Discuss Galatians 5

Concerning a Friday crucifixion or Sunday resurrection, I won't get into that here, except to quote Luke 24:1, "Now upon the first day of the week.." And that is a Sunday, which follows the seventh day of the week, a Saturday/Sabbath.

You did well to quote Galatians 5:18-25: showing that we are not under the Law, which means that we are free from its ultimate purpose: that of revealing human spiritual & mental frailty & resulting condemnation. If we break even one Law, we have broken all & remain condemned ( James 2:10). There was nothing wrong at all with the Law ( Romans 7:12), but its purpose was to lead men to Christ, not to be resurrected again by those now in Christ as some sort of rule book to follow & please God by. The only way to please the LORD is to do His Will, following the dictates of His Holy Spirit He has given us. If we use the Decalogue as some sort of yardstick to measure our spiritual standard & acceptance to God, then we have failed & missed the whole point of Christ's Sacrifice & the great matchless worth of the New Covenant in His Blood. Thank you for your time.

    (1 Corinthians Part 20a):

1 Corinthians 12:30 - Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?

The answer to all these is no! There are groups today that teach that speaking in tongues is confirmation that you're saved. And when you relate to them that it says here that not everybody speaks in tongues, we must ask how does that work?

They have no idea that the answer is included right in the actual question itself! Their answer is yes. But no, they are wrong because the text says no! Do all interpret, that is, explain languages? Nope! Not everybody has everything. We are all various parts.

1 Corinthians 13:1 - Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

He starts out by saying "Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity," The word charity in the King James text is the word AGAPE in Greek. And there are different words in Greek for different kinds of love. Over the years, the church has relegated Agape to be something special. But not that special, because we think we can produce it!

Agape is the fruit of God's Spirit according to Galatians 5:22, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love." And that word love is Agape. God's Spirit produces Agape. 1 John 4:8 tells us that God is Agape. It's His nature. Agape love includes sacrifice. Agape is the concern for someone's spiritual welfare. God exhibited that toward us in that "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son."

Good evening! That I may add a thought to the discussion of a carnal Christian. A quote from an anabaptist preacher. "The believers who are carnal respond to the influence of the flesh within them, and those who are spiritual respond to the influence of the indwelling Spirit of Christ."

Romans 8:5-6 reminds us to be carnally minded is death as the carnal mind wars with God and does not want to subject itself to the will of God. The minister quotes "Carnality is a manifestation of the flesh within. Every Christian's walk will manifest the mind of the flesh within or the mind of the Spirit within."

He also says "Both the carnal Christian and the carnal Christian are possessors of the same Spirit, but the carnal Christian is quenching and grieving the Spirit or does not understand the voice of the Spirit." Paul's reproof in Romans and to the Corinthians is they were not yielded to the Spirit. The yielded spirit to the Spirit will make unity within the Church.

"The spiritual Christian has his will lost in the will of God. He feels himself poor and needy, and he relies entirely on the will of God. He has crucified his flesh with the lust thereof, and the sinful nature does not influence his life. The fruit of the Spirit is evidenced in him. Galatians 5:22-24

His thought being we should not promote the flesh allowing for the easy turning by the Spirit towards his will.

Good Will to men came in the babe in the manger within.

The importance of "reflecting Christ's image" and not our own.

    Part 5.

This description is easy. Take a look at Galatians 5:22 for the characteristics that God sets down for these Christians. Paul says that one walking by the Spirit is filled with all "the fruit of the Spirit"-Love (Agape), joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance."

This description is then amplified in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 where Paul says, "Agape suffereth long, and is kind; [His Love] envieth not; [His Love] vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not [its] own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. [God's Love] never fails."

When I think of a spiritual Christian, there is one person in our ministry who always comes to mind. She is one who is willing to be a total servant to others. Nothing is too hard for her or beneath her. As I look around the Christian body, it's amazing to me how very few of these "servant heart" people there really are; Christians who are willing to scrub the toilet if necessary, work in the kitchen if needed or bebehind the scenes.

