"That if (conditional) thou (regarding Israel. See verse 1) confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus," This verse is offering salvation to the nation Israel, but first they must confess that Christ is their Saviour before they could have faith in Him. This is not the sinners pray as some confess. Today salvation is a free gift, and you can only receive that gift. There is nothing that you have to do for it. Eph.2:8,9 That's faith plus nothing!
Why do I feel unworthy of my Salvation when I have my two grown sons living in the house with me who are on marijuana and they disrespect me I pray to the Lord to let me please hold my tongue but then I can't take it anymore and I lose my temper. Should I put them out on the street?
How does a Sunday School teacher handle a Pastor who is a narcissist, and practices spiritual and verbal abuse; often slandering other Pastors such as Dr. John MacArthur and Dr. Jeremiah? Please HELP!!!
"How does one find a church" concerning the truth of Gods word, studying Gods word is first and foremost, then visiting different churches to see how it compares to the truth. Yellow Creek Baptist Church in Murrayville Georgia is a prime example of Gods word and only Gods word. Not sugar coated, straight out of the Bible and doesn't leave anything out including Hell. Keep looking, there's a lot of good churches out there.
The bible says we will never know why The Lord does everything he does until eternity and i believe there was a reason it was changed, but does it really matter what the pastor says while baptizing you because its salvation that gets us to heaven. In conclusion there is on reason to argue over a matter like this.
We were once wild "reckless" vines. Father planted Christ to be the only source of eternal life. Father is the gardener who tills our hearts to become the people we were always meant to be, not only in Heaven, while living here on earth. Jesus is now the "I AM" Vine, He will forever be!
Thank you ...
