Thank you, not trying to offend anyone because the belief in this doctrine goes deep. I once believed in the pre-existence of Jesus. In my study, there are too many things that contradict it. Like Matthew 28:19 there is not one baptism done in Scripture, only in the name of Jesus.
John 1:1-5 The reason I understand it as the beginning of Jesus's ministry is John also repeats it in 1 John 1:1 "That was from the beginning". Luke 1:2 also begins his introduction "which from the beginning" it was the beginning of time the apostles were with Jesus. We see in Revelation 19:13 that Jesus's name is called the Word of God, my understanding this is a title it does not say Jesus is God.
Jesus was the Word of God, we see all through Scripture Jesus says it is God's word, not His. In John 1:3 If we take the beginning as Jesus's start of His ministry the beginning of the new creation came into being through Jesus.
We see in John 1:6, that John tells of John the Baptist, a man sent from God, this is also about the beginning of Jesus's ministry when Jesus was anointed the Messiah. In verse 10 it says the world was made by him the Greek word dia could read as well as the world was made through him. That I see as in the plan of God all was through and for Jesus and what He would be since God sees the end the same as the beginning.
The importance that has been placed on this doctrine 400 years after Jesus and the people who have been killed over it, and today many churches will ostracize you. I don't feel the love of God would be in that. If it is that important that it is held equal to the belief in Jesus, Jesus would have told us when He was here but He did not say a word about it.
In His speech to the disciples on the mountain Jesus said many times those words:
"Ye have heard that it hath been said ...But I say unto you..."
or "It hath been said ... But I say unto you..."
Said by whom? Who gave the Law, the commandements in the old times? The answer is, God Himself.
And a question to Jesus could have been. Who are you sir that you dare change God's Laws? What do you make youself when you say "I say" and you put your own words higher than God's words in the past? How do you dare change His Laws?
Let us think, who is eligible to change the Law, to add or subtract to it? The answer is, the person who initially gave the Law, God Himself.
Moses never dared say "I say to you", but he always said "The Lord said".
Only the Lawmaker and Lawgiver is eligible to change His Law, nobody else.
In the vision of St John length of the city,"is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal." Compare with the city in Ch.48 of the Book of Ezekiel. The exist "of the city on the north side, four thousand and five hundred measures.(48:30-35) and of the other sides also measure the same. Each side has three gate with names of three tribes of Israel. However the height is set in terms of the point fixed. "The Lord is there."It refers to that day signifying that inheritance of the 12 tribes shall occur only after the holy city of God descends from heaven. Thus it is the ground zero to which the lots for the 12 shall take their coordinates.
The city above and the city that Ezekiel describes fall under the foursquare which is not only the Word which is God but also the word that became flesh. He is the Prince the prince of Life to whom Ezekiel refers in Ez.44:3.
An idea of this four square we find in the breastplate of the High Priest. "Foursquare it shall be being doubled; a span shall be the length thereof, and a span shall be the breadth thereof." (Ex.28:16). It is the breastplate of judgement which is intended by 'being doubled.' The Word is unto salvation and also unto judgment. The same idea we saw in the Book bound with seven seals,"a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals."(Re.5:1) Unto this day is what is' written within' signifies. Accordingly we have the holy city of God and New Jerusalem prepared in heaven and Jerusalem inherited by the Mixed People refers to the vision of Ezekiel.
"Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation," with 12 foundations for walls and the pearl for several gates evoke urim and thummim.

I understand John 1:18 speaks of Jesus being monogenes (unique), only begotten Son. Thanks for bringing this up. He is a unique son because He is the only son that is ontologically one with the Father and the Holy Spirit, possessing the divine nature fully and equally along with the Father and the Holy Spirit, thus God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit-one divine nature, but three distinct persons, each divine, but not separate from one another-unified and one.
Here is a verse "I have said, Ye are gods; And all of you are children of the most High. But ye shall die like men, And fall like one of the princes."(Ps.82:6-7) Fullness of God in Christ makes us the children of the most High.