Humility, again, is the word that best describes a spiritual Christian. Most Christians, unfortunately, want to be up in front where they can be seen as "spiritual." They want the visible jobs! A Christian with a servant's heart is one who is only interested in what God thinks. And thus, they are willing to do whatever job is required. The Bible tells us that God's eyes are toward the humble, the unpretentious and the one who is free from pride.

The importance of "reflecting Christ's image" and not our own

    Part 4

Soulish believers try to satisfy their curiosity by studying prophecy. They believe that knowing mentally is the same thing as possessing experientially. They have greatacquired knowledge, but notSpirit-revealedknowledge. It's important to note, however, that increased spiritual head-knowledge will often strengthen our carnality, deceiving us into thinking we are spiritual.

The danger of the above is that because God's Spirit is suppressed, the soulish and bodily realm will rule, allowing the power of darkness to get an advantage. God designed thesanctification processto remove all hindrances so that the Holy Spirit can control us.Sanctification is simply the process of restoring the image of Christ in us. Unfortunately, many carnal Christians are unwilling to pay that price.

Thus, you can be born again by the Spirit and yet still spend 90% of your time in the soulish realm. If this is the case, your ministry and teaching will not produce any real life or power. Listen to John 6:63, "It is the Spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing..."

Ask yourself, do any of the above characteristics describe you? If so, allow the Holy Spirit to personally reveal them to you and, in response, deal with them as God would have youbeforeyou get captured like that above traveler.

Other "works of the flesh" are described in Galatians 5:19-21: "Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and the like."

Characteristics of a Spiritual Christian (Spiritual Man)

Let's now describe a "spiritual Christian," one who not only has been born anew but who is also walking by the Spirit, thereby glorifying the Lord.

    (Acts Part 53):

Acts 24:24 - And after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, which was a Jewess, he sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ.

The term "the faith in Christ," is literally translated the into Christ faith. It has a very special meaning. In Greek, it is in the Attributive Position. It is the faith into Christ. Not in Him, but into Him. The preposition always shows a shift in transfer of trust from oneself to someone else. Not believing psychological truth or the mental truth about Christ, but rather entrusting one's life to Christ.

Acts 24:25 - And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.

Paul ministered to them about three things:

First, righteousness. When you're speaking to a Roman authority, righteousness means lined up with the justice system. Second, of temperance (or self-control). The word for self-control, EGKRATOS, means to be gripped from within, to be held or controlled from within. Galatians 5:22 tells us that EGKRATOS is a fruit of God's Spirit.

Interesting because he's talking to Felix and his wife Drusilla. Drusilla at this time according to historical documents is not even 20 years old yet. Felix was struck with her beauty. Over a period of time, he talked her into divorcing her husband and coming and living with him. So, here's a man who's been told about righteousness, what's right, and self-control. Obviously, the man has no self-control. He is impulsive. He has to have what he wants.

Third thing is judgment to come. The Greek indicates any moment. You can imagine Felix is feeling a little shaky! In fact, it tells us that Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; (literally for now), and when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.

Thanks brother Jesse for your reply. Yes, this is certainly an amazing portion of Scripture, not simply of the sudden appearances & disappearances of Jesus (as some would focus on), but what those two (Peter & Cleopas) & the others later, would have gone through mentally & spiritually as they observed & considered the things that were happening before their eyes. Even when their "hearts burned within them", they sensed something extraordinary was taking place, but their 'held' eyes & mind must have caused them much internal conflict. If walking with the Lord Jesus during His days of ministry wasn't astonishing & breath-taking enough, here they are now fully understanding Him & seeing His Words fulfilled, with His Power & Glory radiating through His Presence.

Indeed, what a great study in Luke 24 as we even allow our hearts to engage with those in that chapter to the wonder of it all. As my heart & mind is so engaged presently, the Lord reminded me of another occasion where His Power was manifested. If I could take a little more time to encourage those who read this & for the praise & Glory of God alone. That whatever situation we find ourselves in, if we are truly His children purchased with His Own Blood, we can rest assured that He is always there, mindful of us, and will perform His Will to the praise of His Name. "If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit" ( Galatians 5:25), as "obedient children". Onto Page 2.

