Your answer is in your post in v. 39 ..."for I say unto you, you will not see me henceforth, till you shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord."...You can see it's not implied forever more, because they will see him when he returns, and not just the southern kingdom, (house of Judah), but also the northern kingdom (house of Israel), and He will covenant with them, and they with Him.
Albeit, the conditions will be much different as declared by Jeremiah:
31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:
33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
35 Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name:
36 If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.
37 Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.

Genesis 17:10-14.
This pointed to Christ work on the cross. Colossians 2:10-17.
This has nothing to do with race!
It has everything to do with covenant!
And a Jew inwardly has nothing to do with Israel as a Nation and God's covenant and future promises to the Nation Israel and the Davidic kingdom in the Millennium.
Jesus proclaimed Himself to be the "Alpha and Omega" in
Revelation 1:8;
Revelation 21:6; and
Revelation 22:13.
Alpha and omega are the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet.
It's common to use the first and the last letters of the Hebrew alphabet to denote the whole of anything from beginning to end. Jesus as the beginning and end of all things is a reference to no one but God!
This statement of eternality could apply only to God.
It is equivalent to saying He always existed and always will.
The phrase also identifies Him as the God of the Old Testament. Isaiah ascribes this aspect of Jesus' nature as part of the triune God in several places. "I, the Lord, am the first, and with the last I am He" Isaiah 41:4.
"I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God"
Isaiah 44:6.
I am he; I am the first, I also am the last" Isaiah 48:12.
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, THE ALMIGHTY. Revelation 1:8
Jema sorry for the late reply. Those plagues sent by God upon the Egyptians will be more like the wrath of God that will only be poured out on the non-believers, the disobedient ones, those who accepted the mark of the beast and worshipped his image who believe not in Jesus Christ.
( Jn. 3:36) The word (beleiveth) is #4100; it means to have faith in, to entrust, (especially one's spiritual well-being to Christ) reliance upon Christ for salvation.
The words (beleiveth not) is #544; it means to disbelieve, not believe, disobedient, obey not, unbelieving.
So the believers in Christ have everlasting life. ( Mt. 24:40-42) Those taken are the believers who receive everlasting life. Those left are the one's that the wrath of God abideth on.
( Eph. 5:6) "cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience"
( Col. 3:6) "the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience"
Jesus comes in the clouds to gather together His elect, His church, His bride in ( Mt. 24:29-31) v29 Tells us "Immediately after the tribulation". Jesus comes in the clouds AFTER the tribulation. God's wrath is not poured out until all True Believers in Jesus are caught up to meet the Lord in the clouds. ( 1 Thess. 4:16-17) and ( Mt. 24:40-42) All will go through the tribulation period but Believers in Jesus Christ are not appointed unto wrath ( 1 Thess. 5:9) God's wrath comes AFTER the tribulation period.
We will be proving our Faith during great tribulation.
You are 100% right Jema, we must trust in God and wait for our Salvation from above. This will be a time of testing when the antichrist will bring about the mark of the beast during great tribulation and many True Believers will be beheaded ( Rev. 2:10) ( Rev. 20:4)
Testing during (tribulation) #2347; pressure, afflicted, anguish, burdened, persecution, trouble.
Plagues during (wrath) #3709; violent passion, or [justifiable] abhorrence, punishment, anger, indignation, vengeance.
It pretty much says that immediately after the tribulation, the sun will go darkened and the moon shall not give her life and the stars shall fall from heaven.
So, it almost sounds like the white throne will take place before 1000 years?
Otherwise, I am missed understanding 1000 years millennium, we will not need the sun to shine on the Earth?
I understand the new heavens light will come from God.
You will not get many answers because not many belong to churches which read the Apocrypha. Churches such as the Eastern Orthodox Churches consider the Apocrypha as "not God inspired but beneficial for reading". They don't call those books Apocrypha (grk for not known, secret) but Deuterocanonical (grk for second order canonical). They use the name Apocrypha for books that have been rejected by both Hebrews and christians. The R/Catholics accept some books less than the Orthodoxes. There are some protestant churches as well that read those, but I don't know what they consider of them.
Just read this & thought how timely this fits in with our discussion, thinking it would be a sin not to share it, in that it could help us all, He expounds it so much better than I.
A Christian is to be a follower of Christ, and consequently must have the same rule to walk by as Christ had. A Christian proceeds from Christ, hath the same life in him, and needs the same rule. Christ had the fulness of life, and of his fulness we all receive a measure of the same life. "We are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. Yea, we came out of the same spring of life from whence he came: "For both he that sanctifieth, and they who are sanctified, are all of one; for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren." Now what was his rule? Was it not the fulness of life which he received? And what is their rule? Is it not the measure of life which they receive? Was not Christ's rule the law of the spirit; the law which the spirit wrote in his heart? And is not their rule the law of the spirit; the law which the spirit writes in their hearts? How was Christ made a king and a priest? Was it by the law of a carnal commandment? or by the power of an endless life? And how are they made kings and priests to God? Rev. 1:6. Is it by the law of a carnal commandment? or is it by the power of the same endless life? "Lo, I come to do thy will, O God," says Christ, "when he cometh into the world." Heb. 10:5,7. But by what rule? By what law? "Thy law is within my heart." Psalm 40:8. And the same spirit who wrote it there, is also to write the new covenant, with all the laws of it, in the heart of every Christian, from the least to the greatest. Heb. 8:9 10. Yea, the same spirit that dwelt in Christ's heart, is to dwell in their hearts, according to the promise of the covenant. Ezek. 36:27. This was Paul's rule, after which he walked,
