Jesse thanks for the reply. I think that approach of "I'm right and your wrong" belongs to people who are not allowing the Holy Spirit to lead them. We have to be completely opened minded to the truth to be lead to the truth. The Word of God is the truth, and Heb.4:12 tells us it is Alive! Jesse do you believe Jesus will come for His church before the tribulation starts? Every person that I know who believes in the pre-tribulation rapture say that Mt.Ch.24 is to the Jews. I don't know if you believe that Jesse, but I think maybe most people who do believe that, believe that first because they are taught that, then they let that be a big part of why they see Mt.24 as being to the Jews. The reason for that may be because of v.29-31, where Jesus says 'Immediately after the tribulation" the Son of man comes in the clouds to gather together his elect. So they say that cant be Jesus coming for the church because its after the tribulation. I believe the elect are the children of Israel. In Isa.45:4 For Jacob my servants sake, and ((Israel mine elect)), I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me. The word Israel is #3478 in Hebrew, it means he will rule (as) God, a symbolic name of Jacob, also (typically) of his posterity) The word posterity means All future generations. So the 12 tribes, the children of Israel are Gods elect. The same children of Israel that are sealed in Rev.7:4-8, there are 12,000 sealed from each tribe. I agree with you about not wanting to argue Jesse, but we all need to find the truth in scripture and let scripture be our final authority. Thanks brother Jesse for your thorough explanation. I too, saw the 'Spirit' as Pneumatos, and the second mention of the Spirit, as Pneuma, which rather intrigued me. If the Greek is then consistent in the word's meaning, then the difference in wording must have been applied at the translation level. Given that this work was done in the 17th Century, there may have been certain applications of those words that meant something special to the translators or the Church, or for some special emphasis. I guess we might never know. Thanks for the trouble in reviewing this verse for us.
You are correct; most if not all of the Psalms are prophecies of Christ; AND, all the words of Psalms are the words of the spirit of Christ; AND, Christ has the spirit of his Father ( 2 Samuel 23:1-2)( Isaiah 59:21).

After reading your comment my spirit is driven to ponder some other verses by Jahshua.... "all of The law is Love and forgiveness."
This all makes me realize that the commandments are basically redundant.
Example: If we love someone, even our enemies; then we would not kill them, we would not kill them, we would not steal from them, we would not commit adultery against them and Jah (Jah considers serving other gods as adultery against him), we wouldn't cheat, defraud, lie, or hurt anyone in any way if we loved them.
Love, mercy and forgiveness. Now after considering these things... I understand the truth of what Jahshua said when he gave two new commandments: to love Jah with all of our being and to love our neighbor as ourselves.... UPON THIS HINGES ALL OF THE LAW.
Obedience to love will save us. Jah is Love. If someone does what is opposite (anti) of what is the will of God (God's will is his Word/Jahshua/Messiah/Christ or AbtiChrist. And that would be sin/transgression.
SometThinking to ponder... Thinking back your post of the Messiah's instructions to the man inquiring about Salvation; Jahshua listed only six of the Ten Commandments. He left out the Sabbath worship, idol making and coveting our neighbor's things.