Hello JBTthe3rd. The word 'Sanctification' is from the Latin, 'sanctificare' (to make holy), and 'sanctus' (holy). We also get the word, 'Saint' from this word. The very real meaning of 'Separation' is also involved in this word, as that which is unholy cannot fuse with that which is holy, but must be set apart from it.

We can look at Sanctification in generally three aspects:

    a. a true believer in God, having been saved & redeemed through Jesus' Sacrifice, is said to be 'Positionally Sanctified'. That is, by virtue of now being a child of God, through Jesus His Son, the Christian is Separated & made Holy unto God by this position in Christ ( 1 Corinthians 1:30; 1 Peter 1:2).

    b. as the believer walks this new separated life, he is also 'Experientially Sanctified'. When we grow in knowledge & experience of our Lord & Savior, we grow to be more like Jesus, hating & avoiding sin and displaying more & more of the Fruit of the Holy Spirit ( Philippians 2:13, Galatians 5:22-25).

    c. we can know that we are truly in Christ, separated from the world & its lusts; we can also desire to grow to be more Christ-like in all our ways; but since the pull of the flesh is always at war with our spirit, we long for the day for our 'Future Sanctification', when our earthly struggles will be over and we will be taken into Christ Jesus' Presence (whether in the Rapture or through the veil of death), and we will be entirely perfect (without any stain of sin) & become as He is Holy & Perfect ( 1 John 3:1-3, Ephesians 5:27, Jude 1:24,25).

Thank you David0921 for your response. I would align myself with most of what you've written concerning biblical inspiration, that the Word of God is indeed wholly authored by God. Yet, when I read 2 Timothy 3:16, that "ALL scripture is given by the inspiration of God", I would be in conflict with some who hold fervently that what we read now (from the ancient recordings, also the KJB) are the actual Words that God (by His Spirit) spoke to godly men to write. "Inspiration" to me, doesn't mean that God dictated the Words to record, nor does it mean that the fingers of the writers were gripped by Him to pen those holy Words. Rather, as men recorded down what they saw or learned, God's Spirit was present to help them record accurately and remember correctly. That said, since you brought it up, I'll move on.

"What do I believe the Bible says about the term BORN AGAIN?" When we have Scriptures such as John 3:3-8, 1 Peter 1:22-23, 1 John 2:29, 1 John 5:1, & others in John's epistle, we can believe that this re-birth is wholly of God & not of man's doing or involvement; that re-birth is a spiritual birth, whereby God gives us a new spirit (His Spirit) Who always inclines us towards God & His Son; that God's Ministry to us can only be to our revived spirit in us and not to the flesh that has no desire after godly things. Therefore, we are to continue to crucify our flesh which lusts against the Holy Spirit ( Galatians 5:17) in us & distracts us from serving God acceptably & in fear. Therefore, by the Holy Spirit in us, we have become new creatures in Christ Jesus, reckoning ourselves to be dead unto sin but alive unto God through Jesus Christ. This re-birth must be the final Work of God in the sometimes lengthy course in a person's struggle dealing with conviction of sin, brokenness, humility, & cry for a Savior to save & redeem him. (continued on Page 2).

    My input on "eternal security".

Having gone to some lengths in discussing subjects such as Predestination and things related to this subject I thought I would

present some logic to consider this concept. A primary idea that I have discussed elsewhere is related to Galatians 2:20. To live in new life necessitates a DEATH blow to our old self. If not then we are still trying to do things in our own strength; and since we cannot save ourselves (see Titus 3:5) there is no way to please God in the flesh. Clearly this doesn't spell the end of our struggles on earth; as Paul states in Romans 7:23. Interestingly; he mentions the word "law" in regard to both the pull of the flesh that remains AND that of the Spirit of God; we see similar verses describing war between the desires of the flesh and that of the Spirit in Galatians 5:17.