The law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus." Rom. 8:1-2. This made him "free from the law of sin and death." Where is the law of sin written? Where is the law of death written? Is it not written in the heart? And must not the law of righteousness and life be written there also, if it be able to deal with sin and death? The spirit forms the heart anew, forms Christ in the heart, begets a new creature there, which cannot sin "(He that is born of God sins not)." And this is the rule of righteousness, the new creature, or the spirit of life in the new creature. Gal. 6:15-16. "In Christ Jesus, neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but a new creature. And as many as "walk according to this rule, peace be on them." Mark: there is the rule; the new creature, which is begotten in every one that is born of God. "If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature;" and this new creature is to be his rule. And as any man walks according to this rule, according to the new creature, according to the law of light and life that the spirit continually breathes into the new creature, he hath peace; but as he transgresses that, and walks not after the spirit, but after the flesh, he walks out of the light, out of the life, out of the peace, into the sea, into the death, into the trouble, into the condemnation. Here then is the law of the converted man, the new creature; and the law of the new creature is the spirit of life which begat him, which lives, and breathes, and gives forth his law continually in him. Here is a Christian; here is his rule: he that hath not the new creature formed in him, is no Christian; and he that hath the new creature, hath the rule in himself. "Ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things." 1 John 2:20. How came they to know all things? Doth not John say, it was by the "unction"? The anointing was in them, a fountain or well-spring of light and life, issuing forth continually such rivers and streams of
life within, as they needed no other teacher in the truth and way of life. verse 27. The "Comforter" did refresh their hearts sufficiently, and led them into all truth. Search the apostles' epistles, and ye shall find them testifying of the Lord's sending his spirit into the hearts of Christians; and exhortations to them not to grieve or quench the spirit, but to follow as they were led. They were to "live in the spirit," and to "walk in the spirit." Gal. 5:25. And the spirit was to walk, and live, and bring forth his own life and power in them. 2 Cor. 6:16. And what can be the proper and full rule of God's sons and daughters, but the light of the spirit of life, which they receive from their Father? Thus God did advance the state of a believer above the state of the Jews under the law: for they had the law, though written with the finger of God, yet but in tables of stone; but these have the law, written by the finger of God in the table of their hearts. Theirs was a law without, at a distance from them, and the priest's lips were to preserve the knowledge of it, and to instruct them in it; but here is a law within, nigh at hand, the immediate light of the spirit of life shining so immediately in the heart, that they need no man to teach them; but have the spirit of prophecy in themselves, and quick, living teachings from him continually, and are made such kings and priests to God, as the state of the law did but represent. The gospel is the substance of all the shadows contained in the law. A Christian is he that comes into this substance, and lives in this substance, and in whom this substance lives; and his rule is the substance itself, in which he lives, and which lives in him. Christ is the substance, who lives in the Christian, and he in Christ: Christ lives in him by his spirit, and he in Christ by the same spirit: there he lives, and hath fellowship with the Father and the Son, in the light wherein they live, and not by any outward rule. 1 John 1:6-7
In Revelation 20, this is just after the battle of Armageddon when the beast and the false prophet, and their army of the ten kingdoms/nations are defeated and the beast and the false prophet are cast into the lake of fire. Satan is then bound in the bottomless pit and the 1000 years of Jesus's reign over the earth. After 1000 years Satan is released and deceives the nations/world, and they went up and surrounded the city/Jerusalem and fire comes down from heaven and in my understanding burns up the entire earth.
Satan is then cast into the lake of fire, then the white throne and God who sits on it comes down and the earth and heaven that is today fled away. Then the final judgment where all the rest of the dead that was not in the first resurrection will be judged from the books that are written and who is not written in the Book of Life will be cast into the lake of fire. Those whose name is in the Book of Life will go into eternity with those in the first resurrection.
Thank you Brother Dan, it is nice to hear your encouragements too! We seem to be free to choose how wide our path we make in God's field, but the narrower (self denial) that path, the more room for the field to produce a harvest.
We can choose the narrow or wide path! We have to bedoersand not hearers only.
James 1:22
"But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves."
We can see why it is called the narrow way because there are few people/Christians who are willing to actually walk in this narrow way, that Christ requests from us! Why? Because to give up all of our possessions, and worldly life, it actually causes us much suffering in many respects - more than we want to endure for God! Really?
