Humanism; as a religion therefore perfectly morphs into whatever theology you wish to uphold. Thus; we see the teachings of Ghandi; New Age Gurus; and even mystical Islam as catalysts for change; whether feeding the poor; healing ailments or some euphoric esoteric wisdom.
It is no secret how the New Age has infiltrated our society; starting with the Beatles and later Yoga being promulgated in the 70's. What has changed is the widespread practices within the churches today. This and any other faith based system of polytheism of course invokes demons; and therefore the concept of Christ in those circles is an imaginary one.
God is clear that He alone is to be worshipped in the beginning of the 10 commandments. This is just as clear as His law regarding sexual morality; murder and other issues. Hence; we are essentially making God in our image when we support murder of the unborn; not to mention ascribing to the tenets of racial superiority by the founder of Planned Parenthood.
The touchy subject here; however is those who make the issue of pride to supersede honoring God. Hence; we have a worship of political candidates; whatever side of the aisle they are on; and particularly those who seem to espouse Christian values but don't live out what they preach. This admittedly can be a tricky balance; but we should hold those accountable who make promises and personally I think if we can't support someone and have to choose between the lesser of two evils we should stay out of the vote entirely. There is individual latitude as to how hard we should fight to maintain our rights that we are given in the Constitution; for instance balancing the fact that the world at large will continue to decay until the Tribulation and consummation of the end of the Age and Christ's return. The world is on course to final judgment; we need to focus attention on the Great Commission; everything else is secondary.
With all the earlier postings focusing on how those who focus in the presence of the true God and the many errors therein; I will now focus on the imaginary Christ.
As we look to the past generation going back to the 1960's we see how humanism was central in the spirit of the age; as it were affecting the masses in America in particular but also spreading to other nations. The concept of enlightenment in the late 19th Century as well as that of evolution worked it's poison for much of the first half of the 20th Century in the background. Rebellion began to show in the "roaring 20's" with the over the top methods of entertainment; and later after World War Two we saw a steady increase in divorce and remarriage; and in the 50's and beyond we saw rock and roll starting to sway the minds and souls of youth driving them to hysteria.
The very real issue of racism and inequality was a subject which inserted Martin Luther King, Jr. and others into the concept of peaceful protest. Scripture was used to promote these agendas which would morph by the end of that decade to violent protests; and lead into the "sexual revolution" in the 70s. The concept of humanism is centered on the "goodness of man" which of course is the antithesis of scripture as to the condition of unregenerate men. This does not mean that the concept of the dignity of a human being and the sanctity of all life isn't important; or that racial issues were addressed that were out of line with God's will when it came to Jim Crow laws; for instance. What we ultimately see today is the fruit of that era; where all deviant lifestyles are accepted and anarchy is something we are supposed to celebrate and all those in authority are held in contempt. In general; it shows how the church can be used as a vehicle for change; but social change must never be the primary purpose for the church. Any lasting change comes from those who live and pray in the fear of God.
I have spent some time in dissertation on the true Christ and man's attempt to immerse himself in Christian circles (or "churchianity") by attempting to fit in; ingratiating himself into a social network; and or live out some moralistic lifestyle that they think makes them accepted by God. As long as we are in the church age the Laodicean church exists; and we aren't quite in the final world religion "Mystery Babylon". Thus; there are still a few who still believe even in some of the worst churches; and those who are in the Philadelphian type church hold on albeit with "little strength" ( Rev. 3:8; either signifying few in numbers or little left in energy to exist in the hostile last days type world with many falling away).
Another problem which in various manifestations affects many denominations today is erring in not taking scriptures LITERALLY.
There are a few verses such as Isaiah 60:16 that are clearly not literal. The issue quite often is trying to fit the whole Bible into a particular framework so as not to violate a doctrine that we uphold. This can be related to eschatology with those who want to insert the church into every promise and covenant made with Israel and supposedly invalid today; or with those who in liberal churches want to assimilate into the lifestyles that are popular to suit their worldly passions.
The Word of God is not something we can cherry pick to select what we want to hear; God is a God of love but also wrath. These practices basically attempt to put God in a box; or make Him more palatable. It seems we want God to be like our cable TV or other entertainment where we control the narrative and choose the storyline. Galatians 6:7 shows clearly that we reap what we sow and cannot mock God. Things that are unclear in their final fulfillment will be seen to be literally fulfilled. Perhaps some prophecy can be tabled; as to lifestyles; once in judgment it is too late a lesson learned.
