TO AWAL - GEN. 17:10; GALATIANS 5:2 -- NO CONTRADICTION; THE O.T. WAS A DIFFERENT DISPENSATION OF TIME FROM THE N.T.THE O.T. LAWS WERE PHYSICAL - A 'SHADOW' OF THE N.T. 'GRACE' OF GOD'S SPIRITUAL LAWS. THE O.T. LAWS COULD NOT SAVE US; THEY JUST 'ROLLED BACK' THE PEOPLE'S SINS FOR ONE YEAR, THEN ALL THE SACRIFICISES HAD TO BE DONE AGAIN. BUT THE CIRCUMCISION ONLY ONCE.

What sin? Men do not take away sin. It takes blood. Jesus takes away sin. The Saved had their sins taken away and are free from the law of sin and death. Sin is a transgression of law. SO by which law will you call sin? No man is justified by law in the sight of God, un fact it made all guilty who were under it needing Jesus. What makes us think anyone will be justified if we measure them by it? Again, which law? Galatians 5:18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. ---No higher law. Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. Sin? You've got to be kidding me if you're calling sin on the saved. They are "IN HIM". 1 John 3:5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins and in him is no sin. Thank you Jesus.

This Galatians 5:4 is a comparison between the two remedies for sin. One is under the old dispensation law and the other under the new dispensation grace . The falling away from grace means that a returning to the keeping of the law for justification before God is in fact a moving away from Grace, which is the only acceptable method for righteousness before God. Please not that I submitted this comment earlier, but inadvertently cited Romans 5:4 instead of Galatians 5:4. Kindly excuse the error.

We have been freed from spiritual bondages, sin, curses, destruction and from the hands of the enemy, therefore it is good for us to stay away from sin and to worldly desires but rather we should pray that God will fill us with his love so that we will be like him.

This passage as well as others, is here as a guide for us to follow in Christ's footsteps. As Christians ,the fruit of the Spirit is a requirement . I see it and accept it as in depth cleansing of the old self and me becoming a new creature, this will not happen overnight, but will happen if one is willing to let God through the Holy Spirit come into our hearts and reside there.

I love Verse 22 and 23 best about the Fruit of the Spirit from God.These fruits do not just come out overnight. Just like regular fruit trees, the farmer plants the seeds, water the plants and sooner or later the fruits come out. some take longer than others to bear fruits. Each us need to work on each fruit continuously by renewing our minds daily until we cultivate all the FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT.

Originally i was one of many who believed once saved always saved, but not anymore. We have to endure to the end mainly turning away from sin, and walking in the spirit under grace through faith in christ our lord and savior, and not by the works of the law. This passage is crystal clear to me, and was spoken from Jesus. "And you will be hated by all for my names sake, but he who endures to the end shall be saved " Mathew 24:10 12 talks about many believers during tribulation that will fall away. Revelations 14:9-11 talks about the punishment to those that takes up the mark of the beast. Revelations 3:15,16 explains what Jesus will do to all the lukewarm believers. You are eitherwith him and God or with the enemy, the adversary, and there is no inbetween. Galatians 5:4 Hebrews 10:26 are important scriptures to consider as well. So basically, we have to endure to the very end by turning away from sins, and abiding by Jesus 's commands to love God with all our hearts, all our souls, all our strength, and to love our neighbors. Show unconditional love towards our brothers and sisters because "love " covers a multitude of sins 1Peter 4:8 this is Jesus 's greatest commandment of all. God bless everyone, and peace be with you all! Amen!

Bro. Daniel FC 's on Ryan Jashua Shepperd 's comment about verse 4. Part Two: Yes, we are all saved by grace only and no one can boast. In Romans chapter 7, Apostle Paul makes it clear: 7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. 12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good . Lip service only, to God, is not going to be enough. According to Jesus Himself: Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven but he that DOES the will of my Father which is in heaven. And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work INIQUITY Matt. 7: 21, 23 . The word iniquity according to Strong s concordance has the following meanings: 1. the condition of without law 2. because ignorant of it 3. because of violating it 4. contempt and violation of law, iniquity, wickedness. Remember: We keep the Moral Law not in order to be saved, but BECAUSE WE ARE SAVED AND LOVE THE LORD. Does that make sense?

Bro. Daniel FC 's on Ryan Jashua Shepperd 's comment about verse 4: how totally impossible it is to SIN our way into heaven Hi Ryan, are you saying that keeping the Ten Commandments is sin? Last time I checked, sin is the transgression of the law 1John 3:4 : not trying to keep it. In his letter to the Galatians, Apostle Paul is talking to the new converts who were misled by those maintaining that you need to be circumcised in order to be saved. Please don t confuse the Ceremonial Laws fulfilled by Jesus and rendered obsolete with the Moral Laws, which every Christian must live by.

Galatians 5 is a guide to live by if you know Christ Jesus and I am glad to know My Jesus for without him I probably wouldn 't be here now. I look at it as a way to check myself daily to make sure I have stayed in the right, and to ask forgiveness if I haven 't.

I thank God because this verse is encouraging me to know that "WHOSOEVER IS TROUBLING MY SPIRIT " WILL BARE HIS JUDGEMENT. MEANING GOD IS GOING TO STOP THE PERSON THAT HAS BEEN TROUBLING MY SPIRIT. THE SPIRIT OFWITCHCRAFT. WILL BE NO MORE AND THE PERSONS THAT HAVE BEEN RESPONSIBLE GOD IS GOING TO CUT THEM OFF. TOUCH NOT MY ANOINTED AND DO MY PROPHET NO HARM. WE CANNOT MESS WITH GOD 'S ANOINTED ONES. JESUS SAID THAT HIMSELF.
