Emmanuel, 1peter 3:21. Tells you about water baptism. It's an outward show the world you are born again and a child of God. As circumcision was a physical sign, circumcision of the heart is the spiritual work of giving up sin and the world will see the evidence by your new actions following Christ. Verse 20 explains that.
  • Wayne on 1 Peter 2 - 9 years ago

  • Evangelist Johnson on Psalms 61 - 9 years ago
Cain may not have been the 1st child. Bible didn't say so. He could have married any of sisters before or after him. Female is not always listed in Jewish patriarch genealogy, only males are recorded: GEN 4:16-26, GEN 5:1-32, GEN 11:1-32, GEN 36:9-43, MATTHEW 1:1-16. That's why d bible began with Cain
  • Wayne on 1 Peter 5 - 9 years ago
Dorothy Wilson: another good scripture is 1john 5:18. We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not. But he that is begotten of God keepeth himself and that wicked one toucheth him not. Jesus has the power!

Once saved, always saved is very biblical and true!
Jesus Christ died for His people, and ALL their sins were paid for....ALL of them, yes even those that we all commit from birth to death or till He comes again.
None that He died for will be lost ( John 6:37 ) and yes, we must always be repenting and striving to better walk in the Light and be a light unto others.

  • Michael King on Genesis 19 - 9 years ago
Here is understanding. The Bible is an encrypted message to God Himself. The greatest student of scripture will be God. The fact that God will be born into this world and fulfill His plan of marriage for Himself is self evident. If Messiah is King, a Queen must exist. Male and Female, Father and Mother, God and Goddess...you cannot elimate Woman out of the equation. The Wedding Supper, the Bride of the Christ, and the Marrys...simple stuff when you think about it.
  • Michael Townsend on Daniel 3 - 9 years ago

To 'JR', about Pentecost; if you will go to wikipedia and type in Pentecost - you'll learn all there is about it. I am Apostolic/Pentecostal - Apostolic in belief and Pentecostal in worship. I believe the 'whole' KJV Bible (not the 'New' KJV ). we don't celbrate Pentecost per se; we 'are' Pentecostal; we live as taught from Acts 2:38 on into the epistles.