The main thing is you must read the Bible for yourself because ultimately you are responsible for your own salvation. Trusting what I say or what this person says is not the way to work out your own salvation.
My brother, I do find it interesting that John 7:39 uses both spirit and ghost in the same verse. Whether these were John's exact words, or for some unknown reason the translators decided to put it in there that way, I do not know.
I can tell you that in the Greek text, the first word Spirit in John 7:39 is PNEUMATOS, and the second word Ghost is PNEUMA. Both Greek words translate to Spirit in English, so Holy Spirit would have been correct.
There is a different word used for Ghost in the Greek. That word is PHANTASMA and is where we get our English word phantom from.
There are 90 places in the King James NT where Holy Ghost is mentioned. However, if you look these verses up in the Greek text (Textus Receptus), every place that the KJV uses Holy Ghost, the Textus Receptus says Holy Spirit (HAGION PNEUMA). Why the translators decide to use Holy Ghost instead is something I am not sure of.
I also find it interesting that there are places in the KJV where the word spirit is used, but the Greek text uses the word ghost.
Matthew 14:26 is one place. When the disciples saw Jesus walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a (spirit); and they cried out for fear.
The word spirit in this verse is PHANTASMA for ghost. They thought He was a ghost. It is not the word for spirit (PNEUMA). It is the word for ghost.
So every place in the KJV New Testament where it says Holy Ghost, it can be correctly translated Holy Spirit.
I emphasize the KJV because if I'm not mistaken, most other English versions say Holy Spirit, not Holy Ghost, which would be considered correct according to the Greek.
I think that whether we choose to say Holy Spirit, or Holy Ghost, we are speaking of the same Spirit of God, the third person of the triune God.
We have lost a Sunday school teacher in our church to tragic accident. Remember that there is no death unto those who believe that Jesus is and has conquer death! So, what does it mean to be given the Holy Ghost? Is this something outside the scriptures that we cannot see.?
If God gives it to us how do we receive it, only by asking? Is it possible for us to have the mind of Christ given unto us, if so ,it must come from God! We cannot earn it. We can memorize all scripture, but may not have the slightest unction of what the Holy Ghost is! This is how important prayer is, only by asking will we receive! When this happens all the words of scripture will begin to come in ways we never knew! Prayer is so absolute in what it does!

Is the above scripture for believers or not believers? Verse 29, "HE WAS SANCTIFIED". so it is for believers. The text says that if one who was once saved sins willfully (the greek text here implies a continuous action, not just do a sin/s, but live in sins, live a sinful life) then damnation is the result. People who were once saved when they go back to their previous sinful life and enjoy sinning without feeling any guilt, is like they step on Jesus, like they consider His sacrifice as nothing really, like they stand with pride against the H.S. and His work of sanctification. For these people there is no other sacrifice left to call on. It doesn't say that there is no salvation for them but it says no other sacrifice (since they don't value and ask for Jesus' Blood there isn't any other sacrifice left for them to ask for) So if they never awake from their spiritual sleep and go back (like the prodigal son did) then the Hell is the end of the road for them.
In the following verse 32-34, Paul encourages believers to keep going their way no matter the tribulations they suffer due to their faith to Jesus, because they must complete their road, if not, salvation will not be granted to them. And now we come to verse 39, "But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul"
So the proper interpretation of it, according to my belief is, "But we are not of those who go back to their previous sinful lives and get destruction at the end, but of those who keep on their faith and at the end get the promise of salvation"

Have you noticed that the majority if not all of the ancient names of the Israelites are phrases of praise unto Jah.
His name was Jo at first... Jshua, Jel (Jo-el.. Jo-(is)-god(elohim)), Jnathan, Jb, Jnah, etc...
J morphed into Jah and Jah (Jahshua) morphed into Jeh (Jehshua) as each generation changes the language. This was due to the captivity of Israel by Babylon and other Heathen peoples. The generation of today does also. Words don't mean the same thing as they used to mean. You really look hot does not mean: that you look like your temperature has greatly risen to bring forth sweating.
The Israelites had to learn other languages of their captors. This in time changes their own language to incorporate the new language into their own.
As the good news of the Messiah (the gospel) spread quickly to other nations written in a language foreign to Israel, the name of the Messiah was changed to be more acceptable to them. The surviving testimonies of the good news named Jehshua as Isous, which later morphed into Jesus. Neither of the foreign names praised J, Jah, Jeh.
The name of Jehshua, Jahshua, Jshua was a praise to the God of Israel, but the new foreign names did not praise the most high God, J/Jah/Jeh.
John was informed by the revelation (the revealing by Jahshua to him) of the works of the deceiver he warned the disciples would come... already his name had been made void...I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and HAST NOT DENIED MY NAME.
Perfect Understanding will reveal to you that the King of Israel would NOT HAVE a foreign, Heathen name. It would be an Israelite name praisng the God of Israel.
Who will think that it doesn't matter at all to God/Jah and the Messiah what the people call him. Commandment was made to keep the people from calling him something else to make his name Useless (in vain)
(Part 2): If I may comment on a couple things you said, first about Matthew 24:29-31. You say that "Many people think that's the same event as Jesus' return riding a white horse, they say the elect are the Jews," and "It is not the same event, and these elect that are gathered together are not the Jews. They are the bride of Christ, the church."
If you are saying that the rapture of the church and Christ's second coming are two separate events, then I agree with you on that. As far as the word "elect," this is a special word brought over from the Old Testament as a title for the Jewish people. They are His elect people. I agree that the church is the bride of Christ, but we are not the elect. The elect are the Jews. That's what they were called in the Old Testament and that's what they always will be, God's elect. I find no scripture reference in the New Testament that shows where the meaning of the word elect has been changed to mean someone other than the Jews?
You also said that "The Jews don't believe Jesus is the Son of God." That is not completely true. Many did not believe, but there are many who did. Almost all of the 12 original apostles were Jews. I'm sure they believed who Jesus was. Matthew also was a Jew. Peter himself, being a Jew, he confessed that Jesus was the Christ, the Son of the living God.

