The sanctuary in question was a sanctuary where the Jews performed the ministry given to them by the Lord.
Everything about the tabernacle, the ministry and the rituals was given to the Jews only and was to be performed in Jerusalem.
If a Gentile wanted to serve he had to become a proselyte.
In the old testament "that nation" God showed the world there was a true and LIVING GOD who provides. He used them to make his name great amongst the Nations and he's still doing that, whether by chastening them or blessing them.
He performed his promises and covenants and there's more to come.
God also, by that nation the depravity of man apart from a New birth or regenerated HEART.
Everything about that ministry pointed to our fallen nature and the need for Jesus. There offerings and rituals ect.. pointed towards Christ. THAT WAS IT'S GLORY. which glory was to be done away:
However, That ministry was called the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones.
2 Corinthians 3:9 reads, "For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.
(Look at verse 10) 3:10FOR EVEN THAT WHICH WAS MADE GLORIOUS HAD NO GLORY IN THIS RESPECT, by reason of the glory that excelleth.
The ministration of death couldn't make you righteous!
read 2 Corinthians 3:13-14. and notice their blindness.
They were blinded when Moses read to them!
Verse 15) But even unto this day, when Moses is read, THE VAIL IS UPON THEIR HEART.
Verse 16) Important verse..
"Nevertheless WHEN IT SHALL TURN TO THE LORD, the vail shall be taken away.
When what "shall turn to the Lord? Their heart!!
When their heart shall turn to the Lord the veil shall be taken away.
Thank you for the question, and it is nice to speak with you again. I totally understand your question on this. It is true that the Jews rejected Jesus as their Messiah when He was here the first time. Even today, Orthodox Jews still do not acknowledge Jesus as their Messiah, and they don't believe in His second coming. But since the time of Christ's resurrection to the present time, there are Messianic Jews, those Jews who have responded to the gospel message and have received Christ as their Messiah/Savior. In my post, it is the Messianic Jews that I mentioned and was referring to, not Orthodox Jews.
Again, to this day, Orthodox Jews still do not believe Jesus is their Messiah. They're still waiting on their Messiah to come. In fact, if you or I were to ask for their view on Mark 13:32, or any verse in the New Testament for that matter, they more than likely will not want to discuss it at all since they don't believe in the NT.
Something else to be aware of is that if you ever get the opportunity to speak to an Orthodox Jew, they will probably frown at you if you mention Old Testament to them. The term Old Testament is offensive to an Orthodox Jew because they don't believe in a New Testament. We call it the Old Testament, but they call it the Tanak (TNK), the Torah, the Neviim, and the Ketuvim, which is the Law, the Prophets, and the Writings.
So, if you're ever speaking to an Orthodox Jew, or if you're ever in a Jewish bookstore by chance, and you're asking anything about the Old Testament, you might want to say Tanach instead.
Again, thank you for the question. But please know that there are Messianic Jews today that have received Christ as their Messiah, and they are looking for His second coming just as we are.
I know when Jesus first came their eyes and ears were closed because the fullness of time had come, because they had gone so far away from God, judgment had been given on that generation. We see the similarity to that in Hosea, the temple was destroyed. I think we are on the same page with Matthew 23:39 as this happens with the fullness of the Gentiles.
When Jesus returns and sets up the kingdom on earth, they will call on Him as their Messiah and king. But my understanding is Hosea 5:15 God removed his glory from the sanctuary and the city for their unwillingness to repent and return to God the punishment was the destruction of the first temple and their captivity.
Most of us should know about the first seal of Revelation; there are some Reformers who consider this to be talking of Christ not Antichrist but I won't get into that here. The Daniel 9:27 prophecy at least when I was growing up was well known in Christian circles. My theory is that someone will have to overturn the existing structure of the world in regard to the UN; NATO and other organizations. He will be the "end all" for what everyone seeks; the Jews will think he is their Messiah; the Muslims the 12th Imam; and other in the New Age and Eastern faiths some risen master or Maitreya. Eventually he will be heralded by the false wonders and signs of the False Prophet but it appears that and the deadly wound comes later at the mid point of the Tribulation.
