    I just saw this question:

Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one (Adam) man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

Sin nature or fallen DNA passed upon all creation which is why we needed a redeemer or savior.

1 Corinthians 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

Hebrews 4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Jesus was without sin as our high priest.

It's good that u read every now and then but you should read it often and not just one book. Daily Bible reading is a Christians way of growth. Here are some scripture references for you to look up that talk about the pow of God's word and what it can do for you when you read them often; Joshua 1:8, Matthew 4:4, Psalm 119:97, 2 Timothy 2:15, 2 Timothy 3:14-17, Psalm 1:2-3, Acts 17:11, John 6:63, Hebrews 4:12, and Ephesians 6:17-20. May God work in your life and show you the importance of reading His word. God bless.

Trinity is not a Bible word, but Godhead is.

1 Thess 5:23 - And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Paul says spirit and soul and body)

Isaiah 10:18 - And shall consume the glory of his forest, and of his fruitful field, both soul and body: and they shall be as when a standardbearer fainteth. (Body and Soul different)

Matthew 10:28 - Jesus said: And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. ..........destroy both soul and body in hell.

Isaiah 26:9 - With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. (Soul and Spirit are different)

Hebrews 4:12 - For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

.... dividing asunder of soul and spirit, (the word of God divides the soul and spirit)

so the Bible ALONE teaches man has a body and a soul and a spirit = 3 parts = 1 man

Genesis 1:26 - And God said, Let US make man in our image, after OUR likeness

Genesis 1:27 - So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Genesis 9:6 - Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.

So IF one man is Body, Soul and Spirit which is 3 parts and God made man in HIS IMAGE

How many parts is God? 3? a Godhead? or trinity?

Hebrews 4:10 says "For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from His." The writer is going back to creation, and he's saying if you surrender to Christ, you will be doing just what God did. You will cease from your own works, and you will enter into God's rest. In 6 days, God created all things. And on the 7th day, He entered into His rest and finished His work. We are still in that 7th day right now called the Time of the Gentiles. What is interesting in the creation account, it says "and it was evening and morning," for each day except the 7th day. But in Genesis Chapter 2, it never says the 7th day ended. It's because it's still today! Many people don't notice that in Genesis Chapter 2, at the end of the 7th day, it doesn't say evening and morning on the 7th day. It's because the Sabbath rest, in creation, parallels and gives the gospel message that Jesus Christ is our Sabbath rest, spiritually. We enter into His rest at our salvation!

The most important is that the holy spirit is moving in these words. The gospel is the word of God, and is not of anyone's private interpretation. Holy men where moved by the spirit. The same spirit that moved on Mary, the same spirit that moved the prophets of old, the same spirit that was on the face of the deep in creation. The holy spirit is a person in the trinity, Christ calls Him the comforter, that was given to those who are baptized into Christ
death and resurrection. This is called redemption of mankind, reconciliation in our creator. Thanks be to Christ our savior. Glory to God in the Highest.

Love Christ ,hear his words. HIS WORDS and his disciples, not mans, only those moved by the holy spirit. Christ came to save us from sin and death. Our Father was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself. Rejoice in this, knowing He has redeemed us through His only begotton Son. Our salvation is complete in HIM.
  • Fred scanlan - In Reply on Hebrews 4 - 4 years ago
through patience in well doing. Trusting His words, and studing to show thyself approved. The guidance of the Holy Spirit will move you and direct you. Be careful for nothing, while always remembering that the evil one will always be watching, sometimes in the littlest things our flesh will always war against our spirit. Most importantly is persistent prayer! Bible says without ceasing, in all thy ways acknowledge Him. God Bless you on your journey

  • Grace Talbert - In Reply - 4 years ago
Jesus Christ was fully human..different though because he never sinned..all other humans sinned.Sin seperates from God.The holy spirit was full in Jesus Christ because there was no sin in him.Jesus Christ was fully human.Body soul and spirit. Hebrews 4:15 tells of Jesus Christ tempted as we were in all points but never sinned.Blessings

the sciptures says it was given because of the hardness of their heart but it was never Gods heart to divorce..i believe type and shadow here is that God would never divorce us
  • Jimmy walker - In Reply on Hebrews 4 - 4 years ago
the writer of hebrews is unknown..although the writer makes mention of timothy and others that makes me believe that it was paul but this debatable..the scriptures do say that paul was called to the uncircumcision and peter to the circumcision so some could argue that it wasnt paul and could be peter..in the end we wont really know till we see Jesus

    Great question Ira,

Here is a great scripture to think on. God Almighty is a God of life and love for HIS creation. HE sent His Son to set the perfect example for us to follow. We are also direct creations from God yet we have sin Jesus does not. I hope this helps.

    Hebrews 4:15 KJV
For we have not a high priest who is not able to be touched by the feelings of our feeble flesh; but we have one who has been tested in all points as we ourselves are tested, but without sin.

    Hebrews 4:15 ISV
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses. Instead, we have one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet he never sinned.

Robert, the actual author is unknown but the writings favor Paul--there may be other writers but the most accepted is Paul.

Hi Ruben the changes that I shared about with you are not in the KJV they are in other Translations including the it in Hebrews 4:12 I'm not refering to their latest Translations only the ones I was useing before I changed to reading the KJV The Cult Translations have changed wording again in some of their newer Translations and other well known Translations have done the same. Blessings -Annie.

The pharisees accused Jesus' disciples of working on the Sabbath, not Jesus. Plus, is eating really 'working'? They were hungry and picked grain and ate it. He healed someone, but is that really 'work' to Jesus? If He started building a chair in His shop that would seem more of a real Sabbath violation in my view. Matthew 12.
  • Regis beaken - In Reply on Hebrews 4 - 5 years ago
You are wrong. It isn't faith and words, but deeds. Therefore the old saying, "action speaks louder than words". Jesus worked on the sabbath, as many do today. AND HE MADE IT A POINT THAT MOST PEOPLE DO WORK.
  • Cindy - In Reply on Hebrews 4 - 5 years ago
Jesus is our Sabbath. We rest in him. The Sabbath day was a shadow of rest in Jesus. Keeping the Sabbath is not rest in Christ. It is part of the law which can not enter you into rest only God's grace through your faith can do that. Trusting in the work of Jesus on the cross is how we find rest not a work of the flesh.

We are in this body of flesh: on earth: we have to deal with: the world: the flesh: and the devil. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
Hebrews 4:15: There is none righteous, no not one. All our righteousness are as filthy rags. Because of Jesus, God sees us righteous .
