The global spread of SARS-CoV-2 and the thousands of deaths caused by coronavirus disease (COVID-19) led the World Health Organization to declare a pandemic on 12 March 2020. To date, the world has paid a high toll in this pandemic in terms of human lives lost, economic repercussions and increased poverty.
Question: How many Christians or religious people FASTED AND PRAYED?
Question: How many preachers and teachers came forward to call a FAST and repentance from sin?
Question: Where were all those great teachers of knowledge who preached about healing and The Holy Spirit
Question: Who did the Church of God listen to, was it their earthy master or Heavenly Master?
Question: Did you read Psalm 91 and trusted and had faith or took the vaccine?
Seeing "no man knoweth the Father but the Son, and he to whom the Son revealeth him"; and seeing the "revelation of the Son is in and by the Spirit" ( Matt. 11:27); therefore the testimony of the Spirit is that alone by which the true knowledge of God hath been, is, and can be only revealed; who as, by the moving of his own Spirit, he disposed the chaos of this world into that wonderful order wherein it was in the beginning, and created man a living soul, to rule and govern it, so, by the revelation of the same Spirit, he hath manifested himself all along unto the sons of men, both patriarchs, prophets, and apostles; which revelations of God by the Spirit, whether by outward voices and appearances, dreams, or inward objective manifestations in the heart, were of old the formal object of their faith, and remain yet so to be, since the object of the saints' faith is the same in all ages, though held forth under divers administrations. Moreover, these divine inward revelations, which we make absolutely necessary for the building up of true faith, neither do nor can ever contradict the outward testimony of the Scriptures, or right and sound reason. Yet from hence it will not follow, that the divine revelations are to be subjected to the test, either of the outward testimony of the Scriptures, or of the natural reason of man, as to a more noble or certain rule and touchstone; for this divine revelation and inward illumination, is that which is evident and clear of itself, forcing, by its own evidence and clearness, the well-disposed understanding to assent, irresistibly moving the same thereunto, even as the common principles of natural truths do move and incline the mind to a natural assent: as, that the whole is greater than its part, that two contradictories can neither be both true, nor both false.
If your friends say their a christen and once lived together then later married for a year or two years, then she said I can stay married with you anymore and gets a divorce but still lives together loves each other. Are they both considered to be in fornication? The bible said obey the laws on the land and being married is obey the laws of the land and being obedient to God. Also, his sister lived with her husband before they got married. Then later gets married for two years are so, then she gets a divorced because her husband had seral heart attacks and she cannot afford to pay his medical bills, but today they live together and love each other. Now there both are not working and living on Social Security Disability. I believe her excuse now is invalid. In think there both living in fornication? Please read through my questions carefully and answer my questions. I hope to hear from you soon. Thanks Sincerely David J Gresham
Please read the book "The Need For an Every-word Bible" by Jack Hyles. You will learn a lot about how the KJV is the perfect inerrant word of God. Don't try to justify yourself thinking you are a scholar. God is all knowing and created a PERFECT translation for us.
I just wanted to ask if anyone has seen the YouTube video messiah 2030? What are your thoughts? From the 6 day creation prophecy to the 2030 Joseph/Jesus correlationit seems as though the Lord is coming at any moment now!!
I am starting to study the Spiritual Gifts. The only ones that I can find are listed in I Corinthians 12:1-9. Does anyone have any other findings in the King James Version on the Spiritual Gifts?
The feathers, or wings, represent the presidents of the United States of America starting with Herbert Hoover when the secret combination was setup, the federal reserve bank, Carnegie & rothschild, Rockefeller, Ford, etc. (see the book The President Makers). The second feather was Franklin Delano Roosevelt (FDR) who had twice as long a "reign" as any other president (feather/wing). Then the body of the eagle passed a law to only ever allow two terms as president going forward. Short feathers and the presidents whose terms were cut short unnaturally (assassination JFK, impeachment/resignation Nixon, election fraud). Biden will be removed "unnaturally" from office in less time than Trump was in office "sooner away than the first". That will leave the next two to be removed at the same time by the large head in the midst of the Eagle (NSA/CIA, council on foreign relations Richard Haas, FBI) at which point they will blame the removal of those two individuals on others to justify their taking control of everything, waging war, oppressing everyone, and persecuting the saints (can't buy or sell without the mark of the beast). Fear not little flock. We know who wins in the end.
The methodology; then of individuals or small groups sharing the Gospel on the streets has therefore been able to elicit tearful responses; or cursing and rowdy behaviours as a response; and in turn in the Nursing Home environment led to a mini revival with almost all residents interested in prayer; and a number of folks attending an impromptu service when I was in the Pittsburgh area. (probably about a dozen). The formal Sunday meeting was not something I could attend or was leading as I had Sunday services to attend myself. I will say that being able to transport one or two elderly individuals was a blessing and good opportunity for fellowship; and if more of these type facilities could coordinate travel to churches that would be helpful.
Truth be told; there aren't too many churches in may neck of the woods who are out there regularly evangelizing on the streets. I am exercising some caution living here at home as some areas are very dangerous; and I don't want to upset my mom beyond measure and have responsibilities here taking care of them restricting time as well. I have known one or two cases of individuals in health care who have been bold enough even going against protocol by sharing the Gospel with those who are dying. My former roomate who started the Nursing Home work in Pittsburgh was very bold with his mom and apparently she came to the Lord a couple months before her death which was greatly prolonged beyond what the doctors and family expected.