Hi Jaz. Not sure to whom you are directing this comment & particularly those two Scripture portions, so apologies if you are writing to brother Ronald.
My two bits worth for your comment: In Isaiah chapter 13, we read of God's denunciation of Babylon. When we get to verse 12, "I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir", the scene of that coming destruction is so great, that men (i.e. fighting men) would be so scarce to find, that if a man can be found alive, his life's worth would be akin to fine gold. That's my understanding - so am not sure what yours is.
And to Ezekiel 44:3 onwards. "Who is this prince?" I understand that the Rabbis generally believe that he refers to the coming Messiah. However, when we consider the passage, we note that the outer East Gate was kept shut and only the LORD God could enter through it. But the prince had access via "the porch of that gate". As well, we read in Ezekiel 45:22 that "upon that day (Passover), shall the prince prepare for himself and for all the people of the land a bullock for a sin offering". Also, this prince has sons to whom he gives gifts of inheritance ( Ezekiel 46:16). So clearly, this prince can never refer to the Messiah, Who would neither offer a sin offering nor have sons, rather to another person of high rank post-captivity (e.g. Zerubbabel, Nehemiah, or another 'prince among the people').

The Book of Job is a set of parables and in this chapter we are dealing with a parable which is the core value of the book. How do we place the sensory values of flesh and blood in terms of soul in terms of the redemption of our soul?. This parable follows twelve other parables.
"Moreover Job continued his parable"(27:1). The above text explains the dilemma of man whose heart is a spiritual space. Forgiving as the Parable of Jesus teaches in Matt.18 is not as personal as one may think. For man chosen before the worlds began and marked for blessings in his Son is a sign as much as God who called him is a sound. "For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out."(1 Ti.6:7) Job puts it eloquently since he is a victim of his human condition, "And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD."( Job 1:21). God blessed his latter half, " also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before." (42:10). We read that God gave same number of children since the children that he had before were already in the presence of God. This begs the question. Is not the fulness of Christ is also that of God which our natural eyes cannot take in? It is called the land of the living where God is the God of the living. "But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying,/I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living."(Matt.22:31-32)
The unforgiving servant for an hundred pence would put his soul in jeopardy. His soul was cast out as was the rich man, "for I am tormented in this flame"( Luke 16:24)
Isaiah 13:12 , who is this man that God will make ? Ezekiel 44:3 all the way through to Ezekiel 48:22 , who is this prince ? You once asked, 'how then do I view your own position before the Lord?' As I said, I accept you as a brother in Christ, just as I accept all who love His Name & covered by His Blood. And I will repeat, the Scriptures you shared were a joy to read, but to adequately deal with this subject of the Deity of Christ, one must open up ALL the Scriptures to reveal the True Christ and not limit oneself to a select few. If we only had the ones you shared here, I would do very well to accept that Jesus had no eternity past (except in the mind of God, yet to be revealed to the World). But there are other Scriptures that I have to deal with, and to avoid them or re-interpret them would not pacify my conscience at all. Blessings to you.
How could Jesus have shared God's Glory before the creation of the worlds, if He only came as a Man over two millennia ago? Was Jesus wrong or misguided in His prayer? Or, have we somehow misunderstood this verse, which seems quite plainly given?
John 20:17 and 1 Corinthians 11:3 (& others): all showing Jesus' subordinate position to the Father, by virtue of His coming in the Flesh.
1 John 2:22. One can easily interpret this verse as given: 'if a person denies the Messiahship of Christ, then he denies/rejects the relationship of the Father to the Son'. But when we couple the same John writing, "And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world" ( 1 John 4:3), we see another view of his understanding.
What are the possible interpretations of this? There may be some who altogether deny the historical Jesus (though they would be few in number, leaning towards ignorance). Then there would be some who believe that Jesus did not come as a human at all, but as a 'phantom', or a vision/dream. This might be believed by some now, but certainly not to those in His days where He preached, showed compassion, touched & was touched physically by so many. So given that John here believes that Jesus' Life on Earth was not as some would proclaim, but rather that John is pointing his readers to this Jesus, Whom they have seen & touched, is not a mere man, but the One from God. The spirit that is not of God doesn't deny the reality of the historical Man Jesus, for "the devils believe, and tremble", but that spirit that is 'against Christ' will always move men to discard the Pre-existent Christ, not affording Him His full Deity & Glory. Onto Page 3.

