John 8:58 - Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
Literally, "Before Abraham was in existence, I AM in existence!" Before Abraham was in existence, I was already in existence, and always had been. The "I AM" of the Old Testament!
John 9:27 - He answered them, I have told you already, and ye did not hear: wherefore would ye hear it again? will ye also be his disciples?
It says, "will you also be his disciples? In the Greek text it expects the answer no.
John 9:34 - They answered and said unto him, Thou wast altogether born in sins, and dost thou teach us? And they cast him out.
That is the official term for excommunication. They kicked him out!
John 9:40 - And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?
The Greek text says that they expected the answer no. We are not blind also are we, looking to Jesus?
John 10:1 - Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
Thief and robber, very interesting words in the Greek text! The reason why there are two different words here that pretty much represent the same thing is because there are two different words in the Greek New Testament.
Some people get confused about this. They believe that that Jesus died between two thieves, but in the NIV, in the gospel of John, it says that He died amongst criminals, which is true. It doesn't say anything about thieves.
Well, Matthew, Mark and Luke, they mention the fact that He died amongst robbers. That is where we get that part of it. The only difference between a thief and a robber is that a thief will steal by stealth or by deception. A robber does it by force. So, thieves and robbers, these are depicted in the Jewish proverb as false Christ's and false teachers.
John 8:24 - I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye do not believe that I AM, and even though it says "he" at the end, the Greek text just says "I AM." It is the name of God in Exodus 3:14, when Moses was going to go to Pharaoh and say, "God says let my people go," and they ask, "Well what is your name, what do I tell them?" God says tell them I AM has sent you, the eternally existent one! Unless you believe that I AM, you shall die in your sins.
John 8:27 - They understood not that he spake to them of the Father.
I think it's very interesting, and just to point out a technical point, there at the end where it says, "of the Father," it is just "the Father."
"They understood not that He spoke to them the Father." He gave them and spoke the Father to them, not Himself!
John 8:31 - Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
Then said Jesus to those Jews who had believed on him, and the word "believed" is a Perfect Tense. They were in a condition of belief. If you continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and the word "indeed" in Greek is the word genuine. If you continue in my word, (remain in it, dwell in it), then you are my genuine disciples;
John 8:43 - Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
The word "cannot" in Greek is the word ability or capacity. You do not have the capacity to hear my word. In 1 Corinthians 2:14, Paul says that the natural man cannot understand the things of God, and the Holy Spirit comes and reveals the deep things of God.
Only the person who has the Spirit of God can understand the things of God. The natural man does not understand spiritual things. So, Jesus is telling them that in your natural unbelieving state, you are not able to hear my word.
John 7:35 - Then said the Jews among themselves, Whither will he go, that we shall not find him? will he go unto the dispersed among the Gentiles, and teach the Gentiles?
These are called the Hellenists in the Greek text. They are talking about the Jews who have left Jerusalem and gone to live in Greek communities. They are Greek speaking Jews. And so, they are saying "Is He going to go amongst the Gentiles and teach the Gentiles," but they are making reference to Hellenists. That is a title for the Greek speaking Jews.
John 7:37 - In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
So, on this last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood, and it is interesting that the word "stood" is a Perfect Tense meaning He had been standing through the entire ceremony.
John 7:51 - Doth our law judge any man, before it hear him, and know what he doeth?
The Greek text causes us to expect the answer no. Or yes, our law does let a man present himself, but no, our law does not judge a man before it hears him or knows what he does.
John 8:2 - And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them.
Now the word "came," again is in the Imperfect Tense. They were flowing, people were just flowing to come and see Him, crowds of people, and He sat down and taught them. That is the position of the Rabbi. The Rabbi would always sit down to teach.
John 8:10 - When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?
The word "condemned" in the Greek (KATEKRINEN) is a judicial term meaning "passed sentence." Has no one passed sentence on you?
John 7:15 - And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned?
The Greek word for the word "letters" is GRAMMA (Pronounced Grah-ma. In Greek, gramma actually means the individual letters of the alphabet, and then it came to be used for putting the letters together to pronounce words. And then thirdly, it reached a phase where it represented all writings that had words in them.
So, they are saying, "He's uneducated, He's never attended any of our religious schools. Where does He have all of this wisdom and knowledge?"
John 7:17 - If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.
Literally, that first part of this verse in the Greek text reads, "If anyone should will to do His will."