I have discovered that many of the Psalms are prophesies about the messiah if not all of them.
Notice 40:7 then said I Lo I come in volume of the book "Written of me"... now remember when Jahshua was teaching in the synagogue and closed the Torah after reading these words. The people were astonished because he did not finish the entire Psalm's scripture content. Then he said... this day has this scripture been fulfilled. The people rose up to stone him because they understood that this scripture was about the Messiah prophesied to come, that Jahshua was saying that he fulfilled on that day before the congregation. (I have preached righteousness in the great congregation...)
The iniquities he has, the Messiah is admitting the imperfect feelings he has because he is a man. (iniquity and not sin) They have taken hold of him as these feelings would do with any man automatically, in an instant, (MY heart faileth me) but that doesn't mean that they remain with him and he asks Jah for help with this and help to hurry up and end his suffering (40:17... make no tarrying, O' MY GOD) JAH is his God.
Jahshua knows what is written by the prophet Isaiah if him. He knows it will please Jah to deliver him from this cruelty of crucifixion by men.
If you think of the Messiah speaking in this Psalm it will all make sense to you.

Yes, I agree that none of us have all the answers. We can take one piece of scripture, present it to several different believers, and I think it would be safe to say that not all are going to come up with the same conclusion as to what that piece of scripture is saying. But what do we do? If I disagree with you and you disagree with me, what do we do? My personal thoughts are that if I disagree on something, I have a choice. I can either choose to take what someone is telling me, and then search the scripture to see why I have a disagreement, or I can just take the approach of "I'm right and you're wrong," and move on. That approach is not the right one to take, but yet it happens.
Now, I would like to address a few things in your latest post. I see you have at least one question for me, and I will give you an answer, but first let me say this: When I say that Matthew wrote his gospel to the Jews (Hebrew people), I am not saying that we cannot read and learn from the things contained in his gospel. I believe all scripture is profitable for us to read and learn from.
I know you don't believe Matthew was written to the Jews, but I do believe he wrote his letter to the Jewish/Hebrew people in order to present Jesus as the coming Savior/Messiah. I say Savior/Messiah because the Jews were not just expecting the Messiah, but they were expecting the Messiah to come as a Savior. When I go through Matthew Chapter 24, and I look at Jesus' words, it seems very clear to me that He is speaking to Jews.
Now, to answer your question. Your question to me is "Do you believe great tribulation will be just for the Jews?" No, I do not believe that. The last 3-1/2 years of the 7-year tribulation period, known as the "Great Tribulation," will be a time when God pours out His wrath on all people who have rejected Christ, both Jew and Gentile alike.
GiGi You said you think its a good thing to have all these translations, as translators learn more and more about the languages biblical manuscripts were written in because it causes the translators to become more accurate. You said God is at work in such work as bringing forth a translation and in bringing about revisions. This is so wrong GiGi! God is not the author of confusion. GiGi look these verses up in your Niv Bible and then tell me God was in control of those translations of that Niv. Mt.17:21, 18:11, 23:14. Mk.7:16, 9:44,46, 11:26, and this next one is so wrong in many ways. Mk.15:28 And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, And he was numbered with the transgressors. (A verse proving a scripture was fulfilled and the Niv removed it! WOW)! Continuing verses> Lu.17:36, 23:17. Jn.5:4. Acts.8:37, 15:34, 24:7, 28:29. Rom.16:24. Heres another good one. The word Lucifer is in the Bible 1 time in Isa.14:12 (KJB) How art thou fallen from heaven O Lucifer, son of the morning! Now the (Niv) How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star son of the dawn! The pure Word of God is settled in heaven. Ps.119:89 For ever O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven. Ps.119:160 Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever. (Thy word is in Palms,CH.119 (39 TIMES!) Isa.40:8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever. Mt.24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. I have a really hard time believing that True Believers in Jesus Christ doubt He would, or could preserve His WORDS like He told in Ps.12:5-6. Jn.14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, ((HE WILL KEEP MY WORDS:)) and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. In Hebrew the Angels are defined as: "mighty ones": in scripture Jah is the mighty of David. & etc...