Verses on repentance are rife in the scriptures. Taking a proactive approach after a confession of faith toward living a life of holiness separates the real from the pretenders; whether in our own lives or confronting the sin of others.
Such a matter as suing one another ( 1 Corinthians 6) illustrates how making proper judgments within the Body of Christ is to occur; so that Matthew 7:1 is taken into proper context. Naturally; we are to straighten out our walk to avoid hypocrisy and to see clearly; as Jesus indicated to take the speck out of a brother's eye. Psalm 139:24 indicates a prayer to see any "offensive way" in us. As my earlier post indicates; we can seek to conform our outer behaviors so that we don't cuss; drink; smoke or dance for example but we can still foster pride or greed or something else. This is the methodology which fails when trying to reform people without the Lord transforming the heart; merely substituting one sin for another. Or; as some have said we need a new "wanter". None of these actions to curtail behaviors will make us love God any more without Him ruling and reigning in our lives.
This desire not to shake the apple cart as it were stops many from confronting sins of others; which is a necessary tool to bring forth repentance when evangelizing as well as confronting things within the church. The sin NATURE; of course is the focus which needs to be stressed on the streets but we also see individuals with sinful lifestyles that must be repented of. That principle is for nonbelievers and those who confess Christ as well in light of 1 John 3:8-10. 1 Timothy 5:20 shows how indeed these confrontations are necessary in the church; and a responsibility of those in authority; such as Timothy was after Paul instructed him and trained him. 1 Timothy 5:24 shows how certain sins are more obvious than others; but all will be judged.
-Therefore, Jesus Christ the son of God could not be born to the Hindus for they worship Idols neither to the Romans and the greeks even unto the Africans and the Australian aboriginals or any other tribe or nation of the world for all had a form of Ido worshiping including the Brittanica tribes
For there is one God who is living and there is none like Him from the heavens and to the earth as it is written in
Deuteronomy 32:39
See now that I, even I, am He, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: Neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.
-God created from Abraham a new nation and guided them with the law and setting them apart and district from all the tribes of the world and from Abraham's children we have the 12 son of Jacob who later multiply and becomes a Great nation and still unique and not integrating with the rest of the world and even after their exile in 70Ad by the romans. who changed their lands name from isreal to Palestine they still remained a unique nation. While they were scattered across the world and Europe and by the fulfilment of God's word written in the Book of Jeremiah the prophet, the nation of Israel was reborn back into exitance in 1948.
-Therefore, Jesus Christ the son of the living God was born form the Jews and died on the cross in Israel and rose and acceded in Heaven still a Jew and He is the Lion of the tribe of Judah and forevermore Amen salvation is from the Jews. anyone who is not a Jew is called a Gentile.
it is written in John 4:22
22.Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
I pray that God will touch your heart for understand Amen
it is written in Acts 2:38
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost
-So God called Abraham and when he listened and Obeyed the voice of God then God promised Him to make him a great nation. A people for Himself and thus the beginning of the nation of isreal.
as it is written in Geniss 12:1-3
1Now the Lord had said to Abram:" Get out of your country, From your family And from your father's house to a land that I will show you.
2 I will make you a great nation;I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing.
3 I will bless those who bless you,And I will curse him who curses you;And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed."
-It is important to note that In-oder that Jesus Christ the Son of the living God to came into the world He would need to be pure form sins and not a worshiper of idols like the nations that ware in those err of Abraham and an Example Egypt. For Jesus Christ is God and when He was born, He had to obey his parent and if He was disobedient to his parents then we would not be free from sins hence the sacrifice Offred at the cross would be invalid for attornment of sin. Remember it is written in.
2 Corinthians 5:21
21.For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
after the fall of Adam the father and eve the mother of all human beings which happened at the Garden of Eden in the beginning. Sin entered into the world and separated us from our God who made the heavens and the earth.
it is written in Romans 5;12 -14
12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: 13 (for until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. 14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
-So, this sin that entered separated us from God who is Holy as it is written in the book of Isaiah 59:2
It's your sins that have cut you off from God. Because of your sins, he has turned away and will not listen anymore.
