    I think that when a person is wicked, he or she is trouble to others,and foremost to themselves. We are digging a grave for ourselves by choosing to be wicked

    I have suffered so terribly over the last 8 years. However, this verse was given to me, I believe late one night about 5 years ago in the midst of my suffering. I asked God for a verse and He direct me to Is 57:18, not knowing what in the world it was. Obviously, I was amazed at the verses as I could not imagine any other verse that could have better spoken to me. However, I am still waiting on my healing. I have progressed some since then but still suffer from unbearable back pain after 2 surgeries. I believe in the Word to me late that night and hold on to this verse more than one can know. I don't know who reads this but this is my testimony to this verse. Please pray it becomes real and true to me soon.

    Second time I read this verse from Isaiah. A re-confirmation to the fate of wicked, the vile person, the "liberals", as they call them these days.

    This is very literal, putting figurines and idols where it is said here. I know it, we have literal idol worships all around the place here.

    When my 2 year and daughter passed away, I was given this scripture. To me it means the righteous are taken away to keep them from the evil one, I believe The Lord took her because she saw her future. The Lord knows there is so much evil in this world that he didn't want my daughter to suffer, so he took her home because he loves her so much. I have this blessed hope that I will see her again. Her twin sister is now 22, and struggle now and then, but she is a strong woman.

    To me I will say that when someone has made up his or her mind to always be doing evil that person will never be at rest.

    @Yolanda,
    In this chapter, God is telling the sinful practices of Israel, the consequences of their deeds, and the consequences of all sinful practices and the benefits of doing good.
    Though Israel went that far, God still promises to rescue him and deliver him, so is He going to deliver us also in this life.
    God bless you.
