I've just had a look at the Koorong Site, & there seems to be a variety of such books for children. But first enquire whether any of them might be suitable for a 3 yr old & the type of content that is published. Certainly, only portions of the Bible, applicable to children, will be written/drawn & nothing like what we have in our possession now. There would be other Christian bookstores, maybe nearer to you, that would have similar books, I'm sure.
That's a saying not a scripture. Check these out :D

The Old Testament was the first writing about God and that book was written in Hebrew, which was the language of the Israelites and Jewish. If I write what God's name in another language it then wouldn't be in English anymore. Also, Hebrew uses different Hebrew characters so its not even possible to write that here and if it was, could you even read it? You can use the parallel view on this site to compare Hebrew to English though. So, it's my opinion that people often get fixated on what the actual names are in 'original' languages, however, my point of view is that we don't speak the original language, but English and it's already translated and correct. God is called God. He is also called Lord. Exodus 15:3. The pronunciation of Lord in English aside from the already-correct 'Lord' with hybrid characters is something like Yahweh, or YHWH, and Jehovah. Isaiah 12:2. Elohim = God in Hebrew.
What a great testimony, Robert. God's Spirit has truly revived & refreshed you through your difficult time & will be your delight & portion in the days ahead. 2 Cor 1:2-4: may the Grace you have received through your trials be the means whereby others may also be comforted & restored.
REJOICE IN THE LORD ALWAYS, AGAIN I SAY REJOICE! This chapter of the prophet Isaiah lifted my soul today. I have lived with much physical pain the last twenty years, but the older I get the more excited I am for the Kingdom of God. What an exciting time it will be my brothers and sisters. The fear of the LORD is the most powerful thing in this life. It is well with my soul. Thank you Holy Spirit as you continue my journey.
From the above we learn there is a Blessed Assurance Jesus is mine. Ohooo what for taste of Glory Divine. Sing unto the LORD for he hath done excellent things, this is known in all the earth. Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.
Isiaiah chapter 12 make you want Live for our Lord and Savior.Yes i mess up mine time but when i read this chapter.Jesus Christ Love Me even when i mess up .And following him and doing what the Bible tell me how to live as One of his Followers. Priceless and Prower Chapter.Amen .Read it slow so it can sink in and ask the"Holy Spirit for .
Isaiah 12 generally shows JEHOVAH LORD is a loving father who will punish you especially when you are going astray and then stretches his loving arm to comfort you.The punishment here is put back on the right truck with him.
Verse 1 shows that God was angry with the Israelites and He had to discipline them. God did not stay angry with them. Once the discipline accomplished its purpose he forgave them and he helped them to restore their relationship with Him.
Jesus said to who has more shall be giving, therefore if you are joyful you get more Joy and will be able to state your case with God for answers. Being sad magnetise curses Malachi 2:2, Deut 28:47-48 rather with Joy shall you draw water out of the wells of salvation Isaiah 12:3. It is therefore good to know that this is a MASTER KEY FOR PRAYERS TO BE ANSWERED it is a COMMAND phil 4:4-7 Rejoice.
Isaiah 12 reminds me of Psalm 107:1, O give thanks unto the Lord for He is good. God is a forgiving God and He deserves all praise, glory and honor due Him. Versus 5-6 is telling us to sing unto the Lord for He has done excellent things, He brought His people out of bondage and into the new world. Cry out and shout for great is the Holy one.
This is such an encouraging chapter. So many people think God is mad at them when troubles come their way. Here is proof God never loses his love for us. We can truly praise God for his kindness and ever reaching love and care for us. When you think of this you do want to praise him.
david do not be shocked, because in acts 4-12 no other name was given, JESUS where man must be save by !!!!it could not have been given at that time !!
The Name of the Father, Jesus said, I manifested thy name John 17:6 I declared thy name John 17:26 What name did he manifest declare. In my name ye shall. Mark 16:16-18. As he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent Name than the angels. Hebrews 1:4. We all inherit our names from our Father, but that name was kept secret in the old test. The angel of The Lord had that name in him. Ex. 23:21 My name is in him. Judges 13:18 seeing it is secret. Luke 1:31. The angel said thou shall call his name Jesus. Isaiah 12:2 Jehovah is become my salvation, which means Jesus. The mighty God. The Everlasting Father, his name is Jesus. Jesus said no man know who the Father is but the Son, and to whomever he will reveal him Math. 11:27. Pray the Son will give u revelation.
I 'm shocked that Isaiah 12 is only one of three place the 1611 Bible uses the divine name. However, in their notes the writers were wise and honest enough to acknowledge that the divine name YHWH 0r in modern english: Jehovah was substitued with the word "LORD " or "O LORD " or "LORD GOD " or "GOD " all in upper case lettering, to distiguish the most high God from any other god 's that mankind might create for himself. This includes Jesus Christ, who many have appreciated so much, that they inadvertantly made him into a god, or even at par with "The GOD " This is something Jesus himself, bothe when on earth and after his resurrection did not accept, as many, many scriptues bear out. Jesus Christ did and is doing tremendous things, but he teaches us divine humility by not trying to usurp his father Jehovah 's position as the supreme head of the universe. By the way, has anyone ever wondered why or how Jehovah 's Witnesses chose that "legal " name. To make their lives easier, one would think they 'd follow the churches, and just call themselves "the LORD 'S Witnesses ", but they didn 't--just a thought.
The first 5 chapters, God revealed me to myself, I 've been asking God to reveal me to myself, and whatever wasn 't pleasing to Him about me There was an urgent need to change me,because it is very important to please my Creator, and He showed me, me. I love this book
Verse 2 of this chapter is a wonderful encouragement to every child of God.It is loaded with confidence, trust and assurance to us all.Therefor we need not to worry or fear for anything.
I love this chapter the Lord shows us that he is always with us. I can know that I can praise and worship the Lord anytime because he is there. Bless his name.
Isaiah 12, verse 2, reads, 'See, God has come to save me! I will trust and not be afraid, for the Lord is my strength and song, he is my savation. ' Let 's get right to the point. We chide the JW 's for saying that Jesus is not God. They say that he is 'A ' God, and not the Jehovah of the Old Testament. But we Baptist and other mainstream Christians do the same thing. Just ask any Baptist preacher and he will say that Jesus is only God 's Son. And by Son he means that Jesus is a lesser figure than God the Father. The most famous Baptist mainline preacher says that he thinks of Jesus as a being separate from God. And that he hopes God will understand. Many Baptist say that God was in Jesus, but he was not Jesus. Or they make similiar statements. So again, why do we get upset with other groups like the JW 's for saying in the open what we say in our private thoughts. Again, Isaiah 12, verse, 2,says that God is coming to save us. This speaks of God as Immanuel Jesus being born in Bethlehem that Christmas day. This fulfilled all the promises of the Old Testament about God as our Savior! Paul knew this when he said that we must confess Jesus as Lord or God to be saved. The Father, then, is God 's other personality. the way God makes his decisions. But in all cases Jesus is the way God speaks to us and saves us. And there is yet another personality of God, the Holy Spirit, the way God inspires us to believe in what he is doing as Jesus. Pleas consider this!