We could get into detail here how even some from Turkey have looked to Israel to rebuild their temple. I have conjectured about Psalm 83 and the elimination of the surrounding threats to eventually lead to the Ezekiel 38 conflict; as only then will Israel consider living in a land of "unwalled villages" ( Ezekiel 38:11). Their guard will be down after a period of time when they are convinced this Antichrist has their best wishes in mind.
Just as the God of the Bible has held back all the catastrophic plagues and judgments of the Tribulation He has also restrained this Antichrist Beast from taking the stage and accomplishing the "confirming" of the covenant; which implies something already in the works which certainly could pertain to the Abrahamic covenant being finalized with many other nations. Whether it is that or some other document time will tell. The delusion of peace on earth is bound to come; and it seems no one is warning against it.
The Babylon the Great religious harlot precedes the Antichrist's 42 months enforcing the mark of the beast. The Lord has to remove even the few that remain today in the compromised churches before the final fulfillment as the whore.
Soft as the voice of an angel, Breathing a lesson unheard,
Hope with a gentle persuasion, Whispers her comforting word;
Wait till the darkness is over, Wait till life's tempest is done,,
Hope for the sunshine tomorrow, After the shower is gone.
Whispering hope, O how welcome Thy voice,
Making my heart in its sorrow rejoice.
"Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. Romans 15:13 God Bless :)
There is no peace for the wicked ( Isaiah 48:22; 57:21) and other passages.
If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation. ( John 11:48).
Having explored this first passage before; I thought I would include the second for consideration. It would seem that the religious leaders were indebting themselves in what they would consider a hostile takeover of their nation because of the Gentiles not tolerating their unbelief. This was near no doubt near to the "triumphal entry" of Christ which came immediately before the crucifixion. They should have realized that God Himself through Christ would destroy the wicked when He comes to rule and reign with His heavenly armies.
These passages remind us of today; when people wish to continue in their wickedness much like Roman society as a whole did with their pagan worship and associated sins and how every empire has fallen making our own demise a certainty. Prophetically the first seal signifies what could be described as enforced peace; or submission which is basically as Islam promises to happen in the last days under the final Imam. With the world's technology it has been hard for total control of any dictator of communication; although economic control is getting a tighter and tighter grip. The power vacuum in recent decades brings a sort of half hearted proxy war mentality to the world. This is due to the realization of mutually assured destruction with an all out nuclear conflict and a rather tepid and disorganized NATO and related groups who are trying to cobble together a large enough resistance to counter Russia who they are convinced wants to take over all of Europe eventually. It seems the internet has also been where the main emphasis has been in various platforms to gain influence of the minds of young people to various ideologies. The "trojan horse" of immigrants has certainly brought many camels in the tent
Names of God : God , El might or power , Eloah mighty one , Elohim mighty ones ( Angels ? ) For Yahweh is a great El , and a great King above all Elohim ( Psalm 95-3 ) Tzur ,rock or strength .

In Romans 9 Paul mentions the condition of Israel (AS A NATION)
Verses 31,32- "But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.
Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone.
Romans 10:16 reads But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, WHO HATH BELIEVED OUR REPORT?
So the Gospel was preached to them! as we see in Romans 10:16-18.
Romans 11:8 declares their position then, as well today!
(According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.
Romans 11:25-28 sums it up.
"For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
When Israel "as a nation" call on their Messiah and behold him as their Messiah they will call on him!
I believe this will happen in the tribulation and that is what Hosea is speaking of.
"I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, AND SEEK MY FACE: in their AFFLICTION they will seek me early.
THEY WON'T BEHOLD HIM (Remain in this blinded state) untill they shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord. Matthew 23:39.
I may be a little slow but if you do not mind could you expand your meaning on "behold him as a nation" and how that relates to Matthew 23:39 or Hosea 5:15?