The word "will" is that free will process, or that decision making process. When we approach life and approach the word of God, what is our motivation? Is it so that we can do His will? We'll know whether it is right or not from the Bible. Isn't that interesting? That is a guarantee. It says that you shall know of the doctrine whether it be of God or whether I speak of myself.
Not all Christians have the right motive in the approach to the word of God. The bible is for people who say, "I really want to know what the Lord's will is." What does God say about this so I can do it? These are like personal letters from God to us saying here is my will for your life. I'm just saying that when you want to do the Lord's will, you'll know whether the teaching is from God or not.
Not when you compare it to your human desires, not when you compare it to your personal opinions, not when you compare it to what you want out of life., but as a surrendered disciple who wants to do the will of God, you will know whether the doctrine is right or not. You'll know whether that doctrine was inspired by the same Spirit that lives inside you that inspires you to want to do God's will.
John 6:63 - It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
The word quickeneth means make alive. It is the spirit that makes alive, the flesh profits nothing: In other words, there is no spiritual benefit in the flesh. Zero! The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. They are not physical. It is spirit. It is not physical life, it is spiritual life. So, He says everything that I just told you about my flesh, and my blood, take that and change it into spiritual metaphors and you'll have what it means.
John 6:70 - Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?
Literally, the word demon!
John 7:1 - After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him.
After these things (META TOUTA), meaning right after the things in Chapter 6, Jesus walked in Galilee: for He would not walk in Jewry, (that is, in Judea), because the Jews were seeking to kill Him.
John 7:11 - Then the Jews sought him at the feast, and said, Where is he?
Remember the Jews, plural, whenever it says the Jews in the plural, it is representing the leaders. So, the Jews were seeking Him at the feast, and said, where is He?
John 7:14 - Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught.
The word taught is called the Imperfect Tense, continually teaching in the temple. And what is interesting is that He went up in the middle of the feast, not at the beginning of the feast.
The feast had started. People were looking for Him. He wasn't there. So, everybody starts turning their attention towards the activities of the feast, and then Jesus went into the temple around the middle of the feast.

These are examples of people in fear, sickness and death situations and my ways and interpetation to overcome through Jesus Christ is God died /sacrifice on the cross , buried in a grave, after 3 day rose from the dead.
1) A man with health concerns was about to undergo another major surgery, he said that while he was anxious about his health and didn't want to die, he wasn't afraid of being sick or dying. He was asked why -and said he knew that whatever happened, God was in control. My interpetation he had faith ( Psalms 30:2 KJV ) and believed Jesus Christ is God ( Isaiah 56:6 KJV )
2) A trembling woman who had been sick for many years approached Jesus . Then she touched the edge of his cloak and was immediately healed! While she was afraid to speak up about what she had done. Jesus assured her that her faith in him had made her whole. Here is a textual scripture: Mark 5:25-34 KJV My interpetation is meaning she listened to God's commands believing the truth-Jesus Christ is God.( Isaiah 54:10 KJV,) bringing and end to the law Romans 10:4 KJV meaning made well and healed.
Mark 5:33 KJV
33 But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth. And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.
3)Sickness and death are things that we all fear in one way or another My interpetation believing in God and not believing in God. But as we look at these grim realities, we need to see them through the lens of a Jesus sacrifice for us My interpetation: ( Matthew 3:2 KJV, Matthew 4:19 KJV, John 3:16 KJV) and God love for us Romans 5:8 KJV.
Matthew 3:2 KJV
And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Matthew 4:19 KJV
And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
Have someone ever spoke to you or gave you writings about God's love?

You are right, in Scripture lineage is usually traced through the genetics of the father. So, the sperm cell is the link between generations (the "begatting" is from the father).
But in the case of the promise in Genesis, the promised Seed would receive His humanity from His mother naturally but from God supernaturally.
Biologically, what I explained about ova and sperm both being "seed" is played out somewhat in plants. The germ for the seeds are made by the female plant and the pollen from the stamen fertilizes these germs which mature into fruit and then seeds. But it takes both male and female cells to create a flower, fruit or seeds.
It is interesting that Genesis speaks of the seed of the woman. We do not know if this was referring that women have "seed" as in ova, that contribute to the genetic makeup of progeny or specifically to the offspring (Seed) of the woman as in Jesus conceived in the virgin Mary without male sperm from any human man. We do not know exactly what happened in this conception. Whether God created male DNA in a sperm He put into marry to fertilize her ovum or if God placed the male DNA directly into her ovum to conceive Jesus. We just do not know.