Whenever we have repeated and consistent ministry we build relationships and trust; and eventually we can see the fruit of that.
I would certainly recommend Voice of the Martyrs and Bible League International. Their reports show how youth and many widows of those martyred for their faith tirelessly persist in sharing the Lord; as well as finding strength from God not to hold grudges against their captors. May we learn from their examples.
Israel was sola scriptura, written word only....They knew the Torah by heart....But Jesus asked them one day which of the Prophets has NOT your fathers stoned.....But Jesus refers to them as you are of your father the Devil....The written word answers to the lesser light but the living word which is spirit and life answers to the greater light.
Thats y Jesus is saying are there not 12 hrs in a day and 12 hrs in a night...But if a man walk in the night... the written word only no spirit or life he is gonna stumble....But if he walks in the light the living word the H.G. That new covenant at calvary he will not stumble...Its only Jesus that is the light of the world....There are zillions of bibles in this world but this world is in deep darkness....
I love the bible but its just a love letter from a far away lover....But my bridegroom is Jesus the living word....We will be married to Spirit and life...Jesus/God ....Not paper and ink...God is much greater then a bible....I probable have 20 bibles in my house all kjv's but my bridegoom is Spirit and life the H.G. The living word....That Child of Promise...If salvation cd have come by the written word the bible then the living Word shed his blood in vain and the Cross was just foolishness....But Salvation is only the result of his blood at Calvary that New Covenant....NOT BY THE LETTER A KILLER THAT OLD COVENANT....The soul that sinneth shall surely die....But under this new covenant the blood at calvary....when he had taken the cup he said this is the N.C. In my blood drink ye all of it....Thus this New Covenant the law of life has made us free from the law of sin and death.. Romans 8:2.....We still get bit sometimes as we are still in the wilderness of sin but our snake bite is not fatal if we behold the lamb of God that taketh away the sins of the world....ty Jesus....As Moses lifted up a serpent in the wilderness even so must the SON OF MAN BE LIFTED UP....The living word. that had to die for us...
Thought I'd just comment on news I've noticed lately about the pride movement pushing and pushing. Christians have been tolerant of this and sometimes quiet in taking a stand to not ruffle feathers- as perhaps some church goers may even be caught up in this deception. Joel Osteen totally dodges subjects like this for example.
But I think we're reaching a breaking point. I no longer think staying quiet and being tolerant is an effective strategy. God opposes the proud and especially sexually deviant or perverted, especially when targeting innocent kids. So, I think we're closer to full out war in a spiritual sense. The satanic side is full on fighting and some are still sleeping while their kids are being indoctrinated 24/7 at school, on social media, news. It's now apparent they are not letting up one inch and are in full offense and our side has hardly even mounted a defense. Some Christians are being plowed over and even converted to satan's morals instead of God's morals.
This is both a prayer request and observation that we are in a full out culture war of good vs evil. They deceive by claiming they're the good guys and that their morals are good and that God's are bad. Classic satan's signature of reversing of the truth.
Also, its apparent that the US is being destroyed. At some point all political sides must agree on this basic fact that the dollar is intentionally devalued- worth less, that millions of illegals have come in, many soldiers from other countries, like a trojan horse. And drugs, crime, murder is possibly an all time high. Everyone needs Jesus so badly. How will we get the message to them when our freedom of speech is under attack. Will we mobilize some effort to push back on this or just roll over and do nothing?
To David0921 , I tried to reply to you on the thread but the thread is so big now that my phone went hay wire . Just to say thankyou for your latest post . You cut straight to the heart of the matter with ease . As far as I'm concerned you have the last word on this subject as I won't be reading anymore posts in this thread , it's giving me the irrits :) .
There is a passage in the New Testament that seems to be an extraordinarily clear statement about the doctrine of the Trinity, 1 John 5:7. To many, the question as to the existence of the Trinity is settled by this verse.
What Does 1 John 5:7 Say?
First John 5:7 reads as follows in the King James Version:
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
The way this verse reads in the King James Version is a clear description of the Trinity. Indeed, it says that there are three that bear witness or bear record in heaven. These three are the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit. In addition, it says that these three are one. Why then, is there any controversy about this issue of the doctrine of the Trinity? These words could not be clearer!
The Problem Stated
Unfortunately, it is not that simple. Indeed, there has been a question about the authenticity of this passage. We will give a brief history of the problem as well as make some observations.
The New Testament Documents Were Originally Written in Greek
To begin with, we must note that the books of the New Testament were originally written in Greek. When they were first composed each of them were written upon perishable material. Immediately, copies were made of these original writings (called the autographs). These hand-written copies of the Greek autographs, called manuscripts, were then copied and recopied.
By the middle of the second century A.D., the books of the New Testament began to be translated and then copied into languages other than Greek. This hand-copying of the text in Greek, as well as in these other languages, continued until the invention of the printing press (about 1450). Furthermore, even some time after the printing press was invented the text was still copied by hand. In fact, it was not until the sixteenth century (1516) that a Greek New Testament was printed and published.
1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:
2 Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
8 Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:
11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory
