The law referenced is the change that was made after the priesthood was changed. Heb. 7 12. Moses did not have the authority to make any changes of the law. And no angles were involved in putting the Sinai code into effect.
I Praise God that Jesus was willing to die for me and become a curse for me that I may live !!! I don 't have to sin any more I don 't have to be sick any more !!!!! When Jesus was on the cross He took on every sin, sickness, disease that would ever come against me man. I have been bought back Praise the Name of the Lord God forever ever !!!!
Abraham is the father of many nations. Ismael Arab, Issac Hebrew both became prosperous because Abraham is their father. On a spiritual level those that believe in GOD and believe he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him are the children of Abraham. By are faith we are born in the family of GOD.

Paul IS SAYING THAT ABRAHAM BECAME A RIGTEOUS PERSON THROUGH HIS FAITH IN GOD.BECAUSE ABRAHAM MARRIED MORE THAN ONE WIFE WHICH IS A SIN BUT HE WAS MADE RIGHTEOUS
Here Paul quotes Deuteronomy 21:22, 23, which clearly refers to a stake, not a cross. Since such a means of execution made the person a curse, it would not be proper for Christians to decorate their homes with images of Christ impaled.
Read Galatians 3:19-29. The first point is that we are no longer under the law. The law was given for a reason as the scriptural reference states. That aside, pants never existed as at the time when this law was given. I've never come across any portion of the scripture where God assigned pants to be a males dressing. Also Read Galatians 5:13. Ye have been called to liberty ; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. So you clearly see that it's about the state of your heart and you are clearly no longer under the bondage of the law. Gal 3:10. Nuff said.
It is a great scripture that Paul was describing his experience of conversion by removing the old Adam, natural body, which is the source of sin was crucified by punting on Christ, as it was stated in Galatians 3:20. So this means the life he live in in flesh in only by faith that he has in the son of God. It is powerful. for in other part also he mentioned he is dead and his life was hidden in Christ.Blessings!
This clearly says: Why be ashamed of things that are now dead? Reason: You are a new man!! Not the old one. Upon being "Born again" old things have passed away and ended with the flesh. Dead INDEED to sin AND? That's right now. ( Romans 6:11 confirms this.) Romans 6:5 even incredibly says we are like Christ at resurrection!! Amazing. Anyone who thinks we or he/she could fail better ponder LOTS more before denying Jesus's gift to all the Father sent him. Serious business. He won't lose any of them you know. ( John 6:39) The Pharisees did this. Trying to hold even Jesus accountable to the Law which justifies NO ONE. Note we are under GRACE not law after being saved. Do not be a foolish Galatian ( Galatians 3:1-2). Praise the Lord. GOOD news. Best ever. Thank you Jesus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HAVE MORE FAITH IN JESUS on Hebrews 10:26 - 11 years ago
Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.>>> Galatians 5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.(NOTE:no one is ever justifed by the law now as per Galatians 3:11-13)>>>> Romans 10:3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their OWN righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.Romans10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.>>>Now, Listen to OUR LORD JESUS say it, and believe on the FATHER. Why? He said it's needed.>>> John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. Praise him now!! Peace be with you!>> John 11:26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
this is a divine spiritual intervension that God himself in Christ Jesus involve direct to remove any curse that has been placed on humanity as long as we believe in the operation done in the cross of calvary . Deut.
It is not water baptism in Romans 6. If we have trust Christ then within the transaction of faith/grace we are baptized into his death - putting to death the old man and then raised a new creature (literally the seed of God) joined together in Christ. Water baptism is only symbolic of what took place when trust was placed in the Son of God for redempton of sins and His eternal life. Even John's baptism was symbolic of what was to come.
(Verse 21) "As for the tribe of Levi, your relatives, I will pay them for their services in the Tabernacle with the tithes (10% of your income) from the entire land of Israel."