These gods/angels/mighty have become Apostate/Rouge against Jah.
Unlike the faithful Angels/mighty ones, they became worshiped by the people called Heathens/Pagans/Gentiles.
We are also clued in that these are Angels by a verse later on that these eternal beings shall die the same as man, who lost his eternal life by the eating of the forbidden fruit in his garden of Paradise on Earth, to the"East of" Eden.
They are worshiped by men and have another WAY/Religion which pleases their god/Angel. Their doctrines are in error of the WAY of Jah.
In his judgment of them, Jah presents evidence of his WAY, THAT IS NOT part of their judgment & doctrines of their way;
To defend the poor and fatherless.
Do justice to the afflicted and needy.
(To) rid out of the hand of the wicked.
They walk in darkness because their way is in error causing the entire society(world) of the Earth's foundation of the way of Jah to go a different direction than Jah intended for mankind, that will cause Jah to judge the Earth.
Jah is speaking to the Angels, their father Jah created them, they are his children
The question then becomes if the word can be changed into what man thinks it should mean, then is the spirit that is within it stay alive?
Is the Spirit active in the cense that it moves, or is it stagnant and only a memory a way of thinking, and not living? If it doesn't move, then it is no longer a genuine Spirit ! Right? The question thus becomes what is a true Spirit?

The first revised standard version came out in the sixties, and there are probably 30 or more now today! Has this worked, has this made the world a better place ? Being led by the Spirit has become controversial within the church. For whatever reason they continue to change language . Without any consideration to the third person in the trinity.

If I may add to Chris' reply, the first day of the week (Sunday) is the day Jesus was resurrected. Jesus came to fulfill the law and the prophets, and the feasts were a part of the Mosaic Law. The Jewish festival that was the same day Jesus was resurrected that many overlooks with traditions is the Feast of First Fruits, Leviticus 23:9-14.
We see in John; Mary Magdalene went to the tomb, and it was still dark, and she was the first to see Jesus. He would not let her touch Him, the reason was, He had not ascended to His Father, John 20:17. Jesus ascended at the same time the priest was waving the sheaf, (lifting up). After He returned, they could then touch Him, Matthew 28:8-10.
As the sheaf of the first harvest had to be sacrificed and accepted by God before they could eat of the harvest and look forward to the next harvest as that day was the first day of counting the days of the weeks until seven sabbaths to the second harvest, the Feast of Weeks, Pentecost. Jesus ascended and was accepted as the First Fruits of the dead and returned, then they could touch Him.
We see the second harvest Pentecost, also was the same day of year the fire of God came down upon the mount with Moses, and the day the Holy Spirit that Jesus said He would ask the Father to send, came down on the room where they were gathered as cloven tongues as of fire.

Hi Michael, the Bible doesn't say we will never be sick or have hardship or suffering. It guarantees we will have them, and says we will even be persecuted for our faith. I think anyone pushing a health and wealth doctrine is pushing a lie.

It does say if you pray with faith you will basically get what you ask. I think this means you have genuine and pure faith, not praying for selfish things like a new ferrari. That is my opinion.

Know that all that you have, is what God has given, based on his complete understanding and wisdom, of who you are and mankind as a whole, what he does is always good, always true, always faithful and right.