Serving the Lord; therefore must be out of the love and resulting obedience in God. It has to surpass our human desires; no matter how noble they may seem. It counters our own loves and hates and brings us into conformity with Christ through the Spirit so that we can especially LOVE our ENEMIES which is not possible in the same way with our flesh. We could conceivably

tolerate a wicked man or be in submission out of fear but not seek his deliverance and serve selflessly expecting nothing in return in our own strength. As I have stated in other posts as well we also warn the wicked of their calamity; and that includes all those who seemingly are kind and compassionate; FRIENDS and enemies as well. As showing love toward mean people is impossible; we also have to warn those who seem like "good people" as well; despite our flesh trying to make our relationship with them (wife; husband; mother; father or best friend) seem to somehow absolve them from the fate of all of the rest of mankind.

So in this posting I am stating that our works (i.e. good fruits) as well as thoughts and what we say display whether He is truly in us.

Filled with the Spirit-The corporate worship experience (Focus on laypersons)

Reading the first chapter of Philippians for a detailed analysis for a special Sunday school project we are doing in the short term I realize that elders and deacons were established fairly quickly in the early church. It has taken me some time to understand somewhat what each of these roles is supposed to be (elder being essentially same as Pastor; and Deacon I believe being a sort of "helps" ministry). Honestly I haven't been in a church with a Bishop so I won't try to figure that out; I'll leave that to others.

I examined the other day how the Ephesians church seemed to have everything right and lost its first love ( Rev. 2:4 if I remember correctly). It would seem although I couldn't prove it that new and excited converts may have been a missing factor. We are; of course admonished on those who receive the Gospel immediately and with joy but have no root ( Mark 4:17) in the first part of the Parable of the Sower and the Seed. Both extremes need to be avoided; joy is second next to love which clearly had disappeared ( Galatians 5:22). After all; there is nowhere that states that we cannot have continual joy; but as with a marriage maturity tends to make our perspective change as we delve more into the "meat" of the scriptures.

When it comes to interaction in a church of course it helps when a Pastor is genuinely glad to see congregants on a given Sunday; and especially other days of the week when they wish to discuss something. Again; large churches make this more difficult and the advice Jethro gave Moses to get wise decisionmakers under him rather than taking on menial burdens fits this situation ( Exodus 18:13-27). Of course it is good when we also rejoice and show appreciation for our Pastor. This of course has to go beyond common courtesies; and we should want to do more than just put our time in and check off a box. Unforgiveness on either end stifles the Spirit

James 2:9-12: James is writing in these verses about those who would "keep (fully obey) the whole law", yet go astray even by committing one sin in a moment of time, having demonstrated their inability to keep (continually uphold) the Law as required. "So speak ye ( James 1:26), and so do ( James 2:17), as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty (the Law believers are under, 2 Corinthians 2:17, Galatians 5:1, James 1:25)". The Law of Liberty, can also be referred to the Law of the Spirit Who gives Liberty ( 2 Corinthians 3:17, Romans 8:2), assures our hearts that we are accepted of the Lord because we have been forgiven & the Gift of the Holy Spirit continually ministers to our hearts & lives to help us live holy lives or lead us/discipline us when we stray off course.

This Liberty, the Law could never give - Israel always remained fearful of it, eventually leading them into idolatry & debauchery, but to those IN Christ Jesus there is now no condemnation who walk after the Spirit ( Romans 8:1) - we should not be bound to the letter that had as its goal to expose & destroy souls, but to the Spirit Who gives Power & Life to obey God perfectly, "hating even the garment spotted by the flesh" ( Jude 1:23). Only the Laws given us by the Spirit to our hearts cover every area of our lives, ministering to us in His Way (& not in human strength), so we can live above the letter's demands but as new creations in Christ. There was nothing wrong with the 10 Commandments, for they are from God & His Truth - but they were for Israel alone, for their conduct before God & man, to show them their sin, God's requirements, & prepare them to approach God in Love, Truth, & Faith. All who did at that time were accepted by their faith alone ( Hebrews 11:39,40) & not on how well they kept the Law. Romans 8:3,4 (we allow the righteousness of the Law to work & be fulfilled in us by God's Spirit - never appealing to the letter, which is devoid of life). Every blessing.

    Evangelizing.

Some seems to prefer to minister to only other believers and have very little to say to unbelievers.

They are quick to judge and tell them where they are going but don't offer them the only way of escape. The Gospel.

In John 17:20 we see Jesus praying for our ministering to them.

