Discuss Ezekiel 29

    Hi Jema

Thank you for your reply. What I must say for you and all, is that that is not the good and true allegoric interpretation of the verse 3. We must be careful with him that is in Genesis 3:1, i.e. since the beginning.

Ezekiel 29:2-3 say: -->2Son of man, set thy face against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy against him, and against all Egypt: 3 Speak, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD;Behold,I am against thee,Pharaoh king of Egypt, the GREAT DRAGON ( Revelation 12:9), (who)lieth in the midst of his rivers(now, even now,in the current time,it is as a sea/so,now the GREAT DRAGON lies in the midst of the sea), (who)hath SAID, My river is mine own(now it is as the sea), and I have made it(now made the sea, i.e. peoples, and nations, and multitudes of all tongues)for myself(for himself).

Remember:The letter kills(it is mortal),but the Spirit gives life.GOD is Spirit and is Life.By the way, GOD is in occult under the letter of the Bible(twoedged Sword),as said John the Baptist, the angel of the Lord, saying:"No man hath seen GOD at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, He hath declared Him- John 1:18. And our beloved Lord JESUS revealed, saying: "... no MAN knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any MAN the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal Him. Hallelujaaah!!!

GOD BLESS and stand on the Rock, Amen. And get ready for the great battle of the END of the time between the body of the Lord JESUS-His Church, and the body of the GREAT DRAGON-his devilish Church-of 7 heads, 10 horns and a terrible TAIL. Revelation 13:4 says: And they worshipped (will worship) the Dragon which gave power unto the Beast(unto the MAN Beast of sea- Revelation 13:2): and they worshipped (will worship) the Beast, saying, Who is like unto the Beast? who is able to make war with him?

    Revelation 11:15-18

15 The kingdoms OF THIS WORLD are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever

    Amen

    Zechariah 10

    Verse 1 states:

Ask ye of the Lord rain in the time of the latter rain; so the Lord shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.

There are those who look at the latter rain described in Joel 2:23-27 we see what is similar text (along with the early rain). The final revival of the world likely will fulfill other promises in Joel such as in Joel 2:28 also mentioned at least partially fulfilled in Acts 2:17. We also can't ignore how God has blessed Israel even today with more rainfall then surrounding nations; and no doubt the earth in the Millennium will be fruitful more than ever for the final fulfillment with literal rainy seasons of predictable nature (except for those who don't come to worship God as we see later on in Zechariah).

Verse 2 describes that there were those as if there was no shepherd; apparently struggling into part of verse 3. This reminds us of Christ's statement in Matthew 9:36-38.

Verses 3 and 5 show indications of later verses in Zechariah of Judah fighting against the enemy armies in campaigns related to Armageddon; specifically after the taking of half of the city of Jerusalem. Basically the rest of this chapter shows the unity of Judah and Ephriam and gives glory to Christ as the victor over the enemies. Verses 9 and 10 show an ingathering from Egypt and other places.

The pride of Assyria in verse 11 could be partially fulfilled in the past but Antichrist himself is known as the "Assyrian" in Ezekiel 31:3. Egypt is mentioned too; although it's national prominence will never be what it was ( Ezekiel 29:15) but it will cry out in the last days ( Isaiah 19:20) and of course it is mentioned in Zechariah 14:17 they will still exist and need to worship God every year.

    Ron:

Psalms 78:2 I will open my (God the word's) mouth in a PARABLE

The tree OF KNOWLEDGE of good and evil.

The fruit of that tree IS KNOWLEDGE of good and evil.

You are the garden of Eden; the tree of knowledge of good and evil is in you, and when you come to TRUTH, then you also come to THE KNOWLEDGE that the TREE OF LIFE is also IN YOU. BUT: Cherub with sword's of FIRE surround the TREE OF LIFE; so you are going to have to go through FIRE to partake of the fruit of the TREE OF LIFE.

Ezekiel 31:9 I (the Father) have made him (Christ) fair by the multitude of his BRANCHES (you and I): so all the trees of Eden (you and I), that were in the garden of God (you and I), envied him (Christ).

Colossians 1:27 ....this mystery .....Christ in you .....

Ezekiel 29:49 Then said I, Ah Lord GOD, they say of me, doth he not speak in PARABLES.

    God Bless You.

Amen. I think it's a great idea to keep our Governing nation in prayer, and pray they let God govern their hearts!

When Israel did right by the Lord he gave them rest and the spirit of the lord rested on the leaders! Numbers 11:25-29.

As a nation we've put together great writings on paper and we Identfied ourselves by these writings but we never accomplished what we have in writing. Sort of reminds you of Israel doesn't it? Actually Israel didn't just have the law written on skin, they had the Lord in their midst. But his laws wasn't written on there hearts! And this is the only geographical nation/Country that has been set apart by the Lord.

That ought to humble every other nation! God has raised up nations in the past to do his will and then judge that nation!

    Habakkuk 1:5-6.

    Jeremiah 25:11-12.

God used Assyria and Babylon to chastise Israel and turn the rod on them.

God raises up great kings to do his will!

    Isaiah 45:1.

    Ezekiel 29:18-20.

Pride goeth before destruction and an haulty spirit before a fall.

All these nations fell! Now Let's look at Israel. Ezekiel 16:48-50. Notice verses 49 and 50? You noticed God called sodom Israels sister! When God brought Israel out of Egypt God called them his son. He was a father and a husband to them. But they turned from God so at this point he's telling them they have the same father as Sodom, and we know who that is!

"He's not governing there heart" but there will come a time he will. Jeremiah 31:31-34. Noticed verse 33? He will put his law in their inward parts!

Looking at Israel and the way the Lord raised up nations and later judged them should humble us!

There will come a time when his nation will be taken out of the world and he will deal with all the worlds nations.

    Joel 3:2.

So let's pray the lost people of ALL nations humble themselves and get on a tract they have NEVER been on.

    God bless and goodnight.

    Interestingly seems symbolicly.

In study Tyrus appears to be what the world wants to call 'Atlantis ' even online searches lead that direction. Amos 1:8-10, Zechariah 9:1-4, Ezekiel 27:3-4, Ezekiel 29:18, Ezekiel 26:3-21, hopefully these are helpful

Answer for Debra: Go back and read the Book of Deuteronomy for your answer. You see, we don't have to look very far to get answers to our questions about GOD, man, earth, human nature, etc...the Bible has all this covered. The reference to the Bible, is the Bible :-) In HIM!

We need to remember that everything we have, God allows us to have. We should never be prideful and think it was we ourselves that got what we have. Pride will destroy us. If we don't recognize God for whom He is in our lives and what He does, we will go down like all the cities that disobeyed God and followed in their own desires rather than the desires of God. Choose God!!!

To think at one time - God BLESSED Nebby of Babylon. I very seldom read in Eze., but I have taken some GOOD verses from it, but never 'noticed' 18. I'm going to see what Henry has to say about it.