You are correct; most if not all of the Psalms are prophecies of Christ; AND, all the words of Psalms are the words of the spirit of Christ; AND, Christ has the spirit of his Father ( 2 Samuel 23:1-2)( Isaiah 59:21).

After reading your comment my spirit is driven to ponder some other verses by Jahshua.... "all of The law is Love and forgiveness."
This all makes me realize that the commandments are basically redundant.
Example: If we love someone, even our enemies; then we would not kill them, we would not kill them, we would not steal from them, we would not commit adultery against them and Jah (Jah considers serving other gods as adultery against him), we wouldn't cheat, defraud, lie, or hurt anyone in any way if we loved them.
Love, mercy and forgiveness. Now after considering these things... I understand the truth of what Jahshua said when he gave two new commandments: to love Jah with all of our being and to love our neighbor as ourselves.... UPON THIS HINGES ALL OF THE LAW.
Obedience to love will save us. Jah is Love. If someone does what is opposite (anti) of what is the will of God (God's will is his Word/Jahshua/Messiah/Christ or AbtiChrist. And that would be sin/transgression.
SometThinking to ponder... Thinking back your post of the Messiah's instructions to the man inquiring about Salvation; Jahshua listed only six of the Ten Commandments. He left out the Sabbath worship, idol making and coveting our neighbor's things.
Why did he leave them out? Especially the keeping of the Sabbath!

There is a ton of more verses that could be attached that continue to back up truth.
The main thing is you must read the Bible for yourself because ultimately you are responsible for your own salvation. Trusting what I say or what this person says is not the way to work out your own salvation.
My brother, I do find it interesting that John 7:39 uses both spirit and ghost in the same verse. Whether these were John's exact words, or for some unknown reason the translators decided to put it in there that way, I do not know.
I can tell you that in the Greek text, the first word Spirit in John 7:39 is PNEUMATOS, and the second word Ghost is PNEUMA. Both Greek words translate to Spirit in English, so Holy Spirit would have been correct.
There is a different word used for Ghost in the Greek. That word is PHANTASMA and is where we get our English word phantom from.
There are 90 places in the King James NT where Holy Ghost is mentioned. However, if you look these verses up in the Greek text (Textus Receptus), every place that the KJV uses Holy Ghost, the Textus Receptus says Holy Spirit (HAGION PNEUMA). Why the translators decide to use Holy Ghost instead is something I am not sure of.
I also find it interesting that there are places in the KJV where the word spirit is used, but the Greek text uses the word ghost.
Matthew 14:26 is one place. When the disciples saw Jesus walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a (spirit); and they cried out for fear.
The word spirit in this verse is PHANTASMA for ghost. They thought He was a ghost. It is not the word for spirit (PNEUMA). It is the word for ghost.
So every place in the KJV New Testament where it says Holy Ghost, it can be correctly translated Holy Spirit.
I emphasize the KJV because if I'm not mistaken, most other English versions say Holy Spirit, not Holy Ghost, which would be considered correct according to the Greek.
I think that whether we choose to say Holy Spirit, or Holy Ghost, we are speaking of the same Spirit of God, the third person of the triune God.
We have lost a Sunday school teacher in our church to tragic accident. Remember that there is no death unto those who believe that Jesus is and has conquer death! These are hard things to believe while we live in this world, we must grow through them, we will become stronger in our faith. Do not allow appearance of loss , to darken what will become ours. So, what does it mean to be given the Holy Ghost? Is this something outside the scriptures that we cannot see.?
If God gives it to us how do we receive it, only by asking? Is it possible for us to have the mind of Christ given unto us, if so ,it must come from God! We cannot earn it. We can memorize all scripture, but may not have the slightest unction of what the Holy Ghost is! This is how important prayer is, only by asking will we receive! When this happens all the words of scripture will begin to come in ways we never knew! Prayer is so absolute in what it does!