"Because all those men which have seen my glory, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now these ten times, and have not hearkened to my voice;/Surely they shall not see the land which I sware unto their fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked me see it:/But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it." (Nu.14:22-24). This song is not sung according to canon of music and of harp invented by Jabal.(Ge.4:21) This is heavenly music so we are shown martyrs having harps of God. In the Book of Job we have God asking him,'where wast thou "When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?" Job 38:7)
"And they sung a new song," (Re.5:9)
"Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God." (Ep.5:19-21) This breaks out in spite of our earthly circumstance because the Spirit within us keep the beat with what goes on in the kingdom of God. This speaks of the volume a man blessed of God has.
"And (Thou) hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth./And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne."(Re.5:11-13)
"The Lord is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him."(v.2)
Who taught Moses this song which is compared to the Song of the Lamb? "And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb." They are martyrs "that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God."(Re.15:2) This is a new song which is associated with the first fruits in the previous chapter. "and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:/And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth." (14:2) They sang it as it were a new song which would have been sung earlier and the usage 'as it were' refers to the song of salvation of which we have the song of Moses for an example.
The children of Israel also sings with Moses so the song was composed in heaven and the day decreed for the Son has passed as part of the repertoire of the blessed in the Man. No man could have sung it but in whom God breathed and created man as living soul. The conclusion is clear: soul is where it is embedded. So when the Psalmist says, "Thy statutes have been my songs In the house of my pilgrimage. I have remembered thy name, O LORD, in the night, and have kept thy law. This I had, because I kept thy precepts." (Ps.119:54-56). Only those who have kept the word and are led by the Spirit of God can be counted among the 144,000. 12x12x1000 are not merely a number but the habitation of God. Moses who is setting out to the Promised Land makes it clear," I will prepare him an habitation." None of those who set out with him hover will not make it save two. They had another spirit. (Nu.14:22-24)
In Hebrew its, "Hear, O Israel: yehovah our (Elohim) is one yehovah:
The use of the word "one" in this verse is commonly interpreted to mean that there is only "one" God.
However, from a Hebraic perspective, the Hebrew word (ehhad, Strong's #259) can mean a "unit" within a unity. This verse is stating that YHWH is in unity with himself.
A good example of this is the pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night. A cloud and fire are opposites-one provides coolness and shade and the other heat and light. Yet, they work together to preserve the people during the day and the night.
Deuteronomy 6:4 connects Yehovah and Elohim.
Plurality existing in singularly. Just as LORD of hosts.
Yehovah is a covenant name.
Elohim is a Plural name.
Did you know in Genesis during the creation the name "Yehovah Elohim" is used all the way through the creation until you come to perhaps ch 4.
Thanks, brother the study of the feasts is an eye-opening study, Passover, Feast of Unleavened Bread, Feast of Firstfruits, Feast of Weeks/Pentecost, that have been fulfilled and there are three that have yet to be fulfilled, Feast of the Trumpets, the Day of Atonement, and Tabernacles.
Passover, Jesus fulfilled it down to the day, and to the hour. Jesus rode into Jerusalem on the 10th of Nisan the same day the lambs were to be taken up (moneychangers). Jesus was crucified on the morning of the 14th of Nisan and died at the same time the Passover lambs were being sacrificed and put in the tomb before the sunset. There is other things Jesus fulfilled that Passover day, the Tamid sacrifice, the beginning and the end or you could say the first and the last of the daily sacrifices and worship.
Jesus and his apostles after the Last Supper went into the garden of Gethsemane and there Jesus was taken to Annas and then Caiaphas, then early that morning to Pilate to be judged where no fault was found in Him. At the same time this was going on, the priest tied the first Tamid lamb to the altar and inspected it to make sure there were no blemishes.
Jesus was nailed to the cross at the third hour, 9 AM same time the first Tamid lamb was sacrificed and placed on the altar, this started the first hour of prayer. The sixth hour, the last Tamid lamb was tied to the alter and darkness fell over the land until the ninth hour the second hour of prayer, the last Tamid lamb was sacrificed at 3 PM and placed on top of all the sacrifices the people did for sins that day, at the same time Jesus cried out and gave up the ghost.