But we do know that Jesus was fully human, having 26 human chromosomes, and that He was fully God, never having been created, having a beginning, or being generated from the Father at some time in eternity past. His divine nature is eternal and His Sonship to the Father is also eternal. The Father has always been the Father of the Son and the Son has always been the son of the Father.
And then there is the work of the Holy Spirit in Jesus' conception in Mary and with bringing the divine Son into union with the human nature. it is a profound mystery. But I am sure glad God within His three Persons did this for our salvation and for His glory. Have a good night.
But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.

39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Ways you can rely on God's love and overcome sickness, and death are recognizing God's presence,. Trusting in his sovereignty, boistering our faith, and embracing his love. Reading your holy bilble, praying having thoughts of God that your heart will be at.( Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV)
Have healthy relationships with God enjoying healthy relationships with one another.
Having Christian morals, man and woman of you word and virtue. Always tell the truth. Treat others as you want to be treated confirming yourself in the image of God. That God exists. You and your thoughts becoming existence/like God Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV, Genesis 1:27 KJV his son, daughter, or children.
What not to do to rely on God love and overcome fearsickness , and death is to be bitter and harm others, steal, cheat, liar, not working correctly.
I have believed Jesus Christ is God and have had faith practicing and speaking into existence these ways to rely on God's love and overcome fear ,sickness and death.

As I was thinking about what you wrote in your post, I remembered that Jesus actually did make a similar miracle. In the marriage in Cana of Galilee He turned water into wine. That was immediately after His baptism by John the Baptist. And also it was before Him going to the wilderness. So I was thinking that satan had actually seen Jesus turning miraculously a thing to another (so it seems there is no problem doing that). So satan knew Jesus could do that. So why did he ask Him to do something similar again? My thought is that he was trying to get into a discussion with Jesus, the same way he went into a discussion with Eve, "Has God told you not to eat from every tree in the garden?". And depending on Jesus' answer he would had set his trap. Unlike Eve, Jesus didn't go jnto a discussion with him but answered using a scripture. Similarly He used scriptures in the next 2 temptations. This sets an example for us. Do not ever get into a discussion with devil. He comes with thoughts. Answer him by a scripture.
Well all that reminded me of something that had occurred to me long ago just after I believed. One day as I was walking in the streets, some thoughts were popping in my mind. Thoughts about how God didn't answer some prayers of mine and didn't help me in some situations, so He doesn't love me...this sort of things. And I kept thinking about these for some time and some not so nice feelings for God came into my heart. Sometime God spoke in my heart and said , "why do you get into a discussion with satan? Don't you know that you can not outplay him?" And I suddenly realised that all those thoughts were not mine but were placed in my mind by devil. He wanted me to have bad feelings for God and somehow he managed it a bit. This is a lesson that I sometimes forget to be honest. When this sort of thoughts come in our minds we must always think and answer with the proper scripture. Nothing else,
In scripture when identifying a man and his genealogy it's always the seed of the man.
It's a contradiction with the Hebrew usage of the term when saying "Seed of the woman.
We know he's not talking biologically because that would be Abel or Seth or another one of their unnamed children.
Identifying the genealogy of someone in scripture is always Identified through the man.
What's interesting is Adam is left out!
Christ was to be born of a woman in the lineage of Israel and his father was God.!
There is no need for a biological seed here. It wasn't a biological birth, Christ came from pre-existance origin.
This is amplified in Isaiah 7:13-14.
Elsewhere the seed is mentioned and identified in relation to Genesis 3:15 is Genesis 22:18 "And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
"And confirmed in Galatians 3:16 "Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
"But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you." St Paul is stating God, a Spirit which is Law, so his Word states the Law of the Spirit. There are no ifs and buts there. The Word while giving a sign regarding the Virgin birth establishes fact, and it speaks for itself. Ipso facto is a Latin phrase, directly translated as "by the fact itself", which means that a specific phenomenon is a direct consequence, a resultant effect, of the action in question, instead of being brought about by a previous action. Whereas human spirit exercises intellect like the five blind men trying to arrive at a consensus what an elephant is. The creature is not sum of its parts but created by God. So the Spirit of God set the law of sin to explain the pride of the covering cherub was altogether his own invention. Satan would not have understood the Word becoming flesh and propitiation for the sin of fallen man. One only need compare the manner former POTUS cannot understand why he lost the election of 2020; In order to justify his bigotry he still has no insight nor appreciation that it is not color the issue but his lack of fitness for the job he is aiming. Lucifer would in the spirit of pride claim, "I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High." (Is.14:14) Law of the Spirit found iniquity in him and shall be judged accordingly." The Word of God is the Law. "Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit." (v.15) If man is in the Spirit he cannot be seeking what the godless world craves.
