I think we have been in this famine for a very long time
It started with the printed word and it's interpertation. And
Will ,,, get worse as this age continues.

The scripture says GOD sends the famine...THE FAMine is NOT WANTING TO KNOW or HEAR what God's Word teaches...especially in times of prosperity,AS TODAY.

ITS GOOD THAT WE ARE FILLED WITH THE WORD OF GOD BEFORE THAT MENTIONED TIME.

I see that USA, we are taking God out of all places. When we take God out, the USA is gone. Take and learn the word of God, and all will go well.

Amos 8.9, does the beginning of the Day of the Lord consist of 3 days of darkness: .. I will make the sun go down at noon, and darkened the earth in broad daylight.. Millions of unbelievers will die. Some believers will perish, but they will be counted among the martyrs.

"He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches." For the days are coming and they are coming no one can stop them or run away from the days.

These days are definitely here. All these new versions of the Bible are causing so much confusion which is not of God.( 1Cor 14:33). If the King James Bible is God's inspired perfect word, which it is, why change it?
  • Harold Robinson on Amos 8:11 - 14 years ago
I think the days are here. I went in search of a nice King James Version study Bible the other day for my daughter for a Christmas present. I spent a good part of the day, because most stores, even Christian bood stores have filled their shelves with every other version known to man.

I think there's nothing in the text suggesting that it is about bad preachers in the modern church. I can se the temptation to do that, but it is uncalled for in the text.
