The reason the book of John doesn't contain the word faith is because he uses a different word which actually means believe , as opposed to faith . Same thing you may say .
By that logic , if you believe in witches , does that not also mean that you have faith in them ? Do you believe ( have faith ) in their powers ?
I don't believe in or have faith in any other power that that of the God of all Creation , the Holy One of Israel and , His Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ . They are all I believe in , all I have faith in , they are true and all powerful and all knowing and able to do absolutely anything with any part of this entire universe . It all comes from , belongs to and is sustained by the Lord our God .

That's exactly what I did say and what I believe . There are people today , people of other faiths , who believe all kinds of weird and wonderful things that we know are not true . But to those people who believe them , those false doctrines and their gods are true , they believe in them 100 per cent . To those people their beliefs are true and real . Hello brother Spencer! I am well by God's grace. I have not travelled again since the trio to Mississippi. Bryce and Sarah are very happy together and have travelled quite a bit already. We hope to see them ourselves here in California around Christmas time. Today we had a Church re-building unit here with four young men and their houseparents and two young children with our two sons and Joyce and I. A nice quiet day!

My name is Frank and I am 33, with a wife and 2 young children. I have had ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) for 3.5 years and am nearly fully paralyzed. ALS is considered terminal, but I believe Jesus still heals today. I am grateful that this journey led me to the Lord. I want more time to serve Jesus and spend meaningful time with my family. You may want to investigate if there is a local "food bank" in your area. When I was going through some difficult times financially I was able to qualify for food assistance where once a week I would go to my nearest food distributor (a local church) and receive 1-2 large bags of food (rice, pasta, cans of vegetables, bread, etc.) for my family. They would also pay my electric bill once every six months. It was a real GOD-send. They may offer this in your area too (sometimes local churches will also offer such a program to lower-income persons).
Father God I pray for protection from witchcraft attacks coming against me and ask that You cover me and all of my family members I pray for daily and often to be protected from things trying to come agiainst us. I ask for your divine covering and protection over all of us and I ask that You will sent very high level Guardian angels and Warring angles to protect over me and all of my family members I pray for daily and often. I ask for peace in all of the areas You see I need peace. I ask for a financial miricle to Bless me to pay off all debt. First off let me thank you for your prayers, I thank you! I believe you are right about what happens with these children, it's not only that they are alone at the border, but also what happens to them once they are introduced to America's indoctrination to children protective services. I pray for the kids, I do believe Christ will show them mercy. I also pray for those that are abusing them, I don't believe God will be as merciful to them.

I agree that we should pray for these children. They are often exploited, or sent to the border alone, or put in harm's way. May God show mercy to them all.
Also, I agree that we are all of the same "stock" having Adam and Eve as our first parents. Many people do prefer to see people according to their ethnicity, race, or "otherness", but may more people see people as people God created for us to love, show kindness to, and as people in need of a Savior as we all do need. So, Scripture says to be merciful as God is merciful.
Rather than being divisive about people groups, I choose to push back against this thinking, as I think you do, too. Each of us can follow the Holy Spirit's leading in how we treat and think about each person we encounter or when considering how we approach groups of people.

The word zeal means to boil, to be on fire. We hear about people being "on fire" for the Lord!" Those are the people that I would stay out of their way lest I catch fire!
It says that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. If that zeal, that fervency, is not governed by the truth of God's word, it's dangerous because it becomes strictly excitement. And the thing that is lacking today is the same as in Hosea's day when he expressed God's heart when he said, "My people perish for a lack of knowledge."
We're in a day and age where people are more and more disinterested in what the bible has to say. And yet in it, God reveals Himself. You can't get a more important book than that.
But Israel has a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. In other words, they knew Messiah was coming but they didn't know that Jesus was the Messiah. They didn't put all the knowledge together. In fact, the word knowledge is the word "Complete knowledge." In the Geek text it is EPI and GNOSKO. Not according to complete knowledge. They had some of the knowledge but not all of it.
Roman 10:9 - That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
If thou shalt confess with thy mouth Lord Jesus. Please notice that I left out the word "the" because it's not in the Greek text. It's not a statement that a person says, but rather a personal relationship that one expresses. For instance, if you will confess in your mouth Lord Jesus, that's your relationship with Him.
And you shall believe in thine heart that God has raised him from the dead (because the Jews did not believe that He was the Messiah, and they did not believe in His resurrection), thou shalt be saved. It's a promise for the future. It doesn't say you are saved, but thou shalt be saved.
Romans 9:13 - As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.
What a serious statement to make! I have shared this in the past about these two words. The terms love and hate are called words of comparison. The words themselves don't mean He loves them, and He hates them.
The Greek word for hate, MISEO means to love less. It doesn't mean hostility. In Matthew 10:37, Jesus says, "He that loves father and mother more than me is not worthy of me, and he that loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me."
Jesus is talking about comparisons. He's saying that we must love Him so much that in comparison to everybody else, it looks like we hate them.

And you shall believe in thine heart that God has raised him from the dead (because the Jews did not believe that He was the Messiah, and they did not believe in His resurrection), thou shalt be saved. It's a promise for the future. It doesn't say you are saved, but thou shalt be saved.
Romans 9:13 - As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.
What a serious statement to make! I have shared this in the past about these two words. The terms love and hate are called words of comparison. The words themselves don't mean He loves them, and He hates them.
The Greek word for hate, MISEO means to love less. It doesn't mean hostility. In Matthew 10:37, Jesus says, "He that loves father and mother more than me is not worthy of me, and he that loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me."
Jesus is talking about comparisons. He's saying that we must love Him so much that in comparison to everybody else, it looks like we hate them.
Romans 9:22 - What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:
This word "fitted" is what's called the middle voice in Greek. That is, the vessel itself made itself a condition of a vessel for destruction. Nowhere in the text does it ever say God makes a good vessel for a vessel of destruction.
Just like Judas Iscariot, he didn't become evil and filled with Satan because God says, "You come here, I need to put Satan in you because I need somebody to be an evil disciple." The bible says he was evil already, and that Jesus literally chose, and that's what He said in John Chapter 6, "Haven't I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a demon." He needed somebody who was evil to fulfil the role of an evil disciple. But Judas was already evil.
So, a vessel fitted for destruction, and the word fitted means that the vessel conditions itself to be fitted for destruction. God doesn't do it! But once it's fitted for destruction, and it is a vessel of destruction, God uses it. He uses both honorable vessels and dishonorable vessels. He'll use them both for His glory and for His honor out of His choice.