Is the above scripture for believers or not believers? Verse 29, "HE WAS SANCTIFIED". so it is for believers. The text says that if one who was once saved sins willfully (the greek text here implies a continuous action, not just do a sin/s, but live in sins, live a sinful life) then damnation is the result. People who were once saved when they go back to their previous sinful life and enjoy sinning without feeling any guilt, is like they step on Jesus, like they consider His sacrifice as nothing really, like they stand with pride against the H.S. and His work of sanctification. For these people there is no other sacrifice left to call on. It doesn't say that there is no salvation for them but it says no other sacrifice (since they don't value and ask for Jesus' Blood there isn't any other sacrifice left for them to ask for) So if they never awake from their spiritual sleep and go back (like the prodigal son did) then the Hell is the end of the road for them.
In the following verse 32-34, Paul encourages believers to keep going their way no matter the tribulations they suffer due to their faith to Jesus, because they must complete their road, if not, salvation will not be granted to them. And now we come to verse 39, "But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul"
So the proper interpretation of it, according to my belief is, "But we are not of those who go back to their previous sinful lives and get destruction at the end, but of those who keep on their faith and at the end get the promise of salvation"

J morphed into Jah and Jah (Jahshua) morphed into Jeh (Jehshua) as each generation changes the language. This was due to the captivity of Israel by Babylon and other Heathen peoples. The generation of today does also. Words don't mean the same thing as they used to mean. You really look hot does not mean: that you look like your temperature has greatly risen to bring forth sweating.
The Israelites had to learn other languages of their captors. This in time changes their own language to incorporate the new language into their own.
As the good news of the Messiah (the gospel) spread quickly to other nations written in a language foreign to Israel, the name of the Messiah was changed to be more acceptable to them. The surviving testimonies of the good news named Jehshua as Isous, which later morphed into Jesus. Neither of the foreign names praised J, Jah, Jeh.
The name of Jehshua, Jahshua, Jshua was a praise to the God of Israel, but the new foreign names did not praise the most high God, J/Jah/Jeh.
John was informed by the revelation (the revealing by Jahshua to him) of the works of the deceiver he warned the disciples would come... already his name had been made void...I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and HAST NOT DENIED MY NAME.
Perfect Understanding will reveal to you that the King of Israel would NOT HAVE a foreign, Heathen name. It would be an Israelite name praisng the God of Israel.

(Part 2): If I may comment on a couple things you said, first about Matthew 24:29-31. You say that "Many people think that's the same event as Jesus' return riding a white horse, they say the elect are the Jews," and "It is not the same event, and these elect that are gathered together are not the Jews. If you are saying that the rapture of the church and Christ's second coming are two separate events, then I agree with you on that. As far as the word "elect," this is a special word brought over from the Old Testament as a title for the Jewish people. They are His elect people. I agree that the church is the bride of Christ, but we are not the elect. The elect are the Jews. That's what they were called in the Old Testament and that's what they always will be, God's elect. I find no scripture reference in the New Testament that shows where the meaning of the word elect has been changed to mean someone other than the Jews?
You also said that "The Jews don't believe Jesus is the Son of God." That is not completely true. Many did not believe, but there are many who did. Almost all of the 12 original apostles were Jews. I'm sure they believed who Jesus was. Matthew also was a Jew. Peter himself, being a Jew, he confessed that Jesus was the Christ, the Son of the living God.
Please know that I am in no way wanting to argue with you. I am simply sharing with you what I understand from my study of scripture. Notice 40:7 then said I Lo I come in volume of the book "Written of me"... now remember when Jahshua was teaching in the synagogue and closed the Torah after reading these words. The people were astonished because he did not finish the entire Psalm's scripture content. Then he said... this day has this scripture been fulfilled. The people rose up to stone him because they understood that this scripture was about the Messiah prophesied to come, that Jahshua was saying that he fulfilled on that day before the congregation. (I have preached righteousness in the great congregation...)
The iniquities he has, the Messiah is admitting the imperfect feelings he has because he is a man. (iniquity and not sin) They have taken hold of him as these feelings would do with any man automatically, in an instant, (MY heart faileth me) but that doesn't mean that they remain with him and he asks Jah for help with this and help to hurry up and end his suffering (40:17... make no tarrying, O' MY GOD) JAH is his God.
Jahshua knows what is written by the prophet Isaiah if him. He knows it will please Jah to deliver him from this cruelty of crucifixion by men.
If you think of the Messiah speaking in this Psalm it will all make sense to you.