Jesus, the first and the last was the perfect and final sacrifice, like the first Passover freed Israel from the captivity of Egypt Jesus freed us of the captivity of sin and with His blood covered our sins that the Tamid lambs could not do, Hebrews 10:4-12.
There is much more in these feasts to see, thanks for pointing them out.
I removed my previous post because I wanted to emphasize the name "LORD of hosts" and what it meant.
It comprises the Trinity which I believe to be true.
However,
other portions of the posts I believe I should have completed the study before I revealed it, or proofread before I posted it right before bed time.
There was a lot left out that I should have included, for instance, When John quoted Isaiah 53:1 "who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?
We should ask ourselves what was reported that they were blind to.
Then I would list
Isaiah 9:6 along with Isaiah 53:1-12.
John 12:32-33 Jesus states If I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.
This he said, signifying what death he should die.
In John 12:34 The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? WHO IS THIS SON OF MAN?
The should have known about coming and purpose by the fulfillment of many OT scripture.
4Whatsoever is born of GOD overcometh the world:and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
5Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that JESUS is the Son of GOD?
6JESUS is He that came by water and blood, even JESUS Christ;not by water only, but by water(John7:38-39;8:51and11:26),
and blood-understand?( Philippians 2:7-11).
And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is Truth.
GOD,the Word,is Spirit- John 6:63.The Word is GOD,GOD Himself,self-executing,understand?
7There are three that testify in heaven(heaven? Ephesians 1:3-8),the Father-GOD the Father-,the Word-the Word made flesh-JESUS-,and the Holy Spirit(who is not a ghost as is written in English language, but a person-the Paraclete, the Comfort):and these three are One.
18We-the TRUE believers-know that whosoever is born of GOD sinneth not;but he that is begotten of GOD keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
19And we know that we are of GOD-understand?-,and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
20And we know that the Son of GOD is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know Him that is true, and we are in Him that is true, even in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true GOD,and eternal life.
Hebrews 1:1-3
1GOD,who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2Hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son,whom He hath appointed heir of all things,by whom also He made the worlds;
3Who being the brightness of His glory, and the EXPRESS IMAGE(WORD MADE FLESH)of the Person of GOD,and upholding all things by the Word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:
Revelation 11:15-18 &1Corinthians15:24-27
15...The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ;and He shall reign for ever and ever.
18And the NATIONS will be angry, and GOD's WRATH is come...
Hi Jesse , you mention what the Jews think about Jesus's second coming , but they don't believe in his first time on earth do they ? They don't believe that Jesus was / is the Messiah the first time around so.....how can they have ideas about his second advent ?
Baca is used in the context of life as a journey. It is used to signify life is not a single line from birth to death but made up several sensations as sense of your smell catches several sensations, invisible and as yet made real and it triggers many memories buried over passage of time. Jacob at a certain place makes bed and sleeps."And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, "And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful is this place! this is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven." (Ge.28:16-17). Life of Jacob did not stop for him because he slept; instead it had fulness that is what dream signifies. A rational man who shuts out what he cannot understand is an unmitigated fool. What is blessedness of a believer? Because a politician promises a chicken in every pot, who but a fool shall trust his word. But God did not spare his Son and it was for our sakes. "He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?"(Ro.8:32). The Holy Spirit in the key passage declares,"Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them." This resonates in the Book of Isaiah, "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee." (Is.26:3) How do Isaiah and the Psalmist agree but because truth is revealed to both by God. This is how the Word of God is sound as well as a sign. Hermeneutics is on the basis of "the like begets like."
The valley of Baca may be a literal place near Jerusalem so there may be a literal association for the pilgrims moving to Jerusalem. Be that as it may, this passing through the valley is a kangaroo event for the blessed. As pilgrims and sojourners we are set in context of Zion. "They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God."(v.7) Hermeneutics is to explain the specific in terms of eternity.
