    Brother David:

Matthew 5:25 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not thy whole body cast into GEHENNA (translated hell).

When Jesus was on earth Gehenna was the dump ground for Jerusalem where all the trash, garbage and bodies of dead criminals was dumped. It was on fire to DESTROY. Worms were there eating the dead flesh. As long as there was new fuel being dumped there, the worms never died nor was the fire ever quenched. It's a city park now, the is no longer worms or a fire.

Jesus was using Gehenna as an analogy, not something literal. If Jesus meant for you to take it literally, why aren't you missing eyes, hands and feet, that you have cut off and plucked out, to stay out of HELL.

    Matthew 5:30

    Matthew 10:28

    Matthew 23:15

    Matthew 23:33

    Mark 9:43

    Mark 9:45

    Mark 9:47

    Luke 12:5

    Matthew 5:22

    Matthew 18:9

    James 3:6

All the verses have GEHENNA translated as HELL

Here are the scriptures in the Old testament that refer to Hinnom.

    Nehemiah 11:30

    Joshua 15:8

    Joshua 18:16

    2 Kings 23:10

    2 Chronicles 28:3

    2 Chronicles 33:6

    Jeremiah 7:31

    Jeremiah 7:32

    Jeremiah 19:2

    Jeremiah 19:6

    Jeremiah 32:35

None of the scriptures have anything to do with the CHRISTIAN HELL.
  • ASTROLOGY IS A DEATH SENTENCE FOR THOSE WHO PRACTISE - In Reply on Jeremiah 32 - 3 years ago
    Astrology

Your word Zodiac is not in the KJV BIBLE. However the study of Zodiac is Astrology. It is a religion; NOT a science. The penalty for practicing and misleading others, is DEATH.

Daniel 2:10 | View whole chapter

The Chaldeans answered before the king, and said, There is not a man upon the earth that can shew the king's matter: therefore there is no king, lord, nor ruler, that asked such things at any magician, or astrologer, or Chaldean.

"( Dan. 1:20; 2:2, 10, 27, etc.) Heb. ashshaph', an enchanter," one who professes to divine future events by the appearance of the stars. This science flourished among the CHALDEANS. It was positively forbidden to the Jews ( Deut. 4:19; 18:10; Isa. 47:13).

    Isaiah 47

11 Therefore shall evil come upon thee; thou shalt not know from whence it riseth: and mischief shall fall upon thee; thou shalt not be able to put it off: and desolation shall come upon thee suddenly, which thou shalt not know.

12 Stand now with thine enchantments, and with the multitude of thy sorceries, wherein thou hast laboured from thy youth; if so be thou shalt be able to profit, if so be thou mayest prevail.

13 Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels. Let now the ASTROLOGERS, the STARGAZERS, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from these things that shall come upon thee.

14 Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame: there shall not be a coal to warm at, nor fire to sit before it.

The book of Enoch is all about the Chaldeans. Worshippers of dark arts and are an abomination to a Holy God! So do a search of all the scriptures on the word CHALDEAN, in the KJV BIBLE. Use the SEARCH BOX engine on this website.

I WAS an astrologer. I was saved on Yom Kippur, 1985. I had to fight demons as a baby Christian. Run from this! Jesus is your only hope to live.

I need to re-read this chapter.

King of Zedekiah asking Jeremiah in prison, why do you speak against us about Babylon taking us captive?

Jeremiah responds, "Let me tell you a story of me buying my cousin's house which has nothing to do with your question" lol.

Again, I need to re-read this chapter.

In reply to " The 1st commandment is to LOVE God not fear him"

The Bible says many times to fear God. The Bible doesn't say to "not" fear God as you put it. 1 John 4:18 seems to suggest love and fear and opposites. Maybe these are mutually exclusive when it comes to how we treat others, but maybe God in an exception. The Bible clearly says to love God and clearly says to fear God. Therefore, I'm inclined to believe that it's both. Some say the fear means a high level of respect rather than a petrified fear. If anyone wants to compare the original Hebrew or Greek to see if its the same word or not, that might be helpful.

    Proverbs 9:10, Ephesians 5:21, Jeremiah 32:39, Luke 12:5, Leviticus 25:17.

30:19 great are your purposes and mighty are your deeds.Your eyes are open to the ways of all mankind;you reward each person according to their conduct and as their deeds deserve

I find myself baffled by this verse...My heart and soul tell me that this is contradictory to the core of Christianity.

If God my King "rewarded" us according to our conduct and deeds. We would all be Sodom. Lost to any hope of eternal life. The gates of pearl would be locked against us.

Our eternal reward would be death.

Because the wage of sin is death!

Jesus' died so that we could have life and life eternal. If we believe that good deeds and conduct can earn us rewards in this life or the next then we devalue the sacrifice that is and was Christ Jesus!

Jeremiah 32:42: "For thus saith the LORD; Like as I have brought all this great evil upon this people, so will I bring upon them all the good that I have promised them.", I think is the verse you're thinking of - very good memory you have there, Whit!