Now man was created to fellowship with God but due to the sins committed at the garden of Eden which cause separation there was nothing that man could do to get Righthouse with God. But the mercy of God is great and endures forever.
as it is written in Psalm 107:1
1.Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.
and in John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved
5. as it has been mentioned earlier by brother S.Spencer (but the battle isn't over as long as we're in the world.) and Satan knows that his time is at hand thus taking any opportunity to make sure those who don't know GOd are still in their ignorant state and those who serve God are not effective in their service. This is sad realty, but we are witnessing all this with our naked eyes.
In conclusion we are caught up in battle that is not earthly but universal and the fall of Satan that occurred in the heavenly's will one day reach it climax and today we are witnessing the intensification of it but bear in mind that our victory Cames from the Lord who is our shield and salvation and at the cross we overcame him by the blood of the LAMB and our testimonies which we have fought we are fighting individually and we are committed thus we don't love things of this world for we know all this will came to an end but eternal life is in Jesus Christ the son of the living God and found at the cross by repentance for He is the way the truth and Life.
Therefore, what should we do then? we need to stand strong; we need to be still and know that He is God and put on the whole armor of God and if God is on our side who can be against us.
it is written in James 4;7-8
Therefore, submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
it is written in Acts 2:38
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost
3. The word of God the Bible is either it has happened, or it is happening, and it is for us set as an example for how we should live before the Lord our God. it is also very current and accurate. See Malach 3:16 and Jude 1:7. thus
it is written in Hebrews 4:12
12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
and in 2 timothy 3:16
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work
-And There are prophecy which will come to be fulfilled like the coming of the ant-Christ but remember there are many anti-Christ today.
as it is written in 1 John 2:18
Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour
4. anyone who turns away from sins makes himself a prey it is written in.
Isaiah 59:15
Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the Lord saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment.
-So the devil does not care for anyone who calls himself Christian but is not committed. But if anyone is committed and obeys Gods word and does all is written in the bible then Satan shifts all his attentions to them and hence the wiles of the devil. Therefore, put all the Armour of God not one but all. as it is written in Ephesians 6:11
11Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
I pray that God the great God will help us to understand this question and many more that we require an swears to Amen.
it is written in proverbs 4;7
Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.
Remember Satan that old serpent, he is still at large and has blinded the world with his doctrines and this can be seen in many religions. As well as the churches that have given in to the culture and government which has forced rules over the church.
God has given us victory at the cross and we are set free form his chains that had bound us and we have liberty. Therefore, the Scriptures which cannot be broken has warned us not to use our freedom for the Flesh.
as it is written in
Galatians 5:13
For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.
1. But this is the thing, there are millions of Christians who don't know Jesus Christ the son of God and their have never repented of their sins. Neither do they know what was done for us at the cross. for the preachers Left their mandate. and false preacher have risen and running churches with doctrines and traditions of men inspired by demons.
2. There are places where the gospel has not yet been preached therefore it is our responsibility to go minister to them in the ends of the world. do not be shocked we might even begin in our own houses then proceed to our Neighbour hoods for the sharped have perverted the gospel of God and have accepted sins, abominations in the churches.
We go from grace to grace as the Spirit of truth sees fit, I am constantly repenting of what I believe; as more light is given, sometime in a short period of time, sometime in longer lengths of time, there is a TIME for every purpose under heaven.
I once believed the prince in Daniel referred to the antichrist, but the Spirit of Truth CAUSED me to repent of my belief.
Daniel 4:35 ...and he doeth according to HIS WILL in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth, and NONE can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?
Isaiah 55:8 .... your ways are not my ways ......
Ecclesiastes 3:1 To everything there is a season, a TIME to every PURPOSE under heaven .....
