To study the differences between the King James Version 1611 (authorized version) and the other versions is something you should do with diligence ( Hebrews 11:6; 2 Timothy 2:15) and I believe you will conclude that the King James Version 1611 (authorized version) is the only inspired word of God as I have. As for the vulgate text it is from the Alexandria manuscripts (Egypt) Latin based that the catholic church uses for their version translated by origen and others that is proven to be corrupt by most honest and true bible translators. The King James Version 1611 (authorized version) is translated from the manuscripts of Antioch ( Acts 11:26) (Textus Receptus) where you will find that most honest and true translators conclude to be correct. As for the original text there are no original texts and when someone can produce them I might start altering my thinking on this subject. God is never to concern about the originals, see what god does with originals and how he preserves his word ( Exodus 32:19, Exodus 34:1; Psalms 12:6,7; Matthew 24:35; Peter 1:19) more original writings ( Jeremiah 30:1, Jeremiah 36:27, 28, 32). God has preserved his word in the King James Version 1611 (authorized version). When a person comes to conclusion that all versions are of God they have not studied the scriptures with diligence. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways ( James 1:8). There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end there of is the ways of death ( Proverbs 14:12; 2 Timothy 2:15).

Follow.
That's true you're right.

I would be leery of that vision.

a message that all of the time was profitable and glorified the true God and never left the people guessing. The true
God is not the author of confusion. Keep in mind the enemy also has messengers an example a woman that I was
sharing the gospel with had two men appear in her house and not say a word, when she ask if they knew jesus Christ
they disappeared instantly never seen again. Remember at that name every knee shall bow, you would think they would
have smiled or acknowledged something but no. So when it comes to any spiritual manifestations or miracles does it line
up with scripture and Glory God and the word and the church and bless the recipient.
When in fear of war: 2Chronicles 20:2-23, brought deliverance
Ezra 8:21, direction & protection, Esther 4,
Isaiah 58, * GOD pointing out hypocrisy & cruelty, & a better way,
To avoid Judgement through repentance & fasting: Jeremiah 36:7-9, Jonah 3:4-10, Nehemiah 9,
Fasting for Understanding: Daniel 9:2-23 (amazing description here to encourage GOD hears!)
Please note in these, there is confessing wrong doing, declaration of GOD's goodness,
Direction from Jesus: Matthew 6:16-18, privately
Deliverance from spiritual difficulties some only accomplished through fasting & prayer. Mark 9:15-29,
Additional direction in fasting for married couple : 1Corinthians 7:2-5,
Sometimes it's good after you've done all of that, to just be still before GOD
Hopefully these are helpful
May we be faithful in our prayers for the leadership of the USA as well as for your hand of mercy unto the conflict in Ukraine.
