We are not saved by godly sorrow or repentance, we are saved by faith in Christ and His shed blood as a propitiation for our sins; even that element of faith is a gift of God not of works on our part. Christ is formed in us the Hope of Glory. So, He is our perfection. Our Helper, the HS teaches us all things in Spirit and Truth. Christ is our perfection and there is no way we will be perfect completely humanly speaking, but through Him we are perfected, cleansed, redeemed and renewed by the Word. We are nothing without Him.