    "Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

I once copied an article on Evangelism. Here's how it reads.

    Part 1.

To evangelize means to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with someone else. Personal evangelism should be the lifestyle of every true Christian. We've been given a great gift, and our Master left us with clear instructions: "Go into all the world and make disciples of every nation" Matthew 28:19. Before we can "make disciples," we must evangelize. There are other reasons, besides Jesus' command, that should also motivate us to share the greatest news in the world with people who haven't heard it:

Evangelism is an act of love. Love must be the defining characteristic of every follower of Jesus Christ John 13:35; 1 Corinthians 13:1-7. It is a fruit of the Holy Spirit, so anyone who walks in the Spirit will demonstrate love in dealing with people Galatians 5:16, 22-23. We possess the best news in the world, and love propels us to share it with those who haven't heard. Love wants everyone to have a chance to respond to God's offer of salvation. Withholding news that could save someone's life is the utmost cruelty; therefore, those who truly love God will love the people whom Jesus came to save John 3:16-18; 1 John 4:20.

Evangelism builds our own faith. Nothing helps us learn a subject like teaching it to someone else. When we make a practice of sharing our faith with those in our lives, we strengthen our own beliefs. Regular evangelism forces us to wrestle through the hard questions, find answers for ourselves, and prepare to respond to the questions of others.

    An article on fruit barring.

    Part 1.

In the natural world, fruit is the result of a healthy plant producing what it was designed to produce ( Genesis 1:11-12). In the Bible, the word fruit is often used to describe a person's outward actions that result from the condition of the heart.

Good fruit is that which is produced by the Holy Spirit. Galatians 5:22-23 gives us a starting place: the fruit of His Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. The more we allow the Holy Spirit free rein in our lives, the more this fruit is evident ( Galatians 5:16, 25). Jesus told His followers, "I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit-fruit that will last" ( John 15:16). Righteous fruit has eternal benefit.

Jesus told us clearly what we must do to bear good fruit. He said, "Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing" ( John 15:4-5). A branch must stay firmly attached to the trunk to stay alive. As disciples of Christ, we must stay firmly connected to Him to remain spiritually productive. A branch draws strength, nourishment, protection, and energy from the vine. If it is broken off, it quickly dies and becomes unfruitful. When we neglect our spiritual life, ignore the Word of God, skimp on prayer, and withhold areas of our lives from the scrutiny of the Holy Spirit, we are like a branch broken off the vine. Our lives become fruitless. We need daily surrender, daily communication, and daily-sometimes hourly-repentance and connection with the Holy Spirit in order to "walk in the Spirit and not fulfill the lusts of the flesh" ( Galatians 5:16).

    Part 3.

How should Christian treat one another?

We are to be at peace with one another, forgive one another, have mercy on one another.

    Just a few references.

    1 Thessalonians 4:9

    Ephesians 4:32

    Galatians 5:26

    Galatians 6:2

    Matthew 7:12

    1 John 4:7

However, we don't lie or deceive one another for the sake of peace. The truth hurts sometimes but it promotes spiritual growth providing that the Christ spirit is in the person.

    BELEIVERS SHUNNING OTHER BELEIVERS.

To shun is to deliberately avoid something or someone. In the Bible, the word shun is applied to evil. Job 1:8, Job 28:28, Proverbs 3:7-8 Proverbs 14:16. So, shunning evil is good.

There is scripture that promotes excommunication. Matthew 18:15-17; 2 Thessalonians 3:14. but do we do it for harm or Good? What's the intent?

In any case, it would seem that extreme forms of shunning, such as considering someone "dead," utterly ignoring him, or refusing to acknowledge his existence, go beyond what Scripture commands.

After all, Jesus said that, when someone is put out of the church, he should be treated as "a pagan or a tax collector" Matthew 18:17. In other words, treat an intractable offender as an unsaved person.

How are we to treat the unsaved? With love and grace.

The "pagans and tax collectors" need to be evangelized. We are to love even our enemies ( Matthew 5:44).

The goal of excommunication and any form of shunning is restoration ( Galatians 6:1).