Thanks for those great Scriptures which clearly support your understanding & belief that Jesus Christ made His first appearance on Earth as a human babe & His Words always pointed to His Father & His position on Earth & now in Heaven He as a Son subject to the Father. And so He is, as One coming in the flesh & giving due honor and glory to God in all things. But as you would expect, I cannot leave it there.
In the past, we have discussed John 1:1, & if I remember correctly, "In the beginning" in your understanding, is 'In the beginning of Christ's Ministry' and not 'In the beginning ('arche') of all things' as pertaining to man's perception of the infinite past. So as we read through John 1:1ff, I would find it difficult to apply 'the beginning of Christ's Ministry' to the next verses 2-4, "The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men". If Jesus was the recipient & embodiment of God's Word at His Coming to Earth, how could the "the same" (Jesus the Word) be with God in the beginning and 'all things made by Him'? And to this, the apostle speaks of in Colossians 1:13-17: that 'by Jesus were all things created..that He is before all things, and by Him all things consist'.
So, I bring up John 1 here as a spring board to a few of the other Scriptures you've quoted. As mentioned, these are all great verses, yet they only show one aspect of Jesus & not in His Fullness.
You quoted John 17:1-3. Precious verses in a part of His prayer to the Father that they both be glorified, that those whom the Father has given Him might have eternal life & the knowledge of God. But just two verses on, verse 5, Jesus adds this bold statement in His prayer, "And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was". Onto Page 2.
What a great post on the uniqueness of God! I am not trying to add to or take away from anything you said here, just wanted to share something that came to mind as I was reading through this. In Part 2, you showed how God is unique in the way He exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen!
John 1:18 came to mind and I'm not sure if you considered it or not, but it speaks also of the uniqueness of Christ. In the phrase "the only begotten Son," the word begotten (MONOGENES) can be translated unique. Jesus is the only unique one from the Father, the only one in human form that represents God.

That is an interesting question, one I'm sure has been overlooked over the years. I probably never would have caught that, or even given it much thought. But that is a good question that you present. I also see in the KJB 1611 that the word name is capitalized to "Name." But what I find more interesting is that Jesus is not in all caps in the 1611, only in modern King James versions is the name JESUS in all caps.
Matthew 1:21 in the 1611 KJB:
"And she shall bring forth a sonne, and thou shalt call his Name Iesus: for hee shall saue his people from their sinnes."
Matthew 1:21 in Modern KJB:
"And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins."
It is interesting to note that the 1611 capitalizes the word Name, but it is not capitalized in modern KJB's which most KJB readers use today. Also in the 1611, only the first letter in Jesus (Iesus) is capitalized, whereas the modern KJB capitalizes every letter JESUS.
That is a tough question to answer. I tried to do some online research but with no luck. I think brother Ronald has given you some good information. Perhaps the word Name is capitalized to bring emphasis to Jesus, as Ronald has mentioned. And then instead of capitalizing the word name in the newer KJB, they capitalized the entire name JESUS.
In the 1611 KJV, back then they used capitalization in different ways. They used it for emphasis and to bring attention to a topic. In the revised version of what we have today, instead of Name they capitalized every letter in His name, JESUS, to shine a light on the importance of His name.
Before we go into the Parable let us set the ground rules. Our heart is set in terms of the day. It is in this context Jesus said, "Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof."(Matt.6:34) It is where you pay close attention to what you may do and how you may do it. How the things of itself may take care of the morrow is from the fulness of Christ. In terms of the blessings seven days is to bring you into the fulness of God where the people's covenant has promised your place.