Jesus did not claim for a place to lay his head on while he walked the earth. He was led by the Spirit and 40 days forty nights are not number of days as such but prepared for temptation. Satan tempted but to no avail. Satan left him seeking occasions in future.
"If thou be God If thou be the Son of God, command" Devils believe Jas.2:19 but they do not submit. So it was fake.
It is a matter of being under the rule of Christ that we will submit to obedience to Him, our God and King, or being under the rule of sin when one would submit to it's dominion. Thank God He has given us the victory in Christ Jesus.
As unbelievers, we could not submit to God, but will be in bondage to sin as long was we are unregenerate. But as believers, we can live for God in the righteousness of Christ and we can deny the sinful nature with the power of His death and resurrection.
Sorry Oseas, something went wrong with the paragraphing function.
Satan was testing Jesus to learn mor about Him since Jesus was just declared to be the beloved Son of God at His baptism.
I believe the Scripture text tells us that Jesus was tempted over the full forty days, but after the full forty days and nights were over, Satan tempted Him in the three instances recorded as final tests. Satan failed to draw Jesus to sin, but did learn more about Jesus to aid in the plan he would be devising and seeking to accomplish during the remainder of Jesus' earthly life.
I wish you well, Oseas. We differ on many things. I stand by what I wrote in my post to you. I do think that you twist Scripture yet you claim to abide by Scripture. Like all of us, when we are criticized by another believer, we would examine ourselves to we if we truly are of the faith that Scripture teaches. If upon examination we find that we are, then good. If we are erring, then we must humbly seek the Lord to be corrected and brought into alignment with the true teaching of the Word.
I pray that we will all grow up into the full measure of faith that we have been blessed with by the Holy Spirit.
Again, I will return to what I said to you in my last post to you. I do not wish to engage in a prolonged discussion with you. But I have a few things to say to you concerning this post of yours.
I agree that Satan knows a lot that we do not know, but the Scriptures also say that things revealed concerning things that come from the Spirit of God are only discerned by those who have the Spirit of God dwelling in them. Satan did not have the Spirit, so He would not have known or understand a lot of things that God knew or even revealed by His Spirit in and through the prophets.
See 1 Cor. 2:14
Satan was a glorious creature who became God's opponent, not God's opposite. He is far lesser than God and does not have the attributes of omniscience, omnipotence, or omni-presence. He can implant ideas into someone's mind, but I don't read anywhere that Satan can read minds.
Also, to go back to your previous response to me, If you read Luke 4:1-2 and Mark 1:12-13 you will note that the Scriptures say that Jesus went into the wilderness to be tempted for 40 days. The word used for "tempted" in Greek means a continuous action. That is why I said that the devil was tempting Jesus "probing" or "testing" (the Greek word used for tempting means this) Jesus for 40 days. He was trying to find out if Jesus truly was the Son of God, whether He was simply human, or
Biologically, a woman has ova, which can be seen as a type of seed. And the man has sperm, which can be seen as a type of seed. However, God made these "seeds" on their own cannot make another being of its own kind. Both "seeds" are needed for conception to occur. With Jesus, Mary's "seed" (ovum) was used to conceive Jesus, but God the Father provided the remaining 'seed" needed for conception. I am not saying that the Father had any kind of sexual relations with Mary because that is so false, bit the Father created the male DNA for Jesus' humanity that would determine him to be male. God the Father was always the Father of God the Son, but in the framework of time, God was the Father of His Son's humanity. Jesus was divinely the Son of God, and also Son of Man by the Father's creation of His body and human nature combined with Mary's human DNA and the nurture of her womb for Jesus to be born.
For me, God is not in the shadows, I believe God is ever present. God cannot be seen by man, God is a spirit, that being said God's Holy Spirit can be felt or experienced, as it it manifested or brought forth or made known by believers engaging in God's presence, continually or at any moment.
I understand that the bride of Christ is the Church, which is that embodies all believers and that as an individual I am and will become a "son of God" not merely a servant of God and that I am and will be one of His God's dear children.
Having I read your post about Genesis 3, I remained in my meditation and thinking there was the beginning of the world in which we live today. All began with the dialogue between the Devil and the woman, and from a heavenly environment in Eden to a new environment that was now beginning to exist, an exclusively evil environment, now a demonic environment, starting with Cain, and Abel was the first victim- Matthew 23:33-35 combined with John 8:44.