Jesus in the key text refers himself to a green tree. We know it is true since he has the dew of youth. The Spirit has laid how we should explain the greenness of the tree on the basis of what the word of God refers to the subject and must conform to the dictum that all things consist of Jesus Christ. Similitude is on the principle ' the like begets like'. In the context of the fruit tree "whose seed was in itself, after his kind" what do we mean by 'after his kind' ? Comparison is in terms of similar quality. Consider this Psalm quote, "In the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth"(Ps.110:3). the greenness of the tree refers to his beauty of holiness and not about physical beauty. This is how hermeneutics according to the wisdom of heaven works. Instead Bible Scholars give a different slant. Jesus Christ is the key and not literal meaning from passage that follow or that went before. Carnal wisdom of the Pharisees accused Jesus, "But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils."(Matt.12:24) This is same as Baptist church in the US would splinter into North and south. One would want to whitewash slavery. What is carnal wisdom? James says, "but is earthly, sensual, devilish./ For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work." Using Noah's curse on Canaan to justify slavery is to say the least is devilish. (Jas.3:15-16)
"For if they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry?"
Here we have a saying of Jesus in which he is comparing himself to a green tree. How can a tree be compared to man but God has established the principle of Similitude towards our spiritual instruction. Like the slain Lamb motif existing in the will of the Father we have a similar motif in the tree. It figures in the cov(Col.1:16-17)enant between God and Man marked day Three.
Ge.1:11-12 "And the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good" is about the Son. God also endorses it as good. So whatever is good is intended towards the blessings man may receive of God. The Spirit of God associate all things for the Man who was before all things. In short the covenant establishes blessings to man through Jesus Christ. "all things were created by him, and for him:/ And he is before all things, and by him all things consist."(Col.1:16-17). Principle of Similitude sets heaven and the earth, lower parts included, on a single standard namely Jesus Christ. Thus Lamb of God refers to him. So does the tree of life.
This principle has another aspect: God created man after our image and it refers his body, soul and spirit. Man also is created 'after our likeness' so man cannot be seen without his world as Jesus Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. His stewardship over other lifeforms in the covenant applies to him. Brevity of his glory is compared to grass. By the same token James asks "For what is your life? It is even a vapour,"(Jas.4:14) Thus volume of man blessed of God carries the fulness of Christ. The indwelling Spirit is a proof of it.
Isaiah inspired of God refers to Jesus Christ as a tender plant. "For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground" (Is.53:2). Jesus in the key text refers himself to a green tree. We know it is true since he has the dew of youth.
Mark 13:32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
(Part 2):
It is a fascinating study just to study all the feasts of the Jews and how the feasts of the Jews just happened to fall on the major events in Christ's life.
His birth was the Feast of Tabernacles. Pentecost was the coming of the Holy Spirit. Passover: the time of His death. Unleavened bread: His burial. First fruits: His resurrection. If you ever have the time to do so, it's interesting and worth looking into.
But they actually have a day that is called "The Day That No One Knows." It is called Rosh Hashanah. They call it a 48-hour period, but it can last longer. It can last up to 72 hours before they see the new moon.
Now this means also that the new moon can already be out and they not see it because of the cloud cover. And because they can't see it, they can't blow the horn. They actually have to be able to physically see it. So, it could take up to three days. Fascinating!
Mark 13:32 "But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father."
(Part 1):
It is very interesting how we have a lot of predictions on when Jesus is coming back. I would like to share a little bit of information, and that's all it is, just information. I'm not telling you that I follow it, but I just think it's interesting how the Messianic Jews view this verse.
"Nobody knows the day or the hour, not even angels in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father."
The Jews actually have a day in their calendar that is called "The Day That No One Knows." It is the first day on what is called Rosh Hashanah.
On the first day of Rosh Hashanah, which doesn't start on a date. It starts when the observers (the scouts), first see the first sliver of the new moon, and they blow the shofar (Ram's Horn), and then Rosh Hashanah starts. But it can take two or three days before they see the new moon.
Messianic Jews believe that Jesus, at His second coming, is coming on the first day of Rosh Hashanah. All other activities in the life and death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, even the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, there is only one feast left, and that's Rosh Hashanah that has not been fulfilled.