St Peters asks Jesus a question and Jesus says, " Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven."(18:22) Seven refers to seven days in the covenant, each day has been settled between God and Man on your behalf. So you forgive the man who offended you because God made you to be the partaker of the Day. "and God divided the light from the darkness./And God called the light Day,"(Ge.1:4-5) The second day your blessings come the God of all mercies from heaven. It is thus seven times 70, the perfection of being in Christ has made a perfect fit among the inheritance of saints in light. This is eternity where your heart only need take care of 'the day'. What is an hundred pence? It may be prejudice, born out of your irrational fear of the other man being of colour or not belonging to us? What is the worth of a measly one buck when God has promised you everlasting life and his abiding Presence. If you cannot let go of it and forgive from your heart, you are a hypocrite and a son of Perdition. For it is Satan who keeps Us and them alive. It is very much in these apostate churches and rogues, call them Pope,Patriarch, pastor or what you will, the truth is that they shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

God refers to him as one who is made without fear. The Leviathan is a creature even as morning stars are. "By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent."( Job 26:13) God mentions another creature who is qualified as Behemoth "He is the chief of the ways of God."(40:15-19).God mentions these two instances to show what his right hand signifies. His right hand is decked with majesty and excellency; and in his wrath he arrays himself with glory and beauty and it performs wonders, "And behold every one that is proud, and abase him./Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; and tread down the wicked in their place./Hide them in the dust together; and bind their faces in secret.:(40:10-13)
God mentions another creation that is so wanting in wisdom but even so she is compared to 'the fools for Christ's sake." This bird is foolish and in 39:13-16 we read thus: the ostrich "Which leaveth her eggs in the earth, and warmeth them in dust,/ And forgetteth that the foot may crush them, or that the wild beast may break them./She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not her's." Her Christian virtue is in her faith. Jesus asked, Who is my mother or my brethren? "Her labour is in vain without fear," and benevolence of God takes care of her. This trust is what the children of pride lacks.
We shall compare the stars, the angels of seven churches which are in the right hand of Jesus Christ. (Re.1:20). In Ez.28 and Is.14 we have the Leviathan as Lucifer. Greeting everybody. I have a question about Mathew chapter 1 verse 21 in the KJV 1611 version. The word "name" just before Iesus is capitalized to "Name". Now, I don't know to much but, I do know that capitalization is for the first word in a sentence and proper names only. So, what gives? Any ideas?

We see in John 1:6, that John tells of John the Baptist, a man sent from God, this is also about the beginning of Jesus's ministry when Jesus was anointed the Messiah. In verse 10 it says the world was made by him the Greek word dia could read as well as the world was made through him. That I see as in the plan of God all was through and for Jesus and what He would be since God sees the end the same as the beginning.
The importance that has been placed on this doctrine 400 years after Jesus and the people who have been killed over it, and today many churches will ostracize you. I don't feel the love of God would be in that. If it is that important that it is held equal to the belief in Jesus, Jesus would have told us when He was here but He did not say a word about it.

Said by whom? Who gave the Law, the commandements in the old times? The answer is, God Himself.
And a question to Jesus could have been. Who are you sir that you dare change God's Laws? What do you make youself when you say "I say" and you put your own words higher than God's words in the past? How do you dare change His Laws?
Let us think, who is eligible to change the Law, to add or subtract to it? The answer is, the person who initially gave the Law, God Himself.
Moses never dared say "I say to you", but he always said "The Lord said".
Only the Lawmaker and Lawgiver is eligible to change His Law, nobody else.
In the vision of St John length of the city,"is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal." Compare with the city in Ch.48 of the Book of Ezekiel. The exist "of the city on the north side, four thousand and five hundred measures.(48:30-35) and of the other sides also measure the same. Each side has three gate with names of three tribes of Israel. However the height is set in terms of the point fixed. "The Lord is there."It refers to that day signifying that inheritance of the 12 tribes shall occur only after the holy city of God descends from heaven. Thus it is the ground zero to which the lots for the 12 shall take their coordinates.
