Yes we all come from Adam but as Esdras writes in, 2 Esdras 6:56

"As for the other people which also come of Adam, thou hast said that they are nothing, but be like vnto spittle, and hast likened the abundance of them vnto a drop that falleth from a vessell." God does not care for the other nation because he will return for his lost Tribes

    Hello my brothers and sisters,

Our Eternal Father loves us all so much. Keep your faith in Him. He will never leave you. Trust in Him to know what is best for you as He knows everything. Trust proves love.

"God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Jesus Christ died for us."

"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the children of God.

For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us."

"For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

    We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;

    Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus be made manifest in our body."

"Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:"

"Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you."

You are all in my prayers. "Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." God Bless everyone!

This means a spiritual or metaphorical father, not a birth or literal father. What's interesting is in the same verse in John 8:44 if you notice at the end satan is also called the 'father of lies'. So, does that mean he literally gives birth to them and a lie baby comes out? Nope, it's a metaphor. Just like when Jesus said to eat his flesh and blood he didn't mean to literally engage in cannibalism.

On Angels not being able to father children what about the fallen angels that followed satan, they left Heaven and found the daughters fair and took them that they wanted that is why there were geber "gaints" that is what the Noah flood was about

    Hi Ken Reeder,

Many believe that it took Noah about 100 years to build the ark, (with the help of his three sons).

Noah was commissioned to build the ark by God at approximately the same time his three sons were born (not triplets), look at Genesis 5:32, 6:10-14.

Noah was 600 years old when the ark was finished ( Genesis 7:6).

Genesis is an amazing book, one of my personal favorites!

    Blessings

Satan was not Cains father. Where did you get that? Cain was Adam and Eves son. Satan is a angel ( a bad angel). There fore he could not have sex with Eve. Angels do not have sex for they are neither male or female.

Noah went in the ark when 600 years old. Stayed in ark about 1 year. 601 is Noah's age. Genesis 5:32, 7:6, 7:12, 7:17, 7:24, 8:3,4,5,6,10,13

True Fred, The gates of hell will not prevail against the Lord Jesus's bride, the True Church of God. However there may be members who crept in unawares. Members of this Body need to prove first each others repentance experiences and then their walk in Christ whether it has the fruits of Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, Spirit which is also His Holy Spirit that guides the whole Church and individual born again members in His Holy and undefiled ways, with love and mercy and grace. All made possible by the finished work of Jesus Christ at Calvary in and on the cross of suffering for our sins so that we as souls can find redemption from our dead works that will have only have lead us to eternal separation, death and hell in the eternal lake of fire reserved for Satan and the fallen angels. This place, this Hell has no pull on the saved believing soul, and this same soul in reasonable service should be compelled to warn others by living, preaching the Word and Truth of the Gospel of Christ Jesus or Savior and friend. Why this Gospel is being made more complicated to where children of this earth cannot come to Jesus is of the anti-Christ.

And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of Antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducee. Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. I have taken these scriptures as they appear before me as I read other comments. The anti Christ will deceive the very elect!

To Andy, The Gospel is not for the purpose of read and repent and repeat like you would have many us to do. Please provide us your personal experience on how the revelation changed your soul from a sinner to a saved soul. Andy, just because in your old state you saw things likely the exact same scriptures that you are quoting incorrectly and in your new state you see scriptures correctly tells your readers nothing. Regarding the Harlot, she will aways be a Harlot, avoid her street. In time I will try to order your book to try to understand you better since you only repeat here what you won't say.

    To CARLETON

Please read 1 Cor. 2:14 and John 8:43-45. Both readings will explain why you have such a difficult time understanding our testimony, which is of God (Cor. 2:1).

Regarding our revelations, which are from God also, we invite you to read: Daniel 12:4,9; Amos 3:7; Matthew 16:17; Luke 2:26; Romans 16:25; 1 Cor. 2:10; Gal. 1:12,16; Eph. 3:3,5; Rev. 1:1.

Google the title of the book and you will find us.

    In His Service.

Cain lived to a ripe old age. He was likely killed in a fist fight. It's in Genesis.

This answer is not given in the Bible. Only through rabbinical or extrabiblical literature.

Some believe he was accidentally killed by a blind man who was hunting, while others believe a stone house fell upon him.

In terms of the Bible we are left to wonder as he was sent into endless wander.

    Wesley's Notes for Genesis 5:24

5:24 He was not, for God took him - That is, as it is explained, # Heb 11:5, he was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him. But why did God take him so soon? Surely because the world, which was now grown corrupt, was not worthy of him. Because his work was done, and done the sooner for his minding it so closely. He was not, for God took him - He was not any longer in this world: it was not the period of his being, but of his being here. He was not found; so the apostle explains it from the seventy; not found by his friends, who sought him, as the sons of the prophets sought Elijah, # 2Kings 2:17. God took him body and soul to himself in the heavenly paradise, by the ministry of angels, as afterwards he took Elijah. He was changed, as those saints shall be that will be found alive at Christ's second coming.

Comment by Mishael: much like Adam in Genesis; before he and Eve ate the fruit.

There are two that the Bible speaks of: Enoch ( Genesis 5:22-24); and Elijah ( 2 Kings 2:9-11).

The Jewish Midrash speaks of a further six people who didn't face death, but these cannot be verified in the Canon of Scripture, so are not given here as factual.

Hi Joseph, maybe I misunderstood your question. I thought you were referencing specifically to Adam.

Even though these events appear to have happened in chronological order as they are recorded in the Bible, it is possible that the other men and women were the sons and daughters of Adam and Eve. Genesis 5:4 Adam lived 930 years before he died.

We do not know how much time had passed before Cain knew his wife. I believe the bloodline has a lot to do with the seed that God spoke about in Genesis 3:15, which we know is Christ. Something to consider!

You have to read all the way from Genesis until his death is recorded in Geneology.

He was 1st Adam until he lost that Due to the fall. Jesus is 2nd Adam.

Out of curiosity, what did Adam accomplished during his lifespan
  • Bendito Palavra - In Reply on Genesis 5 - 4 years ago
The importance of this verse is that the LORD preserved a godly seed in the midst of a corrupt generation.

"Mahalaleel" means "praise of God" , and "Jared" means "descent".

If you look in Luke chapter 3 verse 37, you will see both their names are in the lineage of Jesus Christ who is the promised "seed of the woman" of Genesis 3:15 who would bruise the head of the serpent, Satan.

Jesus, the Son of God, became our Savior from sin by sacrificially dying our death on the cross and rising from the dead, granting all who trust in him forgiveness and everlasting life.

I randomly had a verse in mind for my partner which was Genesis 5v15 and I'm still not understanding the message it has for him or both of us but I'm trusting what and how my heart interprets it. I do need further guidance and understanding please.