The purpose of any type of discipline is to prompt repentance and, ultimately, to reunite our fallen brother or sister with the church body. Being officially ostracized from the church, the sinner might be brought to repentance.

When the man in the Corinthian church later realized that he had sinned against God, he repented and came back to the church for forgiveness and reinstatement. Fellowship with the Corinthian believers was restored ( 2 Corinthians 2:6-11).

Isn't it hateful to ignore or shun other believers?

Mission Statements: A vision for the future.

A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump. ( Galatians 5:9).

And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse. ( Malachi 4:6)

The first verse serves as a warning for any so called "revivals"; the last is related to the end times witness of Elijah and probably John the Baptist as a forerunner in his time. A church consists as any other element of society of individuals and a collective group and the sum is greater than its parts at least in the case of a healthy church. If we study the Laodiceans in particular however we could say the opposite; that the power is truly only in the hands of a few that will receive a reward; and/or make the Rapture (at least for those who are deceiving themselves as to having saving faith).

One major concept that needs to be grasped is that we are all as the Body of Christ working for the same goal and should find ways to work with different local and international ministries that are preaching truth. There of course needs to be careful consideration for any signs of associations with those ministries that clearly have spurious doctrines about key theological issues. In general the vision should focus on fulfilling the Great Commission rather than always planning on grandiose and exorbitant construction of new facilities; conferences etc. To help discipleship efforts within and without must be a key priority. Leadership needs to be open to the Spirit's leading in regard to changes and transitions in the future; having competent financial accounting but not making a corporate business structure the chief pursuit. Short term mission trips are great for youth especially; as well as having missionaries come visit home churches and do witnessing in our country as well. Group efforts in sharing the Gospel on a regular basis should be a foundation as well.

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. ( Revelation 21:8)

These verses at the end of the Bible and representing the end of the wicked is the end result of those who won't heed to warnings such as 1 Corinthians 6:9-11; see also Galatians 5:19; Ephesians 5:5 and many other scriptures on the subject. We do well to heed to what was said in the last verse of 1 Corinthians 6 of this reference (v. 11) where it states that some were this but they have been sanctified and justified.

There are several issues here that I feel need to be addressed. First is the difference between a sinful lapse; a sinful habit and a sinful lifestyle. All three of these behaviors could be attributed to nonbelievers; albeit in today's society there would be few that would care about a slip up except perhaps some atheists who hold to what they consider a moral standard superior to much of society. Clearly as a Christian we shouldn't play games with God with any type of sin. The third category; however is something that must be abandoned; otherwise there is no fruit of our salvation. Also we undestand that breaking the law in one area makes us guilty of breaking it all ( James 2:10). Often one sin leads to another; whether it is abuse or abandonment of a family due to the greed of a gambling addiction (something which is being advertised currently in local media); or murder stemming from the bad fruit of adultery or fornication that usually is also tied to greed or jealousy; etc.

The word "fearful" in Revelation 21:8 is in many translations "cowardly". It results when men fear man over God which we are to have a healthy fear of and ignores ( Proverbs 29:25). Wanting the praise of men is at least equally if not worse because it compromises our bold witness against sin ( John 12:43).

Hello SheD: I am so sorry to hear how unhappy you are. "Lord I pray that for your child and I ask that Your will be done and this marriage can be healed completely. Please show this sweet sister what it is that You would have her do to begin this healing. You are a great, great God of love and peace and I pray that you will pour all Your love on her and her husband. It seems, Lord, that he may need Your salvation, that his heart is not in the right place with you, so I pray he will be convicted and give his heart to you that Your blessed salvation will be his so he will have the love of Christ in his heart and for his wife. I pray Lord that this sister will put her eyes on you and trust you completely that your will is done. Oh Lord, give her strength to be all that she can be as the wife you would want her to be even if her husband doesn't respond right away. Give her patience mightily to treat this man with Your love and to do it with the fruit of the spirit. Your, precious word says that the way of a wife sanctifies the husband because he sees her loving him as You love her. I pray dear Lord, again, that above all else in this trouble our sister is going through, that Your will be done. and this marriage is healed in a beautiful way. Amen" God Bless :)