From then until today around 6000 years have passed, and the world of the Devil we are seeing turned to a gigantic and complex, and satanic structure in every sense as we can see, dominating the minds of the inhabitants of the Earth as a whole as he dominated he mind of Cain, very terrible, the ONLY exception are the chosen ones of GOD, they have believed in JESUS- John 17:1-12, and according to the Ephesians 1:3-8, among many biblical references.
But our Lord JESUS assured: Matthew 5:5- Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. This assertion of our Lord JESUS, combined with Revelation 11:15-18 and Revelation 12 as a whole, give us what will happen now, from now on, even now in the turn from the sixth to the seventh Day, seventh and last Day, the Lord's Day, or seventh and last millennium.
Scripture indicates that Jesus will suffer, as the scripture says...
"But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them." Matthew 17:12 KJV
...and believers will suffer also, Jesus is an example to the believer on how to endure suffering and stay in the will of God. God orchestras the test and trials for the believers good. Although suffering is part of making of a believer other believer shouldn't take it upon themselves to cause others to suffer...
"Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way." Romans 14:13 KJV
I did a search using the phrase seed of woman and am understanding that many scriptures seem to be implying that the seed of a woman is the conception itself, since the seed of a woman has the potential to grow into a child.
These are two of the scriptures I found:
"And Eli blessed Elkanah and his wife, and said, The LORD give thee seed of this woman for the loan which is lent to the LORD. And they went unto their own home." 1 Samuel 2:20 KJV
"Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman have conceived seed, and born a man child: then she shall be unclean seven days; according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean." Leviticus 12:2 KJV
There are some other scripture also that reference seed as just being of a man, however biologically a seed in futile soil will grow to its full potential given the right environment and a seed of a woman will develop into another human being (unborn child).
My comment on your post to the Giannis starts saying:Based in the Word of GOD(not mine), the Spirit of Truth speaks nothing from him himself- John 16:13,right? In my analyse,I saw Giannis was not receiving a true interpretation according the Spirit of Truth in Matthew 4:2 I quoted.
You said:"Scripture never says that Satan knew all about Jesus",it's you're saying.Scripture says he is full of wisdom,an anointed Cherub,GOD have set him so,he was upon the holy mountain of GOD walking in the midst of the STONES of fire, perfect from the day he was created, till iniquity was found in him-Ez.28.
THERE IS NO SECRET THAT THEY CAN HIDE FROM HIM-Ez.28:3,so he is the main Enemy of JESUS and believers in JESUS.
You said"Satan does not know what is in people's minds",but is this true?Satan did put in the mind of Eve-Gen.3:5-6-GOD doth know that eating fruit good and evil the eyes shall be opened, and shall be as gods(as angels)knowing good and evil. 6 When Eve saw that the tree(THE MESSAGE)was good for food, and it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree(A MESSAGE)to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit(believed)and gave(commented)also unto her husband (both talked about things Satan had said, both believed in him);and Adam did eat(believed in the Devil),both believed in the things Satan did put in their mind.
How can you fight against Satan and his messengers- Revelation 12:7-,if you know not well Satan, neither his messengers? This is very danger, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, and Powers, and the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Finally you"think that I spiritualize Scripture to fit my mind",who did put this in your mind?now, the Word is GOD,GOD Himself,GOD is Spirit- John 4:24 combined with John 6:63-64, mainly Matthew 10:20, understand?take a look.
The letter kills, the Spirit gives life, you should post to Giannis by the Spirit, not by the letter, the letter kills the souls.
Listen to what the Spirit says to the church. " Behold I stand at the door and knock ,if any man has ears to hear and opens the door ."
It is worth noting that after the resurrection No doir was a barrier locked or otherwise .but here the Lord is knocking on the door of the church . There are no denominations in heaven and wether you regard your church as the church to which all must be.ong or part of the church which is His body ,Christ being the head . There is but one church and thus one door . The knocking on the door therefore is a call to repentance to the whole church .The promise however is however to only those who have ears to hear and not only that but " open the door..". And while the church has it seems primarily made this a call to the unsaved it is unmistakably a call to the church .
What is it to repent of? Well even Isiah and Daniel in their intercessions felt the need to repent . It he church knows much about God . Gideon did . Moses did but there came a time when they came as it were face to face with God .Things did not begin to change for the better in Gidion time untill the lines of communication with God were fully or well established . Moses was at first terrified and dared not look but in the end talked with God as a man does face to face . Isiah when " in the year AThe king had died he saw the Lord " high and lifted up and his train filled the temple and the angels cried Holy Holy Hooy ." He said " woe is me for I am a man of unclean lips" and this was in chapter !