This is a part of the Law of Moses under the old covenant. And as Galatians 3:24 explains, it was given to point us to our coming Savior: "Let me put it another way. The law was our guardian and teacher to lead us until Christ came. So now, through faith in Christ, we are made right with God." What I am saying is, when the Jews gave 10% of their income to support their priesthood, they were supposed to see this as a picture of Christ giving himself to God to support his work. That is, Jesus gave himself to God as as atoning sacrifice to pay for the sins of the world. This was his work for God.
Let me put it this way. God divided the dollar into two parts: 10% and 90%. The 10% pictures Christ giving himself to God to redeem the 90%, the world. It can be no other way, because if Jesus did not die for our sins, it makes no difference what we do. We are still lost in our sins.
This is a hard concept for most people to understand because we are too steeped in pride and self-righteousness to allow our minds to think along these lines. We want to think that we are good, and that we can save ourselves by paying money, or that we dont need any saving at all.
Just think of it: All because of the laws demand, nearly 2,000 years ago, a poor, helpless man in His early 30s was executed by crucifixion like a common criminal. He never wrote a book, never pastured a mega-church, never traveled on an airplane, and never was awarded man-of-the-year. Furthermore, He never took a wife, and never had the pleasure of eating a meal in a fine restaurant. Yet, His death saved us all.
Why? Because His death was a substitutional atonement; that is, the law recognized it as a legal replacement for all mankind, and at the same time the only means by which man could be reconciled to God. Thats why the cross is the symbol of the Christian faith and the crux of human history.
The first two verses and refrain of the old hymn, At the Cross, express this view:
Alas, and did my Savior bleed
And did my Sovreign die?
Would He devote ... [such a] sacred head
For such a worm ... [am] I?
Was it for crimes that I had done?
He groaned upon the tree
Amazing pity! Grace unknown!
And love beyond degree!
At the cross, at the cross where I first saw the light
And the burden of my heart rolled away,
It was there by faith I received my sight,
And now I am happy all the day!
Thank you Lord Jesus, for everything: endless love, the Holy Spirit, reborn faith, a new heart, salvation, truth, hope, peace, and opening the door to being part of you family.
Thank you LORD GOD for bringing Jesus into my life.
27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
Many people ***ume that Paul is speaking of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit in verse 27.But I contend Paul is speaking of WATER BAPTISM. Many of you know that one verse of scripture will prove another verse of scripture. Romans 6 PROVES that it's WATER baptism that causes us to put on Christ. Yes we are certainly JUSTIFIED by faith---WHEN by faith we obey the scriptures.
I receive more than I can take in everytime I read the letters of Paul. I have to read them over and over again for the greatest teachings except those Jesus Himself gave us.
The Blessing of Abraham was clearly To Be The Father of The Faithful... and produce The Son (Christ) through His line. The Promise is Christ Himself. He is The Son of Promise. This is Our blessing now. To Be In Christ by Faith and not the law.