And they believe that Christ is coming back on that day "because nobody knows the day or the hour," because it goes two or three days. It is not a set time. And they also associate the blowing of the trumpet; the blowing of the shofar, will be introducing the coming of Christ.
Jesus Christ is the Visible image of the invisible God and in the worlds framed by the word of God he is the Man component in the Father son relationship (He.11:3) So when Jesus Christ declares "Before Abraham was, I am" we have an example to what 'After our likeness" means. God the Father, the Son and the Spirit has in the Man validated triadic motives. For instance the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world (Re.13:8) is in the divine Will; he is the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world. He is also the Light , "And the Lamb is the light thereof"-Re.21:23) In short Principle of Similitude sets the the lamb as a motif that shall have modes all related to Trinity. The Word becoming flesh therefore gives an emblem in the Will and it signifies Redemption by his death on the cross. In eternity the true Light reveals the brightness of His glory so throne of God and of the Lamb encapsulates the blessings stipulated in the everlasting covenant.
God's promise to Abraham consequently devolves from this covenant (Ge.12:3) so whosoever is blessed is not tied to time and place but set from everlasting to everlasting.
Sorry, I should have proof read this.

God bless.
God Bless!!!
Thanks, brother,
God bless,

The plurality in Yehovah Elohim never refers to Angels, they don't participate in the creation.
Isaiah 44:24 reads "Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb,
I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens ALONE; that spreadeth abroad the earth BY MYSELF;
So in Genesis 1:1when it reads "In the beginning God/Elohim created the heaven and the earth, it doesn't refer to Angels.
So why is Elohim used and who does this Plural name consist of?
Throughout the creation process Elohim is used.
This reasonably connects Jesus to this claim. John 1:1-3 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
Also in Genesis 1:26 it reads, "And God said, Let US make man in OUR image, after OUR likeness:
Not only did Angels "not" participate in the creation, we're not made in the image or likeness of Angels as shown in 1 Corinthians 15:44-48.
Psalms 19:1 reads, "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
(The creation shows God's greatness, It's his GLORY!)
Isaiah 42:8 reads, "I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another,
But listen to Jesus in John 17:5, "And now, O Father, GLORIFY THOU ME WITH THINE OWN SELF with the glory WHICH I HAD WITH THEE BEFORE THE WORLD WAS.
God bless.
Hope with a gentle persuasion, Whispers her comforting word;

' Who ' is the multitude of the redeemed in whom Yahweh will ultimately be revealed . It refers to a plurality of glorified ones who , will be the manifestation of the Eternal Spirit . Hope that's helpful and not confusing .
God bless
I may be a little slow but if you do not mind could you expand your meaning on "behold him as a nation" and how that relates to Matthew 23:39 or Hosea 5:15?
God bless,
RLW
That is fascinating.
In Matthew 23:39 Jesus states, "For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, (Meaning behold him as a nation)
till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
I wonder how do they view such verses as Matthew 23:39 and Hosea 5:15
"I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.
God bless.
Deuteronomy 6:4
Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:
God bless.
God bless,
RLW
1GOD,who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2Hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son,whom He hath appointed heir of all things,by whom also He made the worlds;
Be careful and Get ready
When "Lord" occurs in the Old Testament, referring to God, it is usually a rendering of "Adonai," a name/title of God that emphasizes His lordship.
In Isaiah 6:3 YEHOVAH is used, "The Jewish national name of God" The self Existent or eternal;
When Isaiah stated LORD of hosts he didn't use Adonai as to emphasis Lord ship over the hosts (Plural)
He emphasizes plurality in singleness!!
Notice how he combines the two into one in the next phrase. ( the whole earth is full of "HIS" glory)
This is who John ascribes to Jesus in John 12.
God bless.
Baca valley is mentioned only once as in v.6
God Bless!!!
In Hebrew.
Deuteronomy 6:4Hear, O Israel: The yehvh our (lhym) is one yehvh