The city above and the city that Ezekiel describes fall under the foursquare which is not only the Word which is God but also the word that became flesh. He is the Prince the prince of Life to whom Ezekiel refers in Ez.44:3.
An idea of this four square we find in the breastplate of the High Priest. "Foursquare it shall be being doubled; a span shall be the length thereof, and a span shall be the breadth thereof." (Ex.28:16). It is the breastplate of judgement which is intended by 'being doubled.' The Word is unto salvation and also unto judgment. The same idea we saw in the Book bound with seven seals,"a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals."(Re.5:1) Unto this day is what is' written within' signifies. Accordingly we have the holy city of God and New Jerusalem prepared in heaven and Jerusalem inherited by the Mixed People refers to the vision of Ezekiel.
"Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation," with 12 foundations for walls and the pearl for several gates evoke urim and thummim.

I understand John 1:18 speaks of Jesus being monogenes (unique), only begotten Son. Thanks for bringing this up. He is a unique son because He is the only son that is ontologically one with the Father and the Holy Spirit, possessing the divine nature fully and equally along with the Father and the Holy Spirit, thus God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit-one divine nature, but three distinct persons, each divine, but not separate from one another-unified and one.
Here is a verse "I have said, Ye are gods; And all of you are children of the most High. But ye shall die like men, And fall like one of the princes."(Ps.82:6-7) Fullness of God in Christ makes us the children of the most High.
My two bits worth for your comment: In Isaiah chapter 13, we read of God's denunciation of Babylon. When we get to verse 12, "I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir", the scene of that coming destruction is so great, that men (i.e. fighting men) would be so scarce to find, that if a man can be found alive, his life's worth would be akin to fine gold. That's my understanding - so am not sure what yours is.
And to Ezekiel 44:3 onwards. "Who is this prince?" I understand that the Rabbis generally believe that he refers to the coming Messiah. However, when we consider the passage, we note that the outer East Gate was kept shut and only the LORD God could enter through it. But the prince had access via "the porch of that gate". As well, we read in Ezekiel 45:22 that "upon that day (Passover), shall the prince prepare for himself and for all the people of the land a bullock for a sin offering". Also, this prince has sons to whom he gives gifts of inheritance ( Ezekiel 46:16). So clearly, this prince can never refer to the Messiah, Who would neither offer a sin offering nor have sons, rather to another person of high rank post-captivity (e.g. Zerubbabel, Nehemiah, or another 'prince among the people').
You did also state that "Christ is God manifest in the flesh because he was not born through lust but by the power of God's Holy Spirit and was filled without measure". That certainly is a great statement that Jesus is God manifest in the flesh, but even this can be misunderstood, as we can read it as 'Jesus was endued with the fullness of God's Spirit at His Birth & thus became God in the flesh'; or, 'Jesus came forth from within God's Person to take on human flesh, always endued with God's Spirit'. Maybe you could clarify that for us. Thank you & blessings.

The Book of Job is a set of parables and in this chapter we are dealing with a parable which is the core value of the book. How do we place the sensory values of flesh and blood in terms of soul in terms of the redemption of our soul?. This parable follows twelve other parables.
"Moreover Job continued his parable"(27:1). The above text explains the dilemma of man whose heart is a spiritual space. Forgiving as the Parable of Jesus teaches in Matt.18 is not as personal as one may think. For man chosen before the worlds began and marked for blessings in his Son is a sign as much as God who called him is a sound. "For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out."(1 Ti.6:7) Job puts it eloquently since he is a victim of his human condition, "And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD."( Job 1:21). God blessed his latter half, " also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before." (42:10). We read that God gave same number of children since the children that he had before were already in the presence of God. This begs the question. Is not the fulness of Christ is also that of God which our natural eyes cannot take in? It is called the land of the living where God is the God of the living. "But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying,/I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living."(Matt.22:31-32)
The unforgiving servant for an hundred pence would put his soul in jeopardy. His soul was cast out as was the rich man, "for I am tormented in this flame"( Luke 16:24)
You once asked, 'how then do I view your own position before the Lord?' As I said, I accept you as a brother in Christ, just as I accept all who love His Name & covered by His Blood. But what the Father sees & how He judges, is not in my knowledge or power. Maybe He 'winks at various times of ignorance', but will surely continue to lead us in His Truth.