But, In reality, to walk in the narrow way is not too heavy for us. Giving up worldly things I believe can actually provide us greater freedom from being bound to all of our worldly commitments allowing us to focus on God and the business of His - rather than the business of Ours. Ours is a waste of life and ending in bodily death and spiritual death. If we accept to do things God's way, it will lead to bodily death - but we will receive the ultimate goal - eternal life!
It's our choice - this worldly life - and weeping and gnashing of teeth as you reminded us.
Or God's way which is for us to suffer now in this life - but in the end receive the ultimate crown - eternal life. 1Peter 4:1-2
Who inspired the holy men of God to write the Bible, which the Bible points to as the Giver of all Life, that we may freely become partake of the Life of Christ, that we may possess a personal intimate relationship with our Father though His Son Jesus Christ, who will cleanse us from all sin that we may become sons of God, by which God by His Spirit makes all these thing possible.
1Cor 15:45Job 33:4Rom 8:9John 10:10
The letter can not do this & was not given to do this. Meaning the Strong Concordance or what wherever else their is out there, it maybe helpful to the little children, but its not necessary, man have put them in the place of His Spirit in discerning the things of God.,..
For the Spirit is given for this very purpose to guide, convict, teach, comfort & counsel us. Jesus states, John 16:7
He bringing us into the very Life of God the Scriptures give witness too, that all the holy men & women of God enjoy by His Spirit
John 3:27 God,
For the Father seeketh such to worship Him, meaning being led by His Spirit & Truth in all things that pertaineth to this life & without His Spirit leading us nothing is acceptable to Him. Jesus said that I only say & do as the Father reveals it to Me, our Forerunner
David,
The Spirit will always point to the Life of Christ as our Example, John 17:17-19 meaning the words God's Spirit led Him to say & do, sanctifies Him & us. 1John 2:61John 4:17 & will alway align Himself to the Scriptures which He, Himself inspired, along with mans nobler part, "sound reasoning". His Spirit bearing witness with our spirit.
This is not against Scriptures, by no means, but fulfills them, we can't understand the truth imported by them, without the One who inspired them as Scripture plainly reveals 1Cor 2:9-14.
Job 32:8
You keep making these dogmatic statements, contrary to the Scriptures you point too!
I agree, also we who are in Christ shall be one to do His will.
John 17:20-23 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; 21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. 22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: 23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
Lord Jesus I'm thinking about the walls of Jericho. Please let the trumpet blast be heard and the walls finally come tumbling down. Please finally grant this breakthrough for us. I continue to ask for your strong protection, I plead your precious blood and ask for Holy Warrior angels and for you to be a wall of fire around us. Please break the bondage, remove the strongholds, restore all the brokenness, heal the hearts and souls and convict of abusive and destructive behavior, grant true repentance and salvation. Lord Jesus do this for us please and for all others in need as well. Please bless and protect all praying. Thank you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.
The phenomenon of speaking in Tongues was a legitimate means by which God spoke directly to Believers and the Church before the Bible was completed. And God laid down very specific rules for how that was to occur. It is interesting that God makes a distinction in 1 Cor 14 between the value of Tongues in the early Church verses Prophesying. And every True Believer is indeed a "prophet" as they faithfully declare the Word of God.
Once the Bible was completed with the book of Revelation, God declared in Rev 22:18 that He would never again speak directly to mankind apart from the Bible itself.
I am personally convinced that God allowed this phenomenon of Tongues in the early Church before the Bible had been completed as a testing program for our Day as to whether the Church and individuals would be satisfied with the Bible Alone as our Authority. Or would there be an insistence in additional Devine Revelation in addition to the Bible itself.
And is it not amazing how the Tongues phenomena and interest in Signs and Wonders has spread like wild fire with the charismatic movement during the last few decades.
This is just another evidence as to why our understanding of the Nature of the Bible is so very important in our Day.
It's all about the Wide Path verses the Narrow Path! Matt 7:14
How we live our lives make a difference. 1John 2:15 Sharing my evolving view based on the scripture is - as we grow closer to God we should be separating ourselves from the world, including letting go of all unnecessary material possessions, not required to live, and embracing only things needed to sustain life; like food, water, shelter, etc. In other words: spend more time with God - less time with the world! 1John 2:17 God's Holy Spirit will assure that we progressively adopt this Godly lifestyle!
There is a false assumption that we can live our worldly lives while embracing a material lifestyle and still receive salvation.
Evidence: Look at all of the Churches full of people living material lifestyles, led by pastors living the same material lifestyles. Matt 15:14
Hard to find the opposite: Christians living a meager lifestyle denying thyself, and focusing most of their day on God with no respect for the worldly lifestyle/possession, and even harder to find a pastor living a deny thyself lifestyle. Needle in a haystack!
When put in perspective with the scripture it is easy to see:
Corinthians chapter 14 verse 34 & 35, did man change the meaning, because 22:18 & 22:19 say man cannot add or take away from this book. explain. thanks
We are still following Christ, he is the Church ?,
women preaching in churches does that go against 34 & 35 ? , & take away from the meaning of Revelations 22:18 & 22:19 ?
Thanks

