Frank; We are in a time of increasing darkness and trouble, because so many that have heard and known the word of God have despised and rejected it; and love instead their cares and pleasures in this life, than to be of the truth. This is the narrow way that Jesus spoke of, and the very reason most choose to stay on the broad way because they are ashamed or afraid or simply love their sins more.
He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he. The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine: The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
Blessed us... genuine believers. Do we believe this, or we merely exist, behave and conduct ourselves so mediocrity as to be outside of His blessing? In our day and time, I am certain it's the latter, not the former.
2 Timothy 2:19 19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. I am a born again child of God, I know what lives inside of me, It's the Holy Spirit of God, but my flesh will still sin. That's why I read the Word to get cleanse. Ephesians 5:29
Saints May we open our eyes to the Grace of Jesus Christ wisdom and knowledge of his Great Salvatiom of his Gospel of truth. We are accepted in the beloved ,sealed by the Holy Spirit. Its a done deal Jesus is not coming back to deal with sin BUT TO BRING SALVATION KEEP LOOKING UP
Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow,
Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, We are sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise. For Ever . AMEN
Romans 15:16 16 That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost. What Paul did back then was very dangerous, because of the higher up Jews did not believe in the Gentiles joining together with Christ. So Paul ministered to Gentiles and Peter ministered to Jews
According to some well meaning, but perhaps less than honest or maybe inexperienced fellow-Saints; by simply reciting verses and standing rigidly to a determined position, that somehow makes them having attained. But why then does the Lord solemnly warn us to Take heed, Watch and Pray always, Let no one deceive you? Because we need to attend to the things we have received with constant discipline.
"I am no different then Paul when I preach.." I knew a brother like that some years ago: he seemed to really think that because his name was Paul, that that was a sign from God that he was Paul. Eventually you have to get away from these kinds; they have listened to the devil, who told them, You are the ONE! Using Scriptures to smite his FELLOW-SERVANTS but not remembering the mercy he's received!
Mr. Kelly; since you seem to have no interest, but to keep telling EVERYONE ELSE that they need to quit sinning; it hardly makes sense to keep trying to reason with you. "Set them to judge who are least esteemed in the Church." Nearly every sectarian person (heretic) is full of Scriptures he uses to damn others; while being completely obtuse to the "weightier matters of the Law; mercy and faith."

Disciple: I am no different then Paul when I preach. 2nd Cor 11:6] But though I be rude in speech, yet not in knowledge; but we have been throughly made manifest among you in all things.

Disciple: get out of verse 8 in 1st John get into verse 9 confess your sin give it up. Verse 9 tells me is is just to forgive us "ALL Sins" all unrighteousness is sin. Verse 8 is where we see church stumble over. Put it in context. Verse 8 in 1st John does NOT say "if we say we have no sin which we commit everyday" John is writing to a people who want to have fellowship with him. 1st John 1:4.
You should not call yourself Evangelist, Mr. Kelly; because you don't really display any kind of an Evangelist's heart toward others, especially your brethren! The Lord and Master would never break a bruised reed or quench a smoking flax; Jesus always has compassion and SEEKS those who are of the truth. The only ones He was severe with were the hypocrites who made themselves hateful and hostile.
Mr. Kelly; A strong confession is a good start, in that it causes us to think about the words themselves. Its important to understand however; (and I only say for purpose of teaching); that we not be misled by a wrongly placed zeal. By that I mean, mimicking and parroting others who actually lived and experienced what they spoke. We should pray to really know the Lord like our heroes in the Bible.
Mr. Kelly; "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us." I've had plenty of experience with certain who torqued down on the Scriptures to fit their understanding or favorite interpretation. But really the LORD is not fooled no matter how strongly we protest and demand that we know better; for He see into the innermost parts. Honesty and humility show our faith.

Disciple:My sins are washed, forgiven and forgotten. Our sin has to be washed NOT covered washed by the blood words of the bible John 15:3. Forgiven and forgotten. Hebrews 8:12] For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more." John 15:[3] Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

A disciple; walk in the spirit then, I got out of the flesh long ago. Galations 5:16] This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
[17] For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
Mr. Kelly; If you live after the flesh, YOU SHALL DIE; but if you through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, you shall live...for they that are after the flesh CANNOT PLEASE GOD! BUT YOU ARE NOT AFTER THE FLESH, BUT AFTER THE SPIRIT, IF SO BE THE SPIRIT OF CHRIST DWELLS IN YOU...if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His."NBeing saved from our sins must be a fact done!

Ray: bring me the scripture the flesh that sins and the soul will never sin but the flesh will sin? It does not exist as Jesus came to make us every whit whole soul and spirit and NOT just part of your life. 3rd John 1:2] Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
Ephesians 1:7 7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace. God looks at us as thou we never sin. But the flesh will still sin.
Galatians 2:20 20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Paul still had to live in his flesh, that means he still had sin in his life, thank God for the Holy Spirit inside him that never sins. The flesh still will sin.
Evangelist Andrew Kelly on Ephesians 1 - 7 years ago
Christians are growing and growing in iniquity and NOT in the truth. Ephesians 1:4 without blame, ((without sin)) before him in love since the foundation of the world. We are to be without blame ((without sin)) as all sin is of the devil period and all sinners will burn. Verse 5 being predestined the answer is found in Romans 8:29-30.
Ephesians 1:13 13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise. We must BELIEVE gospel of Salvation 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 and be saved and God will sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise. Amen
27 And as they were going down to the end of the city, Samuel said to Saul, Bid the servant pass on before us, and he passed on , but stand thou still a while, that I may shew thee the word of God. If Jesus is the Word, that means Salvation is in the Word. 1 Corinth 15:1-4 Believe only his Word for Salvation. Glory be to God for his only begotten Son that died for our sins and rose from the dead
Tom; I'm curious which English exactly are you referring to? Is it any of those who so loved the Lord Jesus and the Scriptures, that they were mercilessly persecuted, and of the most beautiful and righteous people who were ever born English that were burnt alive for their true holiness and constancy? Is that who you are slandering and demeaning? Should we listen more to your words than theirs?
"As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:" Don't you want to grow in grace, and in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ? If Jesus said that the only way we will be saved, is by doing all these His words; who are you to say we don't have to know them? Hebrews 5:11-14 explains very well what I'm talking about: being unskilled in the Word makes you unusable.
Hello Bettina Stewart; what is revealed to us through the Scriptures: there is the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit. We can study and pray and grow in grace and knowledge; all which IS OUR DUTY to do while we are here, as good and faithful servants; but only when we get there will we "know even as we ourselves are known." God made man in His image; and replicated Himself to make a people.