Yes, I agree that none of us have all the answers. We can take one piece of scripture, present it to several different believers, and I think it would be safe to say that not all are going to come up with the same conclusion as to what that piece of scripture is saying. But what do we do? If I disagree with you and you disagree with me, what do we do? My personal thoughts are that if I disagree on something, I have a choice. I can either choose to take what someone is telling me, and then search the scripture to see why I have a disagreement, or I can just take the approach of "I'm right and you're wrong," and move on. That approach is not the right one to take, but yet it happens.
Now, I would like to address a few things in your latest post. I see you have at least one question for me, and I will give you an answer, but first let me say this: When I say that Matthew wrote his gospel to the Jews (Hebrew people), I am not saying that we cannot read and learn from the things contained in his gospel. I believe all scripture is profitable for us to read and learn from.
I know you don't believe Matthew was written to the Jews, but I do believe he wrote his letter to the Jewish/Hebrew people in order to present Jesus as the coming Savior/Messiah. I say Savior/Messiah because the Jews were not just expecting the Messiah, but they were expecting the Messiah to come as a Savior. When I go through Matthew Chapter 24, and I look at Jesus' words, it seems very clear to me that He is speaking to Jews.
Now, to answer your question. Your question to me is "Do you believe great tribulation will be just for the Jews?" No, I do not believe that. The last 3-1/2 years of the 7-year tribulation period, known as the "Great Tribulation," will be a time when God pours out His wrath on all people who have rejected Christ, both Jew and Gentile alike.

Context with meditation is the key In this Psalm for knowledge.
God/Jah is there with the Angels and he is judging them.
In Hebrew the Angels are defined as: "mighty ones": in scripture Jah is the mighty of David. & etc...
These gods/angels/mighty have become Apostate/Rouge against Jah.
Unlike the faithful Angels/mighty ones, they became worshiped by the people called Heathens/Pagans/Gentiles.
We are also clued in that these are Angels by a verse later on that these eternal beings shall die the same as man, who lost his eternal life by the eating of the forbidden fruit in his garden of Paradise on Earth, to the"East of" Eden.
They are worshiped by men and have another WAY/Religion which pleases their god/Angel. Their doctrines are in error of the WAY of Jah.
In his judgment of them, Jah presents evidence of his WAY, THAT IS NOT part of their judgment & doctrines of their way;

Is the Spirit active in the cense that it moves, or is it stagnant and only a memory a way of thinking, and not living? If it doesn't move, then it is no longer a genuine Spirit ! Right? The question thus becomes what is a true Spirit?
What makes us yearn for righteousness! What makes us thirsty and hungry for righteousness. Will mans word give us more light into the things of God? Can we experience growing in grace?
The first revised standard version came out in the sixties, and there are probably 30 or more now today! Has this worked, has this made the world a better place ? Everyone it seems has there own interpretation, of which the bible says there is no private interpretation. What then do you believe? Soon , they will remove ant evidence of Christ at all! If I may add to Chris' reply, the first day of the week (Sunday) is the day Jesus was resurrected. Jesus came to fulfill the law and the prophets, and the feasts were a part of the Mosaic Law. The Jewish festival that was the same day Jesus was resurrected that many overlooks with traditions is the Feast of First Fruits, Leviticus 23:9-14.
We see in John; Mary Magdalene went to the tomb, and it was still dark, and she was the first to see Jesus. He would not let her touch Him, the reason was, He had not ascended to His Father, John 20:17. Jesus ascended at the same time the priest was waving the sheaf, (lifting up). After He returned, they could then touch Him, Matthew 28:8-10.
As the sheaf of the first harvest had to be sacrificed and accepted by God before they could eat of the harvest and look forward to the next harvest as that day was the first day of counting the days of the weeks until seven sabbaths to the second harvest, the Feast of Weeks, Pentecost. Jesus ascended and was accepted as the First Fruits of the dead and returned, then they could touch Him.
We see the second harvest Pentecost, also was the same day of year the fire of God came down upon the mount with Moses, and the day the Holy Spirit that Jesus said He would ask the Father to send, came down on the room where they were gathered as cloven tongues as of fire.