Tis true, even the mistreated dog will crawl back to his master & hopefully that will soften the master's heart & the dog will receive a loving reception. Yet, we know that whatever & however life throws curved balls at us, our Master will always be there with open arms & a loving embrace. It's not exactly a quotation on abortion but look up Jeremiah 32:35. The people of Judah were sacrificing their children in the fires to the god Molech, something that never came into God's mind that they should perform such an abomination.

Human life begins at conception. God knows a person before they are even born into this world. There is plenty of Scripture verses which indicate this is so.

Mishael I looked at Jews for Jesus and that "messianic Jew" Stan Telchin and I notice they always have that 6 pointed star on their sites. the same 6 pointed star on the Israeli flag.

Old Testament book of Amos 5:26 But ye (Jews) have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your images, the STAR star of your god, which ye made to yourselves. (what star do Jews carry?)

New Testament book of Acts 7:43 Yea, ye (Jews) took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the STAR star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.

Who was Moloch? Jeremiah 32:35 And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto MOLECH Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this ABOMINATION abomination, to cause Judah to sin.

Unless the book of acts is wrong, the 6 pointed star is tied into the occult with Moloch since it is the only star the Jews have carried for centuries. Personally I find this troubling.

A Jewish author wrote the book "The Six Pointed Star book" by author O.J. Graham

He lays it out plain as day from the scripture, history and the occult.

Personally I find this disturbing for alleged believers using occult symbolism.

    6 pointed star does it equal 666? 6 points, 6 triangles 6....?

The sin nature of man is apparent. It fill up every crevice of man; that why God's holiness and righteousness have to punish his foolish children. We are nothing but filthy rag when it comes to the righteousness of God. But god always give us a way out. No matter how unrighteous man have been. Repent and pray and turn back from your wick way. Past it on.

Make sure that you bring yourself, your entire family & bloodline under subjection to the Lordship of Christ to learning of Him, loving & doing HIS will, and submitting to being used for GOOD and not EVIL in the lives of ALL, not just the "white race" if that's the race you are of. Judgement is coming upon the wicked for the evil they continue to enforce on others that their forefathers were seeding. Ancestral sins must be confessed, not hidden, and repented of.

It's too bad that the innocent have to pay the price for the wicked deeds of their family.

    Jeremiah 32:18 KJV

Thou shewest lovingkindness unto thousands, and recompensest the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them: the Great, the Mighty God, the LORD of hosts, is his name,

    Matthew 23 (AMP)

31 So you testify against yourselves that you are the descendants of those who murdered the prophets. 32 Fill up, then, the [allotted] measure of the guilt of your fathers' sins. 33 You [e]serpents, you spawn of vipers, how can you escape the penalty of hell?

Knowing that with Him all things are possible ( Luke 1:37) He's the God of flesh as there is nothing too hard for Him ( Jeremiah 32:27) I am confident that joy will come after this weeping of the night, as He's about to do something new in the lives of the believers that would convince those yet to believe in Him as their

Amen. God is all powerful, all loving. People get weird ideas in their head about expecting God to do this or that otherwise... but God isn't a genie in a lamp. People make up random expectations of what they think he should be like or do or not do and it's mostly logical fallacies. God loved us enough to give us life, air in our lungs, a place to life, family, friends, and we will be tested and have trials while here, which tests our character. That is guaranteed. People seem to expect everything to go perfect in their life for some unknown reason, but there's nowhere in the Bible saying we're guaranteed a flawless life, the opposite in fact. We can have joy regardless. Philippians 4:10-13

What this means to me is that God is the creator of everything. Every individual, every emotion and everything that works together to push everything forward into the appropriate direction. Until we fully understand that everything that is of existence is in God's hand, we will continue to live in fear of the unknown, not trusting that God knows all, and has everything under control.

Its a lot different dealing with real people, than reading or listening to theories and pontifications from "experts." Its interesting too, that nowhere does the Lord provide for us to work out our salvation by listening to tapes or cd's; but by actually living among other humans, and learning therein how to follow Jesus in His character and conduct, in ordinary day to day circumstances.

If we didn't read the whole thing in context, we wouldn't quite know the power in the LORD's words, that He is the God of all flesh, and that nothing is too hard for Him. It's not just for asking things from God, as some might assume but it is about making solid and sure preparations, and taking witnesses to confirm, for things not seen as yet but are spoken and affirmed by the Scriptures. We are building an ark, based entirely on the word of God, about things not seen as yet, to save us from the deluge of destruction coming. And we are going out from a world of heathen culture, unto a place that God has prepared for us, which just now is not seen. The terrible and dreadful time of the end is most definitely upon us, as the Lord has said it would be and He tells us to make preparations for the day following. There is a reason for the world going into cataclysm and catastrophe, and the transgressors loosed from all restraint just as there is reason for us to be tried as gold is tried in the furnace of temptations and tribulations. We take to us witnesses to record, by the course in life we take, before the eyes of all among whom we live and work. We take witnesses to record, as the Angels in charge of writing down in books for the last day and the judgment. We purchase "a field" in the heights, of a country of our own kind to come.

Omnipotence and righteousness revealed. Praise God!