And I will repeat, the Scriptures you shared were a joy to read, but to adequately deal with this subject of the Deity of Christ, one must open up ALL the Scriptures to reveal the True Christ and not limit oneself to a select few. If we only had the ones you shared here, I would do very well to accept that Jesus had no eternity past (except in the mind of God, yet to be revealed to the World). But there are other Scriptures that I have to deal with, and to avoid them or re-interpret them would not pacify my conscience at all. Blessings to you.
How could Jesus have shared God's Glory before the creation of the worlds, if He only came as a Man over two millennia ago? Was Jesus wrong or misguided in His prayer? Or, have we somehow misunderstood this verse, which seems quite plainly given?
John 20:17 and 1 Corinthians 11:3 (& others): all showing Jesus' subordinate position to the Father, by virtue of His coming in the Flesh.
1 John 2:22. One can easily interpret this verse as given: 'if a person denies the Messiahship of Christ, then he denies/rejects the relationship of the Father to the Son'. But when we couple the same John writing, "And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world" ( 1 John 4:3), we see another view of his understanding.
What are the possible interpretations of this? There may be some who altogether deny the historical Jesus (though they would be few in number, leaning towards ignorance). Then there would be some who believe that Jesus did not come as a human at all, but as a 'phantom', or a vision/dream. This might be believed by some now, but certainly not to those in His days where He preached, showed compassion, touched & was touched physically by so many. So given that John here believes that Jesus' Life on Earth was not as some would proclaim, but rather that John is pointing his readers to this Jesus, Whom they have seen & touched, is not a mere man, but the One from God. The spirit that is not of God doesn't deny the reality of the historical Man Jesus, for "the devils believe, and tremble", but that spirit that is 'against Christ' will always move men to discard the Pre-existent Christ, not affording Him His full Deity & Glory. Onto Page 3.
Brother Ronald. Thanks for those great Scriptures which clearly support your understanding & belief that Jesus Christ made His first appearance on Earth as a human babe & His Words always pointed to His Father & His position on Earth & now in Heaven He as a Son subject to the Father. And so He is, as One coming in the flesh & giving due honor and glory to God in all things. But as you would expect, I cannot leave it there.
In the past, we have discussed John 1:1, & if I remember correctly, "In the beginning" in your understanding, is 'In the beginning of Christ's Ministry' and not 'In the beginning ('arche') of all things' as pertaining to man's perception of the infinite past. So as we read through John 1:1ff, I would find it difficult to apply 'the beginning of Christ's Ministry' to the next verses 2-4, "The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men". If Jesus was the recipient & embodiment of God's Word at His Coming to Earth, how could the "the same" (Jesus the Word) be with God in the beginning and 'all things made by Him'? And to this, the apostle speaks of in Colossians 1:13-17: that 'by Jesus were all things created..that He is before all things, and by Him all things consist'.
So, I bring up John 1 here as a spring board to a few of the other Scriptures you've quoted. As mentioned, these are all great verses, yet they only show one aspect of Jesus & not in His Fullness.
You quoted John 17:1-3. Precious verses in a part of His prayer to the Father that they both be glorified, that those whom the Father has given Him might have eternal life & the knowledge of God. But just two verses on, verse 5, Jesus adds this bold statement in His prayer, "And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was". Onto Page 2.
What a great post on the uniqueness of God! I am not trying to add to or take away from anything you said here, just wanted to share something that came to mind as I was reading through this. In Part 2, you showed how God is unique in the way He exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen!
John 1:18 came to mind and I'm not sure if you considered it or not, but it speaks also of the uniqueness of Christ. In the phrase "the only begotten Son," the word begotten (MONOGENES) can be translated unique. Jesus is the only unique one from the Father, the only one in human form that represents God.