And a Jew inwardly has nothing to do with Israel as a Nation and God's covenant and future promises to the Nation Israel and the Davidic kingdom in the Millennium.

Jesus proclaimed Himself to be the "Alpha and Omega" in
Revelation 1:8;
I hope this helps.
God bless.
Thank you Jema. Do you see the timeline in this?
In Matthews 24:29
It pretty much says that immediately after the tribulation, the sun will go darkened and the moon shall not give her life and the stars shall fall from heaven.
So, it almost sounds like the white throne will take place before 1000 years?
Otherwise, I am missed understanding 1000 years millennium, we will not need the sun to shine on the Earth?
I understand the new heavens light will come from God.
You are correct, it is after Satan is cast into the lake of fire, you can find that in Revelation 20.

I wasn't sure if any scripture supported that.
I'm not sure that I understand the answer. I'm sorry, but sometimes a simple answer is better for me. I am little slow sometimes on understanding.
The Great White Throne judgment takes place before or after the millennium?
This is my understanding I hope it helps.
God bless,

Helpful for little babes, Hebrews 5:12-14
1Peter 4:1-2

the Rule & Guide of a Christian life
Who inspired the holy men of God to write the Bible, which the Bible points to as the Giver of all Life, that we may freely become partake of the Life of Christ, that we may possess a personal intimate relationship with our Father though His Son Jesus Christ, who will cleanse us from all sin that we may become sons of God, by which God by His Spirit makes all these thing possible.
1Cor 15:45 Job 33:4 Rom 8:9 John 10:10
1John 2:6 1John 4:17 & will alway align Himself to the Scriptures which He, Himself inspired, along with mans nobler part, "sound reasoning".

Does it take place at the end of the thousand years after the devil is cast into the lake with the false prophet and the antichrist?
Thanks!

Thanks for the clarification on this point. Now I understand more fully what you intended to say in your first post.
So very nice to hear from you!
Wide Path - Narrow Path!