" By your traditions you have made the Word of Word of none effect " each denomination have their own traditions some worse than others perhaps but none the less each have their own particular doctrines sound enough in most cases but only in part .
A plethora of versions of the truth that boast much in their " better understanding" to justify them but prove to have very little or none at all being " yet carnal" but the result? "all we like sheep going our own way
It is not a matter of one's own will but rather a matter of who rules?
"The body is dead because of sin." It is still subject to sin and death but it has in Christ and by Him been redeemed .
It is written " Let not sin RULE in your mortal body " if sin rules you will obey and be a servant of it . Bwhioe the body is dead because of sin ,if the same Spirit that raised Christ Jesus from the dead dwell in you ,He shall quicken yiur mortal body" and in another place " if we walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit we will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh"
Thus if Christ rules you will obey Him for your will is to do His will for you are in free submission to the Lawfull and rightful king .
It is not a sin to be tempted but all temptations are from whatever direction they come from and from whatever points of the compass are designed to have a chiod of God walk after the flesh. Jesus was not tempted with every sin all men have ever been tempted with but was " tempted in all points" tye lust of the eye the lust of the flesh ,the pride of life and the lust of the mind .
And while in the beginning it was the devil whispering in his ear " if thou be the Son of God.." at the end it was men saying it at Calvary . For the devil only left Him "for a season.".
If we are true born children of God " sin shall have no more dominion over yiu" for we are no longer under the law of sin and death " but the law of Christ
Let Christ dwell in yiur hearts by faith and rule as rightful King and Saviour and sin loses its power and it's not yiu fighting lane and by your own will ( you will lose) but in submission to Christ " go and sin no more" .
I would to give my thoughts on "The temptation or testing/proving of Satan" and whether he knew Jesus was the Son of God or not in Luke 4:1-13.
First I would like to say I believe he knew Jesus was the Son of God.
I also believe he knew Jesus was coming to this world by way of the Prophet's and perhaps the first prophecy recorded given to him in Genesis 3:15. "And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and HER SEED; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
Immediately the line by which the seed would come was persecuted from there on.
The seed of the woman is biologically wrong and should raise eyebrows.
This is directly spoken to Eve but also depicts Israel.
Seed of the woman also depicts the father of this child would be God.
When we come to the prophets he can see a clear picture.
So why would Satan even try to test the Son of God?
There's two things here to consider.
1) We have to consider verse 1 if Luke 4. "And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and WAS LED BY THE SPIRIT INTO THE WILDERNESS,
This was orchestrated by the Spirit! Jesus was presented to be tested!
Not to see if he would fail it was to show he was who the Scripture say he was.
2) Satan used the same method he used on Eve knowing she was flesh.
He knew Jesus was the Son of God but he tried to see if there was a kink in his humanity.
John 8:31 - Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
Then said Jesus to those Jews who had believed on him, and the word "believed" is a Perfect Tense. They were in a condition of belief. If you continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and the word "indeed" in Greek is the word genuine. If you continue in my word, (remain in it, dwell in it), then you are my genuine disciples;

Overcoming fear, sickening and death Relying on God's Love
Insurance of God
I John 4:18 KJV
Isaiah 41:10 KJV
Psalms 27:1 KJV
Deuteronomy 3:22 KJV
Assurance of God
Romans 8:31-39 KJV
Keeping mind,mean,motivation of God
Mind- Ideas, capacity, wisdom, thinking, attitude,
Mean- method, opportunity, Howvto (know how), way, process ( techniques)
Motivation- Empowerment, Persitance, Strength, Passion, Inspiration.

Nothing else,
I realized I left out an important point.
We know "The seed of the woman" is Chris.
God bless.
I continue to lift up you and your family in my prayer times at night.
God's will for you will always be accomplished because He is sovereign and His will cannot be thwarted or nullified by anyone.
And He is eternally faithful to us. You are in His hands and no one can snatch you out of His hands. I will pray for you today.
He was trying to find out if Jesus truly was the Son of God, whether He was simply human, or
God knows your brother thoroughly and we can trust him to judge him rightly. May the Lord comfort you and your family during this time.
I will be praying for your job situation.
GOD BLESS
Get ready
I'm glad you are enjoying the studies. Blessings to you also and may the Lord continue to guide you in his ways!
God bless.