We don't know why God does what he does, what we do know is when he has put ALL THINGS under Christ:
Cheryl good question....But Abraham himself was a syrian Duet 26:5 and he became the father of the nation of Israel....God always had the Gentiles in mind....Jesus said there were many lepers in Israel at the time of Elijah the Prophet but unto none of them was Elijah sent but unto Naaman a syrian....And Jesus ministered to the woman at the well a samaritan....Telling her the gift of God was he himself....A well of water that wd neva go dry....Springing up unto everlasting life....Which is the H.G. the gift of God to anybody....They shall all be taught of God under this NEW covenant.... Jeremiah 31 :34....I will know them ALL from the least to the greatest....Thus there is no more Jew of GENTILE IN Christ Jesus....he died for everybody.....God so loved the world...If I be lifted up I will draw ALL men unto me....K GBU
We agree on Daniel 9:25-27 is a prophecy about the Messiah/Christ, the temple, Jerusalem, and Daniel's people, but the rest of your reply, our understandings are different, and I would not know how to reply, but to say a prayer for all of us. John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
1 Kings 9:16 gives the answer; as to how they obtained the land; the king of Egypt conquered it and gave it as a present to his daughter; Solomon's wife. Verses 20 and 21 show how they were bondservants instead. In the case of the Gibeonites; Israel had to protect them because they didn't seek God first and made a covenant with them.
There may be other scriptures indicating specifics here; my point is that there were exceptions; even in the lineage of David leading to Christ (such as Ruth; Rahab and other descendants from Gentile origin.) There were rules as to how many generations had to pass before Temple worship; etc. but there was always a contingency of those who would follow the God of Israel (such as the multitude in the Exodus).
I would also say that God devoted destruction to the descendants of Nephilim (which were wiped out in the time of David with the last remaining one: Goliath and earlier his 4 brothers). This was a big reason for what seems like wholesale cruel destruction of everyone; namely they were not fully human. The nations which would cause their own children to be sacrificed to idols were also the recipients of God's wrath; such as the Amorites in Genesis 15:16. There was a set time for destruction when iniquity is at the full; and such was the case with Nineveh; but was granted a reprieve after repentance for a couple hundred years or so; eventually fulfilled as the book of Nahum explained.
In some ways as well; the Caananites served as an object lesson to Israel. ( 1 Samuel 4:3-5 and later verses show how the fear of the Lord came on the Caananites and they made sacrifice.) Whether they repented after being plagued by God; or healed of the ailments is unclear; but they at least knew what they had to do and that they were under God's wrath and displeasure.
The Caananites were under a curse in general since Genesis 9 (the details have been debated). Judges 2:21-23 gives a further clue; disobedience of Israel stopped it.
Yes Ronald , if sin were so easy to identify we would see it coming a mile away , but it's a cunning serpent , Luke 16 V 15 , if we think about this , deeply and honestly , we can see that everything that most human societies put value upon , God finds to be abominable , that's a big and serious word that we need to take notice of .
I am unable to find a detailed commentry on Joshua 16:10.... on your website. I shall be grateful for an answer. Joshua was a man who served God faithfully and did as he was told. So Why were the canaanites not fully destroyed. It does mention the Tribute factor ?
Works have nothing to do with salvation.
The wages of sin is DEATH.
You were SAVED from DEATH and GIVEN IMMORTAL LIFE by being resurrected a joint heir with Christ.
Eternal life is a GIFT of God.
It was given to you before you ever knew to do right or wrong.
The bible is the words of God; to bring you to truth of what Christ has done for you, and who you are as a NEW CREATION in HIM.
You are now the BODY of CHRIST, Christ is the LIFE in you you HIS body. All the WORKS: you his body does; are not your works, but HIS WORKS.
Ezekiel 36:27 And I will put my SPIRIT IN YOU and CAUSE you to walk in my statues, and to keep my judgements and DO THEM.
Philippians 2:13 For it is God who WORKETH in you (his body) both TO WILL and TO DO his good pleasure.
The WORDS were given so creation can come to TRUTH by those words that were written.
You can't be ONE with Christ if you do BELIEVE what he says he has done.
God Bless you.

Hi,
after the fall of Adam the father and eve the mother of all human beings which happened at the Garden of Eden in the beginning.

Amen.
Please read part 3.

Hi,
I pray that God the great God will help us to understand this question and many more that we require an swears to Amen.
it is written in proverbs 4;7
(Please read Part 2. Amen)
It's all the WORK of God, as HE see fit.
God bless you!
God will be ALL in ALL ..... 1 Corinthians 15:28
point of correction
Could you say what book and chapter you are referring to, someone I am sure will help. Sorry your guestion has not been not been addressed.
God bless,
RLW
We agree on Daniel 9:25-27 is a prophecy about the Messiah/Christ, the temple, Jerusalem, and Daniel's people, but the rest of your reply, our understandings are different, and I would not know how to reply, but to say a prayer for all of us. John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
God bless,
RLW