That is an interesting question, one I'm sure has been overlooked over the years. I probably never would have caught that, or even given it much thought. But that is a good question that you present. I also see in the KJB 1611 that the word name is capitalized to "Name." But what I find more interesting is that Jesus is not in all caps in the 1611, only in modern King James versions is the name JESUS in all caps.
Matthew 1:21 in the 1611 KJB:
"And she shall bring forth a sonne, and thou shalt call his Name Iesus: for hee shall saue his people from their sinnes."
Matthew 1:21 in Modern KJB:
"And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins."
It is interesting to note that the 1611 capitalizes the word Name, but it is not capitalized in modern KJB's which most KJB readers use today. Also in the 1611, only the first letter in Jesus (Iesus) is capitalized, whereas the modern KJB capitalizes every letter JESUS.
That is a tough question to answer. I tried to do some online research but with no luck. I think brother Ronald has given you some good information. Perhaps the word Name is capitalized to bring emphasis to Jesus, as Ronald has mentioned. And then instead of capitalizing the word name in the newer KJB, they capitalized the entire name JESUS.

In the 1611 KJV, back then they used capitalization in different ways. They used it for emphasis and to bring attention to a topic. In the revised version of what we have today, instead of Name they capitalized every letter in His name, JESUS, to shine a light on the importance of His name.

Before we go into the Parable let us set the ground rules. Our heart is set in terms of the day. It is in this context Jesus said, "Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof."(Matt.6:34) It is where you pay close attention to what you may do and how you may do it. How the things of itself may take care of the morrow is from the fulness of Christ. In terms of the blessings seven days is to bring you into the fulness of God where the people's covenant has promised your place.
St Peters asks Jesus a question and Jesus says, " Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven."(18:22) Seven refers to seven days in the covenant, each day has been settled between God and Man on your behalf. So you forgive the man who offended you because God made you to be the partaker of the Day. "and God divided the light from the darkness./And God called the light Day,"(Ge.1:4-5) The second day your blessings come the God of all mercies from heaven. It is thus seven times 70, the perfection of being in Christ has made a perfect fit among the inheritance of saints in light. This is eternity where your heart only need take care of 'the day'. What is an hundred pence? It may be prejudice, born out of your irrational fear of the other man being of colour or not belonging to us? What is the worth of a measly one buck when God has promised you everlasting life and his abiding Presence. If you cannot let go of it and forgive from your heart, you are a hypocrite and a son of Perdition. For it is Satan who keeps Us and them alive. It is very much in these apostate churches and rogues, call them Pope,Patriarch, pastor or what you will, the truth is that they shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
"Upon earth there is not his like, who is made without fear./He beholdeth all high things: he is a king over all the children of pride."
God refers to him as one who is made without fear. The Leviathan is a creature even as morning stars are. "By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent."( Job 26:13) God mentions another creature who is qualified as Behemoth "He is the chief of the ways of God."(40:15-19).God mentions these two instances to show what his right hand signifies. His right hand is decked with majesty and excellency; and in his wrath he arrays himself with glory and beauty and it performs wonders, "And behold every one that is proud, and abase him./Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; and tread down the wicked in their place./Hide them in the dust together; and bind their faces in secret.:(40:10-13)
God mentions another creation that is so wanting in wisdom but even so she is compared to 'the fools for Christ's sake." This bird is foolish and in 39:13-16 we read thus: the ostrich "Which leaveth her eggs in the earth, and warmeth them in dust,/ And forgetteth that the foot may crush them, or that the wild beast may break them./She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not her's." Her Christian virtue is in her faith. Jesus asked, Who is my mother or my brethren? "Her labour is in vain without fear," and benevolence of God takes care of her. This trust is what the children of pride lacks.
We shall compare the stars, the angels of seven churches which are in the right hand of Jesus Christ. (Re.1:20). In Ez.28 and Is.14 we have the Leviathan as Lucifer. He beholdeth all things so what does he say? " I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High./Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit." (Is.14:14-15) Profusion of precious stone describe his scales 'which are pride'.(Ez.28:13; Job 41:15)