some denominations have used Galatians 3 28 as giving woman right to teach or preach. Paul said no and in first chapter tells of his authority comes from Christ not man, now he said God knows I lie not, How could the meaning be used for woman ministers to teach making Paul a liar
Comments on Galatians Chapter 3:10. FOR AS MANY AS ARE OF THE WORKS OF THE LAW ARE UNDER THE CURSE: FOR IT IS WRITTEN, CURSED IS EVERY ONE THAT CONTINUETH NOT IN ALL THINGS WHICH ARE WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF THE LAW TO DO THEM. I think the whole chapter presents many challenges in understanding correctly our relationship with God and our fellow human beings. If understood incorrectly it can lead to unnecessary pain and suffering, despair, even destruction. Here is what I mean (true story): A young family, with two children; the wife, a musically talented lady in her upper twentys, the daughter of a minister of a particular church, and the husband, a little older but not wiser. At one point, the young husband feeling freed from the Law commits adultery. And of course, since there was no breaking of the Law, (the law being nailed to the cross), he did not feel guilty, and didnt make much of it. But when his wife found out, she decided to divorce him: not because he broke the seventh commandment, but because of infidelity When she told me what happened, and her plans to divorce, I was shocked. I tried my hardest to convince her not to do it. I talked to her about forgiveness in Christ, I asked her to consider the future of her kids without their dad, but to no avail. I finally mentioned Gods commandment found in Matthew 19:6 which says: What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. When she heard that, she said: Brother Daniel, I cant keep the Law! Ive got to go through with the divorce; I dont want to be under the curse of the Law, theres nothing worse than that! But God will take care of me and the kids So, here they were: four people, saved and free from the curse of the Law, and very much cursed by the misinterpretation of one bible verse. Now, is this what the Apostle Paul is teaching in verse 10? Absolutely not! Here, in order to build his case against circumcision, the apostle is quoting the text from Deuteronomy 28:15. IF THOU WILT NOT HEARKEN UNTO THE VOICE OF THE LORD THY GOD, TO OBSERVE TO DO ALL HIS COMMANDMENTS AND HIS STATUTES WHICH I COMMAND THEE THIS DAY; THAT ALL THESE CURSES SHALL COME UPON THEE, AND OVERTAKE THEE: And from verse 16 to verse 68, God pronounces 53 curses against those WHO WILL NOT observe all his commandments and his statutes: Thus, (Paul) is implying that if you want to be circumcised in order to be right with God, then you need to keep the rest of the Sacrificial and Ceremonial Laws. A short overview of the Laws given to the people of Israel by God looks like this: 1. Religious Laws: A) Moral, B) Regarding Tithes and Offerings, C) Sacrificial, D) Ceremonial, A) Moral: a) The Ten Commandments (TTC) b) TTC Expanded B) Tithes and a) The Tenth Offerings, b) First fruits, c) Miscellaneous offerings, C) Sacrificial: a) Sin offerings, b) Peace offerings, c) Burnt offerings, d) Continual offerings, e) Drink offerings, f) Altars, g) Miscellaneous furniture, D) Ceremonial: a) Regarding the Levite priests, b) Regarding the people, c) The First Born, d) The Covenant of circumcision, e) Regarding the Temple/Tabernacle, f) The Feasts, etc. 2. Civil Laws: relating to the rights of the people, the conduct and relations between members of the family and of the community, including the king. 3. Criminal Laws: Same as above Now, the SACRIFICIAL AND CEREMONIAL LAWS make up the body of Law which Apostle Paul calls the schoolmaster which pointed to Christ: Galatians 3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. Today we have no use for circumcision, sin offerings, burnt offerings or any Ceremonial Laws: We have Christ; the Type met the Anti-type. After the Roman Conquest, the Jewish CIVIL AND CRIMINAL LAWS had no teeth, and they were subject to the Roman Laws. No one could implement any of them, except with the approval of the Roman Governor, including Christs crucifixion. So, today the only valid Laws remaining are: The Moral Laws, including the Ten Commandments which Apostle James calls The Royal Law ( James 2:8), and Laws regarding the Tithes and Offerings. In support of this Apostle Paul makes the following statements in Romans Chapter 7: (7) What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. (12) WHEREFORE THE LAW IS HOLY, AND THE COMMANDMENT HOLY, AND JUST, AND GOOD. (16) If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. (22) FOR I DELIGHT IN THE LAW OF GOD AFTER THE INWARD MAN: (25) SO THEN WITH THE MIND I MYSELF SERVE THE LAW OF GOD; Amen.
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: The Beautiful exchange. Jesus took our curse so that we could be blessed, so that we might become the righteousness of God. No one can curse what God has blessed.
The mediator came up with the promised seed Christ Jesus in mind to be that mediator. Since Jesus was basically going to be the very God in flesh,... the point had to be made That God is One so therefore Jesus is not going to be a mediator in the truest sense of the word as he was not going to be a third person between man and God. But God working out His mystery of salvation through Jesus Christ who was the expressed image/flesh that house the spirit of God cannot separate the spirit of God from God.
It's from Deuteronomy 21:23
